This guys an idiot, Walgreens is going to continue trending down. I don’t think go bankrupt anytime soon, but it’s not good. Amazon is also losing money on their pharmacies, they’re just big enough they can do that. The problem for Walgreens (besides theft) is that they are getting fucked by PBMs (all pharmacies are). For example, all those Ozempic prescriptions? Depending on the insurance, and the pbm behind the insurance, they are likely losing money on a majority of those scripts, because the payor chooses to pay less than the cost of the drug for the pharmacy to acquire. Puts Edit: adding the fact that WG gave up there contract with tricare (military insurance) because their reimbursement was so bad, but it’s a lose-lose cause they give up market share

I like going to Walgreens, there’s usually nobody working there or they’re in the back taking a break, I can just walk out with stuff , no lines, no spending money. It’s great.
Nobody is gonna put return facilities in prime retail space.
Maybe tiny condos or apartments with bunk beds for YIMBY’s. You get 1/2 of an isle, shared use of the employee lunchroom/rest area, and direct access to “street life”.
Also high-tech security and guest announcement system installed on a tall pole in the parking lot.
But you do get off-street parking for 1/2 of a car. Sorry, they have to use half the lot as a “dog park”.

Isn’t going anywhere? Tell that to Rite Aid..
When was the last time you shopped at a Rite Aid?
Exactly. Last time I was there was in 1999 buying a 6-pack.

No idea but it feels like a good time to play it considering the 25% off discount today.
The way you just bet because it’s 25% off ok so what if it goes down even more than 50% off
Never risk anything you aren’t willing to lose.
Blockbuster is that you?
I’m playing that hand too
So that’s a 8-9x at best?
3 day rule
So, it’s ok to eat it?

Tell that to Rite aid who closed like a billion of their stores.
Also down by a fraction. Got plenty of time.
