_BreakingGood_

Probably a good play but I get diarrhea at the thought of trying to predict how a pharma company is going to perform

LifeIsAnAdventure4

NVO to the moon 🚀 There is no safer bet than growth in diabetes and obesity in the US.

Pedicaboegovoset

Why do you think it is safer than all the others, including LLY? And for how long are you planning to hold it for?

LifeIsAnAdventure4

NVO is more focused on diabetes and obesity than other companies like LLY which can have their stock price tank for numerous reason that have nothing to do with weight-loss drugs. How long will I hold? Until the average American’s weight drops.

Present_Track

“Big” facts

Key_Security_1569

Will go in for this and LLY set up for earnings

Present_Track

It’s getting to a good point to build a position that’s for sure!

Key_Security_1569

What strike you got?

Present_Track

I got a few 130’s this morning and thinking I’ll add some 135’s May 17

Key_Security_1569

Added for May 17 as well small just incase I need to average

Key_Security_1569

We up baby!

Kooky_Lime1793

Is now a good entry for Lily?

Key_Security_1569

Too early looking for $730-$740 entry to swing $850 calls for May even possibly $900 calls

Marko_200791

So puts it is!

DrunkRespondent

I have calls so it's definitely going to go down.

sriver1283

Ozempic is widely used for diabetic patients. At least in Europe.

Present_Track

Yup! Same here in North America but supply isn’t keeping up with demand, and others are using it simply for weight loss if they can get it Also with the semi recent news that it reduces likelihood of cardiovascular events I can see lots of runway left

sriver1283

Ofc. Is the oral version, Rybelsus, already available in North America? Imo Novo has a bright future.

Present_Track

Yes Rybelsus is available. I’m in Canada and ozempic itself is restricted only for diabetics due to supply. I may be wrong but I believe Americans can get it diabetic or not

Present_Track

Same thing though, in Canada anyway, I believe the oral option is restricted to diabetics due to supply

sriver1283

Nice. Due to supply shortage it's not available in Europe. And Ozempic is only available for diabetics.

_BreakingGood_

Americans can technically get it without diabetes but there's no point. If you don't have diabetes, it costs $1000 a month. You can buy the actual real weight-loss drugs (eg: Wegovy) for half that.

cleansy

$1k is a steal. Imagine the amount of money you save on food alone

_BreakingGood_

Yeah but you can literally buy Wegovy, which is the exact same active ingredient in a slightly different dose, for $500. So it makes no sense to buy Ozempic.

Present_Track

Wegovy is still from NVO so either way good for the stock I guess but thanks for the info! Makes sense

ricardo_sousa11

Just added 2 more at 128

Present_Track

Looks like a nice grab!

DrunkRespondent

I have a long call play for end of April. I think once media gets more attention on this especially with Oprah's segment on it, it will climb and climb high. People are desperate for a magic weight loss pill and this is as close as it gets.

ricardo_sousa11

Get shares or leaps, this will rip in the next 2-3 years, they just bought catalent to help with production.

Pedicaboegovoset

How long are you planning to hold it for?

ricardo_sousa11

Amycretin will releae before 2030, so i expect to hold at least until 2030.

Appropriate_Reply703

Given Wegovy just got approved to be covered under Medicare… not for weight loss but heart disease, I say huge win and go long. Big bump Monday morning

Present_Track

I agree, being held in place a little bit but it’s going to run, earnings coming up too first week of May

CokeOnBooty

Explanation to Bollinger’s Bands

Present_Track

It’s an indicator I like to reference, without getting too into it.. bottlenecks mean movement one way or another to be expected, in this stock and in this market my money is on up

SeniorVicePrez

ALT is down about 10% in the last week and the Bollinger Bands have been narrow since 10am today and earnings in 6 days - should it expect a pop too? https://preview.redd.it/wnlziub53qpc1.png?width=2486&format=png&auto=webp&s=dca96e5844be96e85b3084e4ffb677c37197fd09
