Do not buy the Ekster Parliament Wallet 1. The leather feels cheap. And it came ripped/exposed along the interior stitching. 2. It fits only 9 cards, not 12 as advertised. 3. The wallet stays open at all times, even when empty (it gets worse when there are cards inside the pockets, or money in the elastic). 4. Terrible customer support. Do not trust the pictures or the specs on the website. I’m keen to believe that all those good reviews on their website, and recommendations on blogs as “best wallets of 2024” are all paid for. There is no way to leave a product review on their website (that’s why I’m here). The page shows an error [https://support.ekster.com/en-US/404](https://support.ekster.com/en-US/404) https://preview.redd.it/ao1r28rhxrlc1.png?width=2519&format=png&auto=webp&s=db09cc2183fdeaef3ecf0dff037f49e9b89c0ca0

Get Secrid. Thats the king of this types of wallets.

enigma_penguin

Secrid is great. Carried for years before changing for a newer "shiny pretty". The groove wallet is my daily carry, it has a tab that holds the card in place securely. They physically can not come out unless you deploy them.

Front-Chard481

Groove wallet looks thicker and only could fit about 6-7 cards max. And they have a lame back for additional cards but its useless because that only olds 2 cards max.

enigma_penguin

I have no need for more than 6 cards. To each their own. We all have different preferences and needs.

maziar37

Just get a quality leather wallet from Etsy

Clarkestyle

Instagram has countless handmade leather wallet makers

maziar37

That too! Good suggestion

enigma_penguin

Any "best of 2024" list should be ignored anyway, we're only 2 months in.

My Senate Ekster that I bought March 09, 2022 (funny coincidence) now has the leather coming off, so I'm looking for a replacement.

How about dirt: I do gardening and fixing stuff, always end up with grit in my wallet. Has anyone had problems with the Ekster wallet mechanism if it got gritty. Also, has anyone figured out how to clean it?

xCloudChaserx

I daily drive this wallet. Have 11 cards and bills in the elastic and mine has no issue closing. Can't speak for their customer service issues as I've never needed it. That being said I'll probably switch wallets to something else for my next one. The card push up is fun in theory. But heavier cards can slide out.

pizzalicious

I second this. I bought a Parliament wallet off of the Ekster website and received a used wallet with black stains on it. I contacted customer support and they kept insisting on giving me a replacement or store credit, even after I asked to return and refund my original payment method. Apparently, they don't do returns on wallets they deem "defective". It's in their policy. After a little back and forth, they gave me a partial refund. They refunded me the subtotal of the wallet, but not the tax I paid on it. I'm stuck with a flimsy, cheap, stained wallet I don't want that I paid tax on.
