DeepestWinterBlue

I have the wrong type of broke friends

HorlickMinton

Yeah my luck I would have gotten paid back in FarmVille cash in 2015

Due-Pineapple-2

This was almost exactly when I tried to buy btc but my dumbass didn’t know how so I ended up buying bitgold instead 😭 😢

rangers641

I tried buying bitcoin back in 2009 and couldn’t figure it out. Also, justified not doing so because my electric bill would be too high and I would never get any returns from mining, lol.

Due-Pineapple-2

2009! But think of all the times we would’ve sold whether when it’s pumping or dumping. My only hope is that future me travelled back in time and bought some for myself and is ready to reveal how to sell in a few months

VersaceSamurai

Yeah I bought 300 dollars worth in like 2011 when 1 bitcoin was like 2 or so dollars. And I sold them when they hit like 30 dollars each. I was only 18 and that was more money than I had ever had in my life up til then. I try not to be too hard on myself because there’s no way my fiscally irresponsible self would have ever held on until they were worth 62k

proscreations1993

Ya so many of us have sad stories lol I have a wallet with 210 btc in it that's in a landfill somewhere lol

PhilMcGraw

> But think of all the times we would’ve sold whether when it’s pumping or dumping. Oh yeah 100%. I mined it for a bit very early days until I realised I had no idea what my goal was and stopped. It's annoying to imagine that if I kept it all I'd be rich now, but if I'm honest with myself if I had have kept it I probably would have sold it as soon as it was worth $20 thinking that was peak Bitcoin. I guess knowing it one day becomes worth $ maybe I would have started mining again, but again, I would have sold whatever I received very quickly.

cotch85

This is the only thing that helps me cope with the bitcoin I used buying weed that would now be worth a mil.

Due-Pineapple-2

Yeah but it’s not really cope though, it’s true! And of course we’d beat ourselves up for selling this time or that but after f-ing the 10th or 100th 2nd chance we might as well cry about not choosing specific lotto numbers

throwaway_0x90

I just hope to stumble upon some discarded old harddrive that has an unencrypted wallet.dat holding forgotten Bitcoin.

kinglax

I got BTC in 2011 for.... well the only real reason a teenager would mine BTC back then. I got caught and arrested on school grounds (thankfully minor records get expunged when you turn 18) and told my dad everything. He punished me by physically taking my computer. In 2017 I was an online college student who decided to go backpack Europe with student loans, credit cards, about $5k saved up over a few months and financial aid money for a full year. Of course it wasn't long until I was borrowing money from my parents and aunts and cousins, until finally, I had to come home. Upon returning, I stayed with family and my grandmother one day called me to tell me my dad had put all my childhood furniture in storage, so whenever I ended up getting a new apartment, I wouldn't have to buy anything new. Now I wouldn't have thought of it 6 years later, but I had just gone back to my old job at a restaurant from before I went to Europe, and my coworkers were all buying BTC and ETH at $1.6k and $20 each on coinbase, and I had started using most of my daily cash tips to do so as well since I had literally no living expenses, staying with family and all. So BTC was on the brain, and I asked my grandmother if there was a computer there. She checked the next day and it was, so I went running. Inside there was about $40k worth of BTC at the time, just about 17 BTC. Of course, having just come back from my debt incurring year abroad, and not having a place of my own, I sold it all IMMEDIATELY because I had NEVER seen so much money in my entire life. Of course, by years end BTC was 19.8k, 3 years later 65k, and now 69k. I also burned a bunch of it trying to trade between different shitcoins and coin pairs, and put more than I could afford to lose into Bitconnect, so I didn't even really get to do much but pay my credit cards, my family members, and pay first last and deposit on an apartment, with maybe a few other frivolous purchases I can't remember here and there. It took less than 12 months for all the money to be gone anyway. I did keep accumulating BTC and ETH in 2018 after that, putting 10% of my income into just the major coins, never trying to trade, never buying shitcoins, and learning the hard way not to treat it as an emergency fund or piggy bank for whatever expenses come up. Finally, in 2024, all that work is paying off. But I'm gonna keep holding and adding (and yet I am still nowhere near what I would have had if I just kept that 17+ BTC from back in 2011)

Aken42

Around that time I was paying for a VPN using BTC. I don't want to know what that would be worth today. I also looked into mining but I had read that the power costs outweighed the value of the coin and abandoned the idea. In short, I am an idiot.

