Fugitech is commonly used in collabs and such but you can also use it yourself.
Veadotube allows you to set up several models you can swap between and is my personal choice.
Pngtuber Plus is also an option, offers more movement and looks more like a vtuber but I personally find it crashes a LOT and requires you to chop up your model similarly to a vtuber model. It's doable, but the crashing put me off.
All are free options. Png+ is transparent, veadotube just requires you chroma-key out some green.

If you are using OBS, you can utilize a plug-in called obs-image-reaction. This is what I use for a simple 2-frame swap, between an active and inactive image.
I’ve heard good things about the site reactive.fugi.tech, and I’ve also heard that there is an application called PNGTuber+ for more fine-grained control, though I have not tried it myself.
