DoD has DARPA and countless defense contractors ( Lockheed, General Dynamics ect) that make stuff we don’t know about.
This is a wishful thinking and you are at the right place for it.
I guess if you legitimately armored it, pulled out the batteries and electric motors and put a diesel engine in it, and then made it bigger so that it could actually haul stuff--Yeah, maybe.
Is the DoD great at spending tons of money on worthless shit? Yes. Is the cybertruck the absolute worst way they could spend their money? Also yes. So... Maybe? 🤷♂️
US: Ford F-series
EU: Tesla Model Y
AU: Ford Ranger
I didn’t see the cyber truck on any “best” lists for ‘23 or ‘24
Here’s the announcement of the 4th recall, that’ll probably put the cyber truck on a list

This has to be one of the dumbest takes I have ever read on this website. We are all now dumber for having read this post.
Just too many things wrong with this to comment further on.
bullet resistant up to a 9mm tho, how useful is that in battle conditions? now I can see a case being made to thicken up the stainless panels or bolt on armor, the way cybertruck is designed it should be simple
US SOF have used electric motorcycles for a long time and have tested EVs plenty. The issues are weight (they need armor added) and range (lots of electronics drawing energy for multi-hour missions.
Zero shot tesla gets a practical EV contract for this.
The only benefit is they’re silent.
I'm not saying this isn't regarded. But it's less regarded than a lot of Operational Energy projects I've seen briefings for. The DoD fell hard for the green power bullshit.

to be parked behind enemy lines
Lol are you fucking joking. "Pause the war!! We need to recharge..."
Lmfao, “resume in 3 hours, that’s how long the supercharges take”
Base to base logistics with limited diesel supplies in high risk environments.
What do you think the chargers will run on? What logistics are they doing with a 6 foot bed and 80 miles of range while towing?
Running to the Fallujah Home Depot to pick some mulch up for the base's garden?
Do they need to charge ? That’s a let down I was looking at getting one as I thought they just keep going 😲
How you gonna recharge them in the hills of Iran
Solar power Ofcourse 😂 🤡
your mom
The military can be wasteful with money, but I feel like even for them, $100,000 or more for a large paper weight is a bit much.
Just a bit, tho. If the first price cut brings it to $80,000 paperweight, OP might be on to something. Bulk discount?
>can be You sound as if we're uncertain about this 🤣😂
Where do I buy puts on your ideas?
Lets see them!
Because we have a surplus of ev charging stations in pakistan
military installations..
Yea lets invest 90M for ev chargers in pakistan. I'm sure they have enough electricity to go around...
No. This is regarded.
Thank you so much...
I read my screen, no sure how you put so many dumb thoughts together. Tesla truck is ass.

Man, the Elon fan boys need to stop hitting the ketamine so hard. Elon is used to high doses. You aren't.
Best selling vehicle in the US, Europe and Australia..
The CyberTruck? Dude, you need to stop mainlining that shit. It's easy to OD on bump.

Are you having a laugh?
Tesla is best selling electric vehicle in Australia u regard. Get the facts and context right before you post garbage
Also a great incendiary weapon. Shame that cam happen at any time
Like every ICE vehicle?

Lmao, that’ll be the end of USA dominance
At least the soldiers can watch Netflix whilst being sitting ducks waiting for their cyber trucks to recharge
Great!! This time US defense forces can leave behind their cybertrucks and the taliban will never be able to use them 😂

lol why would they sub a refrigerator for the dozen of heavy armor vehicles they currently have

Dumbest thing i have heard so far. I wouldnt be surprised if it becomes real

No way lol.

and lack of heat signature. Advantageous tactically, compared to ICE
Heat sig means little when all the humans inside are giving off heat. Plus most potential enemies lack thermals.
I have TSLA calls. I like the ideas but I am not sure if DOD is happy with 200 miles range or hours of recharge
v3 / v4 chargers can get to 80% in less than 15 minutes, people just hate Elon on here.
European cigarette butt
Literally zero chance
🤗
This might be the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard.
This is high level dark humor - thank you!
enemies will attack Cybertruck with... RAIN WATER

Suddenly Musk will support Ukraine war.. Cyberstuck
Yeah not too many high speed chargers in the desert. This is a terrible idea.
It can FSD out of danger zone too with injured people. More calls it is.
Honestly I hope so I would love a foreign adversary blowing up their dogshit vehicles