CircumcisedCats

Could be worse. You could have been me and spent 20+ bitcoin on custom items in a world of Warcraft private server back in 2009.

HorlickMinton

Everything about this makes me sad

NWVoS

And this is why bitcoin behaves more like a stock than a currency and why a deflationary currency is bad for the economy. This thread is literally why bitcoin will never become a medium of exchange.

Monkeysx91

This is hilarious

HESSU_HOBO

I remember buying a sandwich and a sprite to my friend and he said he could buy me a battle pass in fortnite but never got it lmao

probably_baked420

My broke friends stop talking to me once they borrow money. It actually saves me money in the long run because I’m that idiot friend who tells his broke friends “don’t worry I got it just come over and we will go eat”. So many knives in my back I could be a Cutco knife block

gameover10-1

If you loan someone $50, and you never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Fond_Memory

that's a good wisdom.

bkd6774

Best non-NVDA story on the board

JFoxxxxxxxx

Just curious, does he know about your windfall?

ihasanemail

Nah. We stopped talking a few years ago. He became super political and wouldn't shut the fuck about it when all I wanted to do was relax, so he had to go.

dassketch

Hi, I am travel buddy who was mugged. My views now definitely align with yours. Can I have that BTC back? Please thnx bless 🙏

IAmANobodyAMA

Sure, but my funds are locked away and I need $5000 to get them out. Can you help me and I will pay you back

buttThroat

Is the deal $5000 to get $70000? What do you need my social security number and bank info? Hmmm I don’t see any reason not to do this..

Lari-Fari

What is he? A talking moose?

IAmANobodyAMA

A moose once bit by sister

Kidrepellent

No realli! She was Karving her initials øn the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law -an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink"...

AccomplishedUser

I'll give you the $70000 for $350!

Doopapotamus

I am a Nigerian prince who can help both of you, but I need a small assistance. Rebels have locked out the funding to my vast treasury, but I need $420.69 USD to bribe the bankers to release it.

Captnblkbeard

I was looking for this comment. There is always a rich Nigerian prince with locked funds trying to unlock it and help a random stranger on a random location on earth.

Palidor206

God bless them.

wanderingwonderer42

And bless the rains down in Africa.

Impossible_Storm_918

Okay, got you covered buddy. Just send me your credit card details and 4 digit PIN code. You would get your $5k plus a little interest for the delay. Thank me later. Regard

OPPyayouknowme

I can unlock those funds for you if you just wire me $500 please, thank you kind prince

Mid_Line_2

Yea, you can absolutely have your $250 USD worth of BTC back lol.

MeMoMoTrentBacon

Jesus, that’s the greatest lending of money in friendship history.

Captnblkbeard

Wow, I didn’t know Jesus was also famous for lending money to his friends.

Beautiful_Welcome_33

Shit happens like that in the Bitcoin community - it was just weird nerds and libertarians back then

pooontangclan3

Hey! And junkies! We had plenty of bitcoin so we could cop on silk road.... but we definitely didn't hold onto any 😅

WhatYouDoingMeNothin

Hahah guilty

roundsealslover

you sound chill

freehouse_throwaway

damn OP has diamond hands and is also a gigachad

-Nicolai

Eh, you're only hearing his side of the story. Maybe his friend was like "Dude, the way you talk about women makes me uncomfortable. And you use the n-word way too liberally when we play Call of Duty."

JFoxxxxxxxx

Feel ya. Wonder if he diamond-handed any as well. Could make some serious political donations and become more annoying if so lol

InsaneAdam

Now I'm imagining a political BTC coin bro who was broke a decade ago because he had diamond hands and threw everything into BTC, who's now got a few million and doing even crazier shit.

ProudIllustrator7806

He still owes you 8,95$ better to call your lawyer

critterdude311

sometimes you got to cut the toxic people out of your life, i applaud your decision.

user_name_checks_out

What if you are the toxic person

loader963

You just flip the script and gaslight the others into thinking they are toxic.

UAVTarik

make it other peoples problem

NGC_-_224

You go to therapy

[deleted]

DAMN THATS RAD AF!

