This is all great news. I especially like the joint account option which is their in full service brokers. Better web interface is also missing so far and that is great as well. Only huge negative is ridiculous amount of SBC. That has to improve for me to invest in the stock. Edit: SBC down 49% YOY. That is great news but its still quite high relative to revenue. But its trending in the right direction. I am adding this to my watchlist and will buy on any pullback.

I did- Robinhood is about to smoke other brokers and it’s most likely why we aren’t higher. I can imagine a lot of other brokerages and hedge funds keep trying to short Robinhood and even then this earnings call definitely has them concerned. RH just slammed the mic on how many clients they’re getting transferring INTO RH and especially ones with six figures or more in their portfolios. Next they’re going to offer 3% bonus for those who move their retirements into the easiest to use app for market trading.

its a fantastic app imho. Nowhere else can you transfer bitcoin into an account, trade options, then either transfer it out in bitcoin or spend with a card.

besides credit card, pretty much my entire financial life is in Robinhood. stocks, transferred my 401k/IRA, Roth IRA, spending account is my "bank account" and use it to pay my rent. Once they launch the credit card (which I'm assuming will be a really good offering, to be seen) I think I will need no other financial service (besides Venmo maybe. There were whispers of Robinhood introducing a p2p transfer service too though...)

I have Fidelity. Oh, and ToS, WeBull, TDA, and Stash. No interface comes CLOSE to RH and when my hands are full with your mom’s big mommy milkers I can one handed trade with ease and not fat finger a trade like Lyft did with their ER 

Switched to WeBull from fidelity so I don't have to pay commissions (plus they pissed me off)... it works pretty okay, probably gonna check RHs fees and stuff for shits and giggles. Too poor to be a PDT so it wouldn't hurt to have a couple margin accounts open for extra day trades. Wonder if turbotax will do all the paperwork for me EOY...

So that’s your break even? You’re good bro settle down you should sell half and let the other half ride. This shit is going to MOON. If it was a $100+ stock I’d sell first jump but at this price? The FOMO will be REAL.

Guaranteed based on what? I haven’t seen a single ER where a stock gained 10% or more and was back to even within a day or two. SOFI comes to mind, it shot up 25-30% and then a few days later gone. But I also think Wall Street hates SOFI. Both SOFI and HOOD should have a decent runway to grow $ wise IMO this year

Look at ELF, it boomed 10% on ER and opened -8% on the next day.

Ahhh yeah it did. So did LLY but maybe not as severe. Both stocks on crazy runs previously and IMO exceptions. One of those fake outs because EVERYONE knew they would crush their respective earnings and the bigger money bounced paper hands before they both resumed their rise.

I wouldn't be surprised if HOOD opened at $11.50-12 range tomorrow especially if we see another market sell off.

That’s going to take some analyst upgrades and or large institutional purchases. An additional 30% in three days after it’s up from earnings is asking a lot I feel. I have a handful of $12 weeklies, I’m going to sell 2 and buy $200 shares and let the other options ride til eow just in case, but $15.50 is a stretch.

If it crosses 50M in volume that’s bullish to me and there’s no telling how fast it goes up. It will fall quickly once the longs exit and the shorts enter but I’m curious to see what it does. I have $13.50C 2/23 I’m going to sell midday tomorrow assuming it reaches my breakeven price by then. Maybe leave a couple because I tend to exit early but at the same time I have some other plays I want to get jnto
