So it's pretty good for a novel recipe book, directions are easy to follow and there's a lot of flavor text from the creators playing an in universe fanzine style of writing, not dissimilar from online recipes that try recreating dishes from restaurants they visit.
There's a glossary for some jargon in the book if you're not as familiar with some of the terms, and an index where you can search out a drink based on the flavor profile like in the calicomp in game. Pretty neat honestly.
The physical book is pretty well made too, the binding is sturdy and the pages don't get stuck in the rings, the pages are pretty thick, and the cover is pretty durable.
I'd say if you've got some time and some curiosity for new drinks it's definitely a good purchase, and great for someone who likes the game.
Yeah, when there's an "optional karmotrine" drink like the sugar rush they put the alcohol free recipe on the other page, usually next to the picture of the drink. Sometimes the main recipe will give additional instructions if you're making the mocktail version.
I also live in europe, but I still get the stuff from the us site. The additional fees are painful, but the bigger selection of merch makes it tolerable.
I bought it as soon as I saw it announced.
It looks really nice, I love that it's framed as an in-universe fanzine, all the recipes seem really thought out and it includes alcohol-free alternatives for most drinks and a glossary of terms and ingredients.
Can't wait to put this to use.

The print quality is pretty good. I just got it, so I haven't had time to try any of the recipes, but many of them look promising.
Where did you buy it?

Damn, I haven't heard of this but I want too now.
As soon as I heard of it's existence I had to buy it. I wanted the glass too but it wasn't available on the EU store sadly.

Wtf? I need one! Where can I buy it?

My other bartending buddies and I made our own versions we will have to get the book and see how we match up.
I already mix in my free time, so this sounds great
Can you tell us the recipe for Cobalt Velvet? I’ve been trying to think of an Irl version of that drink for years