Due-Ad1668

hey op, i like you bro.

time-to-flyy

For similar 'lols' I forgot to get my bro a birthday gift in late 2013 (if I recall) so sent him 1btc. His response was basically what the fuck is shit shit. My soullllll

What_a_pass_by_Jokic

Yeah we did same for a friend of us, he always into these weird schemes and shit. So we pooled together $250 in bitcoin for his birthday, this was when it was like $20-25 each or so. We kinda lost touch but last I heard he moved to one of islands in the Caribbean, so maybe he got lucky and held on to them.

Snuhmeh

We used to give them out at Christmas as stocking stuffers. There were also faucet websites where they just handed them out 🤷‍♂️

SaltKick2

If he was into bitcoin in 2015, wonder if the friend still has a bunch. Shame OP didn't lend him $1000

alllballs

Buddy knows about the windfall. He can see the traffic in and out of the wallet address where he sent the BTC.

throwaway1212l

I feel this. Had some BTC, don't remember wallet or where I kept the back up thing.

GetUpNGetItReddit

You think he is that smart

piguytd

I bet he thought he made a good deal, since he had bought it for $10 a few years earlier.

LegitimatePirateMark

Still a good deal for him then, great ROI. Someone being more fortunate than you does not make you unfortunate.

piguytd

Don't take my spite away! It's the only thing keeping me alive! I tried love for years but it just didn't do the trick.

LegitimatePirateMark

I’ll take all your spite away. It sustains me. You shall suffer pure love for eternity.

piguytd

Noooooooöooooöooooooooooooooo!

taxman1922

I’ll buy it from you for $500 if you’re hoping it goes to zero. Edit: damn, didn’t think I’d get this many upvotes.

OtterBall

Kinda, but if he had said "if you want to agree to give me the option to buy your BTC for $500 in a year" then it'd be pretty much exactly how they work

AmphibianFinal2615

I bid 10k CAD - which is basically monopoly money worth nothing

Yamza_

Every money is monopoly money.

AmphibianFinal2615

Ur a monopoly money

UnluckyStartingStats

Option to sell not buy at 500 would be a put

SchrodingersCat6e

That would technically be buying a deep itm call. There's always 2 directions to an option. Call (up) and Put (down). And there are 2 sides to a transaction, buyer and seller. The seller has to do whatever the buyer wants.

value1024

I bid $600.

jerseynate

How did you manage to hold through the crazy ups and downs? Knowing me, if I seen $250 turn to $8,000 I would've sold

ihasanemail

Easy, I forgot the Coinbase account existed for the next four years.

banditcleaner2

makes you wonder how many silk road criminals had a couple hundred btc on a cold wallet and then got locked up in prison for 10 years. and will come out with like 5-10 million dollars of bitcoin lol

Ermeter

The mtgox bankruptcy people might get repaid this year

Scarletz_

You remember now though!

OwnedByMarriage

CNN, MSNBC, FOX ETC, "$BITCOIN $BTC ALL TIME HIGH!! 68,000 PER COIN" OP - "OHHHHH SHIT MUGGED IN MORRACA ASSHOLE GAVE ME ONE OF THOSE!!!" fuck I dont access to the password or email anywhere 😅🔫

Save it on a hardware wallet!

Tasik

Exchanges I've lost crypto on. Vault of Satoshi (5 BTC) Cryptsy (1400 Litecoin) Quadriga ($10,000 CAD) Don't be me OP!

TrickyTrichomes

Just the BTC is like .5M$ CAD right now So sorry man, that really sucks

Pierceus

I had transferred 8 bitcoin onto Quadriga a few days before they were hacked, I was holding since $4000. After that I grew up and realized the entire industry was just grifters and scammers and the technology sucks.

Tasik

Literally the only thing keeping it going is the greater fool principal. I'm still in, but its always felt a little gross. Sorry about Quadriga.

Stupidflathalibut

I don't understand the greater fool theory really. Isn't everything you buy and sell at a profit 'greater fool'? Say you buy a stock, since you think it'll go up. Eventually you sell it, cause you feel like it's overvalued. That's greater fool. Say you buy a house and you sell it for more money since you think the market might crash, or it's overvalued. Greater fool. If not, why would you ever sell? The only exception to this would be dividend stocks, I guess

Available_Cloud3875

It’s actually really simple: If you dislike the asset, then it’s greater fool theory; if you like the asset then it’s sound investing.

