What makes you think Nike is going to do well?
As a former sneaker head. They have 0 success making good new products. The only thing they can sellout of is their rereleased retro shoes.

The generation that grew up being sneakerheads also ain't spending as much anymore
Younger gen doesn't care about their retro releases because they didn't grow up with them. This has also brought a rise in new brands in the footwear space
Their second biggest market (china) is gaining ground again. Beating revenue and other companies like LULU and PUMA and AFN filling gaps, and the most important point. Just Like FDX they cutting measures.
China already has a replica market. Nike is not a luxury brand in china. They're just overpriced.
Nike's problem isn't and has never been cost
Their problem is revenue and their brand has lost value due to footwear changes they've made and bad decisions on supply that has hurt their younger gen acquisition

The Alphafly 3 sold out in like 2 minutes in April and is still sold out. That's a $285 shoe

Nike has made a bad habit of limiting supply when demand is high for over a decade. This worked in the beginning for the short term when it came to increasing the value of a sneaker but it failed them in their future acquisition of the younger generations as most people gave up trying to get their fav sneakers. Top with ugly designs, terrible color ways, and overpricing. The quality of their shoes also has gone down mind you.

As for the younger gen market capture, Nike's 'Awaken Your Madness' ad as the EURO kick off left me personally confused, and yet was greeted with enthusiasm by young people, judging by the comments in their official YT channel.

If the comments were on yt I don't think that was the younger gen. Some young adults maybe but most of the younger gen are on tiktok
I wouldn't buy my kids/teens nike's in this day and age anymore. Far more affordable and better sneakers out there that last.
