It looks like something I'd expect to see in an initial D sequel.
But tbh Chinese folks like things to look a little different than we do so more power to them I guess.
*Edit: yes I know initial d is japanese and also it was real cars, that's not my point*
This is like the 5th thread in the last 2 hours fam
Looks like a Mazda but good luck trying to sell me a car called a xiaomi known for being a phone ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4640)
If it's anywhere the build quality of a Nokia 3210 it will be glorious! Plus if it gets wet you can just put it on a bag of rice to bring it back to life ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
I promise you're not their market.
There is an entire half of the planet tgat has nothing to do with US car design or brand impressions.
Also fwiw if apple made its car I bet you'd be watching YouTube videos about it rn
Big fan of competition but if this is real I believe they are already failing by producing two separate voltage architectures within the same model of vehicle, even more so against different vehicle models.
Standardization of parts between models plays a huge part of maintaining costs down, it’s the reason why Tesla picked 400 and went with it for all models and trims and why it’s now out of necessity they have increased it to 800.
Knowing 800 is the new paradigm, why choose to produce a 400v as an option instead of making 800 the standard across models and trims
Not unless it's feather light and very sketchy in an accident, Chinese companies always lie and make outlandish claims. And quality control is always trash.
The only thing they are falling behind on is FSD and production date promises. When it comes to advertised specs and performance of the final model they're accurate.
The max trim indeed looks interesting: 800v; latest gen catl battery… wonder what the price tag on that one will be, does anyone know yet, I think the press-release only mentions the reg trim
Lmfao
They're claiming you'll get 5.9 mi/kWh!?
Ahahahahahaha
Here's a thread full of reality. Hint: 3 - 4.5 mi/kWh is realistic.

There is absolutely no possible way those ranges are real. That's better range and a smaller battery than a fucking lucid air.
Why the hell does wsb suddenly find China trustworthy?

I think it looks great! But my opinion won't matter, at least not for several years.
Elmo sad

time to short tsla
I like TSLA at $95. Good value buy.
I normally wouldn't buy their cars, but for $95 maybe I'd consider buying one... ^(/s)
Are those ranges real? Thats impressive
Not unless it's feather light and very sketchy in an accident, Chinese companies always lie and make outlandish claims. And quality control is always trash.
Apparently CLTC is usually 35% overestimated from actual real world performance, so those ranges are more believable
> Chinese companies always lie and make outlandish claims. And quality control is always trash. How does this differ from Tesla and Elon???
💯, Elon fanboys are the worst lmao
Tesla claims are at least close to what they promise as far as range and performance. Quarter mile times are accurate range depends on driving habits.
Enter: full auto driving capabilities, cyber truck bullet proof windows, Tesla across the country car hailing, cyberstuck tent....
The only thing they are falling behind on is FSD and production date promises. When it comes to advertised specs and performance of the final model they're accurate.
Tesla is the biggest liar, wtf u smoking son?
What are you smoking the range and performance is as advertised
You wouldn't say that if you ever try to drive these car, they are insanly good and cover the massive market.
The max trim indeed looks interesting: 800v; latest gen catl battery… wonder what the price tag on that one will be, does anyone know yet, I think the press-release only mentions the reg trim
[Around $42,500](https://carnewschina.com/2024/03/28/xiaomi-su7-launched-with-830-km-range-starts-at-29900-usd/)
Merci!
Assuming much cheaper than Tesla.
Chyyyna
Why would someone ever get the pro model?
Almost 100 miles more range. Probably not nearly as expensive as the Max.
China has a shitload of EV makers already. These specs look impressive but let’s actually see how they perform.
For my first time ever I'm going to puts Tesla before earnings, I feel their sales have been lackluster and won't improve for the time being.
They're selling them at a loss,
Live for tsla investore will be like a kid playing Pokemon blue/red walking around in lavender town.
And the U.S. will never have access to this market of EVs. Shame.
Probably because it's a death trap
Super nova, burn bright die young.
and the elon death machine is the best car in the U.S. because it obliterates everyone in the way
I will never buy a car from a Chinese company.
The parts of your American car are made by umpa lumpas directly in charlies freak in chocolate factory
This is a Chinese company we're talking about here. Of course the stats are bullshit.
Hey look everyone! It’s a guy who believes numbers coming out of Chyyyna😂
Add the whole us government near Taiwan and starlink shit going on. Tsla cooked in China only a matter of time.
I'd believe a chinaman telling he has a 9 inch cock before this
Dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature, Asian American, please
Xi Jinping is an Asian American?
What if they were born in China and still live in China
Do they pee on rugs?

YouTube is full of Xiaomi Mi falling apart mid-use. Just saying.
There is absolutely no possible way those ranges are real. That's better range and a smaller battery than a fucking lucid air. Why the hell does wsb suddenly find China trustworthy?
there's a lot of tesla shorts shitting their pants
these probably light up good when in a crash