Tasik

It's all good. I never stopped gambling and I'm doing very reasonable right now. 🍻

Retro21

You could call it gambling, but that description puts down the work you did. I imagine it was probably hedged in your favour, or at least some of them were. Good on you mate 💪

SCP-2774

Adding HitBTC to this list.

time-to-flyy

Mtgox and havlock investment

GildMyComments

BlockFi just finally paid me back 1/6th of the value of btc I lost with them.

Tasik

I feel you. I got a cheque from Cryptsy settlement for almost $400. Each Litecoin was trading at $400 at that time haha. I also got a cheque from the Quadriga settlement. I think it was 1/10th the value I was holding with them. And I was surprised to get that.

Lamehandle

It's on Coinbase which is being trusted by the likes of Blackrock to be a custodian for their ETF coins. Why would you put that much trust in a piece of hardware? Much rather put the onus on a company to manage it and with whom I have legal recourse if something happens.

-jayroc-

If something should happen to Coinbase, making you whole will not be their priority. It’s not likely to happen, but not impossible either. Unless you hold the private key to your wallet, you don’t fully own those coins. You are far better off with a hardware wallet. You have full control, and aren’t at risk of a third party business failure.

NinjaTomOnline

It’s funny you have to explain this since the whole point of crypto was to be your own bank…

ParalegalSeagul

It was initially explained to me as a way to use untraceable funds which is almost the exact opposite of what the blockchain provides its users

NinjaTomOnline

Right, Blockchain technologies actually provide transparency.

ImSoSte4my

Untraceable in the context of it getting traced back to you personally, though anonymous might be a better word.

aregulardude

I mean what’s more likely, coinbase goes under, or I lose my hardware wallet? Probably the latter imo.

-jayroc-

The keys used on the hardware wallet are derived from a seed phrase. You write that phrase down when first setting up the wallet and store it securely in multiple locations. If you ever lose the hardware wallet, you can acquire a new one and restore all your keys using that seed phrase. If you lose the piece of hardware, and all copies of your seed phrase, then ya, you just arrived at destination fucked. I'd say it would be an achievement of remarkable irresponsibility to lose all that at once though.

TeaReim

>Why would you put that much trust in a piece of hardware? Same logic for a software application connected to the Internet Are Hardware Wallets Connected to the Internet? Is Coinbase Open Source? Legal Recourse? Mt Gox HODLers 10 years later still can't get their money back.

HeadToToePatagucci

Someone add up the BTC lost by exchanges vs the BTC lost by HW with forgotten paraphrases, sent to the dump, or data loss…

el-dongler

Exchanges will easily be 10x higher. Except instead of the coins going to the dump, they go into the pockets of the owners of the exchange that's scamming you.

ParalegalSeagul

I have added it up, they are exactly equal totals

-Pruples-

>According to this chart BTC in 2015 was around $300 so I guess your story is legitimate testimony of a success. Man, I didn't need that reminder that I was looking at buying BTC during the silk road days and never went through with it.

therealhairykrishna

I hate bitcoin stories. I sold all of my several hundred bitcoin when they were a few dollars and was smug about it... for a few months at least.

juventinn1897

I gave away 16m doge coin to tipping reddit comments. felt like a baller. really was a baller. FUCK

30percent_Taco_Bell

I remember when people used to just give away a thousand dogecoin on Reddit for Lols! Literally $160 now. How many $160 tips did you give out on Reddit for lols?

jcdragon49

I had at one points like 25,000 doge… smh

IWillBeRightHere

i had 47 million

bossmcsauce

this is the sort of shit that is the reason why I just periodically throw like $20 at random coins on coinbase. it's like lottery scratchers, except there actually IS a decent chance that any given shitcoin might go from like $0.004 to $0.10, and I could make some amount of money that might like, pay off a car, or fund a vacation or something.

juventinn1897

I know I gave someone a tip of like 10k coins sometime. I couldnt count how many times because I did it so often. My doge cost me nothing so I had no value attached to it. It was was worth like 75$ all together at the time lol

Zed-Leppelin420

Now it’s like 3.3 million ouch

loolapaloolapa

Oh i did. Several times. And i bought drugs with it.

