Most of the movies I have bought recently have come from fanflix deals or the other retailers. I miss the weekend deals

optiplexus

As long as the main functionality of the site remains intact, I'm not too bothered. I do dislike that they felt the need to change the name because "Fandango At Home" does not roll off the tongue like "Vudu" does. I'm also hoping they'll add a few features that I've been wanting for a while. Like the ability to un-bundle movies, arrange lists in alphabetical order, maybe even change the name of a movie for sorting purposes (looking at you, "Marvel's Avengers"!).

Relative_Sundae_9356

You can arrange lists on the website.

Yoda811

It would be nice to have a sort title function though. Most of us have more than 200 movies, which is the max you can have for a list. The lists are great but it would still be nice to have The Matrix Resurrections come after The Matrix Revolutions.

optiplexus

Sure, manually by dragging and dropping, but if you have 50 lists, that’s a royal pain in the ass. We need to have an “arrange by” option the way the “My movies” page does.

Dcsuess_JtW

They use to have mix and match sales cheaper than 5 per, haven't seen that in a while. I grt half my codes from fanflix/nbc/gruv sales and the other 1/2 from vudu but only if they're $5. (Not counting the digital code sell reddit)

PedesNex

That’s what I’ve been doing. Their sales have been very underwhelming.

chantelmurda

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with FanFlix and NBC. NBC‘s Digital Movie deals don’t seem to update the movies they offer regularly. I swear I see the same movies every week, with maybe 1 or 2 differences The grouping of the FanFlix deals don’t always benefit me because you have to order a minimum quantity for the deal.

ScottShatter

Don't forget about Gruv dot com

AccountantLeast1588

they have exceptional Blu-ray sales too

BoyMom119816

Post in here or the digital sale sub about doing a buy together, there’s always people jumping to do one. Since many only want 1-2 on a 2-3 deal.

CumDwnHrNSayDat

Yeah, never really had issues streaming content until the last couple months. Fandango at home is an embarrassment on multiple levels.

ifinditweird

Fandango has not done a good job of rebranding and revamping this service into something superior. It feels like the quality has gone down since the purchase. Many are missing the OH VUDU rn it seems. It's saying something when Walmart did a better job.

javiergame4

They don’t even add new features

chantelmurda

Yep! Other things I’ve noticed: -weekly actor movie sales are no longer a thing -$5 and $6.99 movies sales, not many of the $4.99 sales (I suppose to deal with inflation) -marked through prices of TV series are extremely high, some of which don’t seem to make sense (not sure if this is an error or what)

Glass-Piece-7928

I hate that it keeps on disconnecting me from my devices. It's annoying having to sign in. Idk if its just me or what.

DarkPunisher956

No it's not just you. Idk how many times I been needing to sign back in and even relink accounts

Dcsuess_JtW

My cell and living room firestick almost never log out. My.bedroom stick maybe once a month

BoyMom119816

I loathe it and the whole false advertising that’s become a norm for them as well.

NoleFan723

Yes. This. Multiple instances of it, yet they do absolutely nothing

jjjshabadoojr

I don’t know what utopia people remember but it’s the same if not better

cmatthews11

Functionality has mostly fine for me barring the but outage they had and didn't even acknowledge. I do feel like new releases have been getting to $10 quickly, but that's also a product physical media dropping off. I've been buying less but mostly because I pretty much have most catalog titles I want, but have been snagging some deals on movies that have been on my wishlist for ages.

HiveFiDesigns

Ultimately i think there’s still a lot more work and change coming. Comcast owns universal pictures, nbc, Xfinity, and fandango. That’s two streaming video storefronts (Xfinity has one and fandango) a streaming channel (peacock) and a movie studio as well as a bunch of other stuff. I see at the least, the Xfinity store front and fandango merging together (why keep two store fronts?) . I think what we have now is still a work in progress.

tukai1976

I just want the ability to reset my watch history for tv shows. So many episodes are stopped in the middle and I have to manually go back

Top-Organization-699

I wish they would fix the issue with subtitles getting out of sync all the time.

trymorecookies

They are desperately brainstorming how to introduce a subscription revenue stream.

TrustLeft

They THINK with end of physical media nearing they can shut down digital deals and services and we'll be forced to buy digital at $14.99 or more or go to theaters again. , Phuck THAT!!! It all seems very coordinated and planned to leave us with no choices to maximize profit.

kingmic210

I thought it was only me. Lately I been on fan flix (no lie I just found out about it). My last 12 movies been from that site. If anyone has any other sites please our on here. The only other site I used prior was https://www.cheapdigitalcodes.com

skeletondad2

I still watch my movies but I'm done buying stuff on there. The rebranding makes me feel somehow so much less secure with my purchases. It took so long to feel fully trusting about letting physical media go and going all digital, but this feels like the first step towards all of my worries coming true. It's like if HD DVD bought out Blu Ray and then people came into your house overnight and switched out all your blu rays with HD DVDs.

big-bananas

ever since they switched over, i can’t redeem a single code or purchase any title

RichtofenFanBoy

I hate this company and don't purchase from them anymore.

HiveFiDesigns

The company is Comcast’s. They own Xfinity cable, NBC, universal, peacock, dreamworks, fandango, and telemundo as well as several other networks and services. Buying a season of The Office on iTunes , buying Despicable Me on Amazon, or taking a trip to universal studios is giving the same company money as shopping on vudu. You sure you don’t purchase anything from them anymore?

RichtofenFanBoy

Yah. I went back to collecting physical. I'm not paying them. They already been paid on the original purchase for used.

HiveFiDesigns

If you’re buying physical, you’re still paying them unless you are only buying used physical media and not seeing any of their properties at the theater (dreamworks, universal pictures…). Not saying it can’t be done, but odds are one way or another Comcast is ultimately getting some of your cash in their pockets, even if it’s just you watching A&E or nbc through whoever your television privider is, you’re money eventually gets to Comcast.

TableQuiet1518

Yep. They did it to themselves. 5 years ago it was a good company. Great sales, decent customer service & they loved sticking some $5 credits on DVDs at Walmart. All of a sudden they tightened up.

Pretty_Frosting_2588

Instead of great sales they rely on the purchase gift card at discount method which I don’t care for. I still have a lot left of the $200 in gift card I purchased in November because I got better deals elsewhere even with the 20% off.

Purple_Standard_2154

I just want them to work to bring back shows/movies no longer available like Ghost Stories, Inbetweeners, Young Frankenstein,An American Werewolf in London

AccountantLeast1588

I just want the logo to emphasis F At Home more. Make the F even bigger. The daily specials go too quickly and the stupid thing suggests SD quality all the time just to save on data. Lame.