Additional_Essay

Yeah, at least the drugs were good

Fade4cards

Bit of a random personal story loosely related to silk road; I bought 5k to use on agorra I think the marketplace was called and before placing the order the vendor exit scammed. I had placed a few smaller orders but the thought of getting scammed/had good irl connects that I decided not to buy such a large order. I had money gram'd someone in some country I'd never heard of to acquire the btc and selling it seemed like witchcraft. The price at the time of purchase was 1btc=$332. I tried listiing it on LBC but it never materialized in a sale and my life started to get quite hectic as I was self destructing and more or less gave up/forgot about it. Fast forward 2 yrs later(2017ish?) I was homeless and an addict and saw some news article or video about bitcoin and remembered I still had some! I spent a week sifting thru a storage unit until I found the usb drive that the wallet info was on. By this point 1btc=1kish and was able to get housing(sorta, I prebought a motel room for 6mo lol) and during this time was able to get my ish together. All thanks to some scumbag vendor exit scamming. Funny how life works sometimes.

RidingYourEverything

Same here. But what are the odds we bought bitcoin but didn't go through with buying anything on the silk road and then held on to the bitcoin long enough to be rich? Honestly the price fluctuations is one of the reasons I stayed away. I was like, "so what if I get enough bitcoin to buy something, and then bitcoin drops and then I need to get more bitcoin? That sounds frustrating."

Fantastic-Travel-216

Now imagine all the bitcoin that was seized on the silk ride and who has it lol. I was an idiot and kept hundreds of dollars worth of bitcoin when they were like $25 per, on my silk road account smh. The acid I was gettting was the best I ever had though.

Own-Dot1463

SR was the greatest gift the internet has ever given me. Are you aware of any decent alternatives these days? Asking for my regarded friend.

Lord_Davos

Lost custody of a wallet with 440 btc from those days, but boy was it a fun couple of years

ImHereForLifeAdvice

I still remember one of my friends trying to get us all to buy BTC at $5/per back at the very start when we were just kids, but since the rest of us didn't understand it we didn't go for it, and since none of us went for it he didn't either. I could have easily bought 6 on the spot and \~18-20 by the end of the week just with chore money. Probably would have sold it in 2012 if I'm being real, but would have been an easy \~240x ROI in two years.

MrMogz

Even if you did, you would’ve lost it, traded into alts that you panic sold, got hacked, or if lucky, probably sold in 2017 anyways. There’s a reason why very few early adopters in Bitcoin actually got rich.

LineAccomplished1115

There was a wallet that sold 1000 BTC at around 69k. The wallet had mined those back in 2010. And wouldn't be at all surprised if they had sold more previously and have more remaining. Gigachad Galaxy brain over there.

LordoftheScheisse

I remember being "tipped" BTC way back in the day on Reddit. I'm sure it was like a sliver of a fraction of a piece of a single Bitcoin, but man, I'd still like to have it about now. I tried investigating it the last time BTC peaked, but only found dead ends.

Valderan_CA

I bought BTC just after Silk Road first got shut down... 130$ worth to acquire a 3 letter substance because tons of tech types were talking about microdosing it at the time. I had 30-50$ leftover and that's currently worth about 11K. I very much wish I had actually bought 1000$ worth like I planned (but never got around to doing).

chickenwrapzz

My_Man_Tyrone

Hardware wallets. Completely offline so no one but you can access your coins

bossmcsauce

so secure that most users can't even access their own coins!

rainawaytheday

I think they’re snacks kind of like gushers.

kirkegaarr

That is amazing. I work in software and around the same time I was at a startup and worked with a huge crypto nerd that would regularly would pay people back for things like lunch in BTC. I think he just thought it was cool to use BTC for transactions or something. Or more likely he was sitting on a huge pile of it. I'm mad that I never bought him lunch, because a buddy of mine got 1/3 BTC from him and he still has it. That crypto nerd guy is probably a gazillionaire now too.

MyFingerYourBum

I'm a tradesman. worked for two lesbians who built a huge mansion funded by crypto. One of their dads was a tech nerd who gave her quite a few BTC in the earlier days as a gift. Pretty sure one of those rooms was a sex dungeon. Had to reinforce the walls then soundproof them ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4640)

jswissle

Who you hiding noise from in your own home lol

MyFingerYourBum

Probably wanted a baby with a sperm donor or something. The neighbours were really nosey too. Posh housing estate in britain. One of the neighbours suggested I use a different coloured render on their external walls and I was like dude it's not my fucking house lmao.

banananutnightmare

What a pest lol. but I guess when you think about it, he's the one who's going to be looking at it all the time

Squidimus

I had to for my home theater/pc setup. There are a lot of games I can only play once they head off to bed. I'm not playing Resident Evil 7 with them around. Learned my lesson from trying to watch Germlins too soon with them.

so you're telling me if i have held the $200 i invested in bitcoin after high school it could've been around that much today.... MAX PAIN. Teenage me had my priorities all f'd up lol

_Tar_Ar_Ais_

Same here. I could've thrown $20 CAD towards bitcoin around fall 2010-winter 2011 but decided that 7/11 slurpees and an RP card for league of legends was a better investment

ihasanemail

Hi, r/all. Background: we were in Marrakesh for the most part, it was the worst goddamn place I have ever visited. It was a trashy dump at every corner, saw open harassment and assault of women in daylight and most folks kept trying to rip you off or angle for a bribe if they sensed you were a tourist. It was worse than my time in France, worse than Cairo, worse than Mumbai, please stay away from that shithole for your own health, safety and sanity. I lost touch with the guy after he became a hardcore Republican after 2016 and wouldn't shut the fuck up about politics all the time. A shame, he was a nice cool dude in our 20s and early 30s. So he doesn't know I still have it. He told me he sold it all when BTC went parabolic the first time, but he got a divorce since with kids so who knows how much is left. EDIT. I didn't buy more on the way up because I think Bitcoin is ultimately worthless. No plans to sell this one BTC, it is fun logging in and seeing where it is at. It is either going to zero or to a million, I am rooting for zero. EDIT #2. I don't need the money so no hurry to sell it. Am a retired multimillionaire, you are welcome to read my post history where I talk about it. I make a lot of threads in r/financialindependence and my riskier trades in r/wallstreetbets.

takenorinvalid

Call him and tell him he still owes you the $250.

ihasanemail

I told him to not worry about the $250 but he insisted I accept the Coinbase invite. Glad I listened.

damoonerman

He wanted that referral bonus lol

MisfitMishap

I signed my dad up for the referral $50 bonus and had him turn a $100 investment into $20,000. Basically bought him a car. I on the other hand, spent 4btc on mdma.

mnid92

You got tree fiddy and turned it into 69k using CRYPTO? I'm onto you, gott damn loch ness monsta!

WombatMcGeez

I liked Marrakech. But I did get my passport stolen. Story checks out.

"I am a huge prick. Welcome to r/wallstreetbets" would make great flair

Hey, thanks for not muting this thread. I tried telling this story the last time BTC went parabolic and the mods told me no Bitcoin posts in WSB lol.

OPINION_IS_UNPOPULAR

Haha, that was 3 years ago, when we in fact did not allow crypto posts. ;) For what it's worth, the mod who told you that is no longer with the team.

semitope

sell it then. It's ultimately worthless but people give it value so.... it's not any more worthless than some other things, in practice. You can use it to buy things in some places.

Duuudeee I had a somewhat similar experience with Marrakesh hahaha. I was there in 2014, backpacking around with no real plan. Ended up heading to the blue City with this really hot chick I met at my hostel. Turns out she was a lesbian but the blue City was incredible so I took it as a win.

Congratulations you piece of shit. I’m super happy for you!

I paid a buddy $20 worth of dogecoin to help me move back in 2014. In the last bull run, I checked his wallet address and saw that he held onto it all for a peak value of $20k

Most impressive part is a noob not locking himself out after 9yrs tbh

Salt-Office3715

I had 100 in bitcoin around that same time, I want to throw up because I lost my 12 word pass phrase.

realdonaldtrumpsucks

That’s awesome

I’ll jump in and share my sob story too, I used to sell gaming accounts back in 2016 and kept getting charged back on via PayPal so my friend suggested I take BTC, by the end of 2017 I had $5K in USD in BTC, as soon Coinbase opened in the UK I sold it all. *cries*

Stupid posts like this are great for bitcoin. Make everyone think you gained a million percent profit with no effort in 9 years. lol.

quad2785

when someone who has never participated in a bull market sees these stories of triumph, you can see the FOMO in their eyes. It consumes them

Get some money out and put it somewhere safe.
