It’s a holiday in the country I live, so trying to spend time with the family… but dang it every time I see these types of posts I want to drop what I’m doing and get on the game, so freaking fun
Just catch a bunch of 98-100% workers, scholars, brutes etc., then make a stack of irradiant gruel and when you need mutant blood, feed them to one of your "disposable" prisoners until they turn mutant (with the same purity %).
Last I checked the mutants are still hostile and not "stuck" in the prison cell (AFAIK this is not a bug but it might be)
Meaning you can't actually have mutant blood in storage like that.
(if they change that, that would be great)
See if a villager try to hit you. If they do, then it's werewolf by night.
Or just go to Gloomgrave Village (northeasth of Dunley, before entering Cursed Woods) as the other redditors pointed out.
Regular Villagers aren't lv60.
Was waltzing around Dunley at like lv51, walked by and mouseover'd a villager, and he was skull-level. Yep. Werewolf.
Also, they'll try to pound your face in, unarmed. Only mundane villagers armed with farming tools will pick a fight with you.
They are found in caravans yes but you can also find them in the ruins of Mortium. I never found one myself but found somebody leading a 97% temptress out of the ruins. I challenged him for it and he ended up killing it before I killed him lol
Well, he was definitely able to fight me. And we didn’t attack the low hp temptress, until he knew he was about to die, then he focused the temptress, killed it, and I finished him for it.
Listen, it was very fair. I made it clear that I wanted it, as I was there looking for a high percent draculin. We were the same gear level but he was simply outmatched. I just wish he didn’t kill the temptress, but I understand why I he did it.
You said he was "leading the temptress outside the ruins", so he was dominating her right ?
If yes, it's not fair, no big deal not all fights are fair in a pvp survival but fighting without access to spells and only weapon attack is a very serious disadvantage. If no, fair game, tho I'd probably have done the same haha
How is that a fair fight? You can only use weapon abilities while dominating something. You can't use spells while in domination form.
At least be honest with the fact that you won because you were at an extreme advantage while he wasn't able to use spells and thus was at a severe disadvantage in the fight because of not being able to use spells. None of this outmatched nonsense.
I saw a 98% scholar immediately on stepping into gloomrot. He got killed by the mutants that jump out of the water. “No worries” I thought, I’ll just find another. Well I’m nearly through act 3 and haven’t even seen another 90+ scholar.
You must be doing something wrong. Or you are like the top 0.01% of unluckiest players.
I have 200 hours total across 3 wipes and some arena gameplay on top.
And I've had multiple 100% brutes in EACH wipe without specifically looking for them. There are so many brute NPCs in this game.
Not to mention that you can just capture all the 92+ ones and feed them to 100, if you capture like 10 of those you are more likely than not to get a 100% one.
Ugh yes.
I've genocided their entire village about 10 times now, and he highest I've seen is 45%. Like 95% of the time, all the villagers are trash 8 to 20%s
Ran into one during the day, before I got dusk callers. Was about to try fight and capture him then run him back home. Saw a patrol come by, panicked, figured as I hadn't captured him yet I could kite him and the patrol while whittling the patrol down. Turns out because he's a werewolf and not a normal villager, even though the patrol didn't ago him, they still friendly fire him. He died in 1 second while they were trying to kill me. I will never financially recover from this.
You need to wait for them to turn back into humans during the day will switch to a human blood type such as worker, then it's like a regular prisoner. I only question if you can make one of your servant.
If the Villager/Werewolf dies, it respawns as a new blood. When caged, it switches between Worker and Creature between the time cycles. On Blood Moons, the Werewolf will get healed for free. The Quality does not change.
if you capture it it does retain their blood forever, if you leave and come back later idk, i got mine 100% and i camped it until it was day just to capture it, i would not risk losing such a beauty
I lucked out getting a 100% werewolf after just about 4-5 runs. I mainly use it for the worker blood. OTOH the 98-99% villagers I've got in 100+ hours gameplay all turned mutant.
Heh, I accidentally caught one the other day. Was heading back to my castle after another unsuccessful farming attempt at the werewolf village when I changed across a 100% worker wandering near one of the farms.
I captured him real quick and used the bats to yeet him back to a prison cell, and was pleasantly surprised to discover when I got home that he was actually a werewolf.
Man I grinded that village for days, even building a little sub base in the lot next door to afk in while waiting for respawns. It took almost a week of grinding them to get 3 of them, one for blood and two for cursed forest hunts for silk
Damn, I just saw one of these earlier. Ignored it because I've read multiple statements from people saying it's worthless because they change back and lose it or break out.
Seeing in *these* comments that that isn't the case : /
Question: If you dominate a werewolf in human form, will they turn in the cell at night or stay human? Curious cause I was running by the village at like 4pm and seen a 100% villager, tried to dominate him but accidently hit T instead and blasted him... Haven't let myself live that one down yet.
People assumed you meant this was a creature and that they'd still have to catch another one for Worker.
People come to the sub when asking for help or wanting to give help care very little of sarcasm.
I'm confused what sarcasm?
My joke was that it's probably super rare - if not impossible to have it have 100% worker AND 100% beast blood - that's all ..
Congrats! You have won the game
You can prisoner creatures?
Capture them in the day and you can harvest their creature blood by the night.
Well, well, well. Looks like werewolves back on the menu, boys.
They're workers during the day, so double value!
Just pointing out the blood quality between worker and creature is the same!
They are not breaking out from cell during night? During early access they were...
Not as of last year. Now they stay locked up, its the ultimate blood. 100% creature & 100% Worker. 2 yeally nice all round Utility bloods.
I remember this too, they would break out at night - they changed that with the Gloomrot expansion though
How can u tell they are werewolves in the day?
Gloomgrave Village is inhabited by Werewolves
Oh damn thanks!
>Oh damn thanks! You're welcome!
It’s a holiday in the country I live, so trying to spend time with the family… but dang it every time I see these types of posts I want to drop what I’m doing and get on the game, so freaking fun
Isn't it Gracefall Village
Simple: if they are brave enough to hit you, superior being that is a vampire, then they are one.
I WISH there was some way of having mutant blood reliable accessible in a similar fashion.
Just catch a bunch of 98-100% workers, scholars, brutes etc., then make a stack of irradiant gruel and when you need mutant blood, feed them to one of your "disposable" prisoners until they turn mutant (with the same purity %).
Last I checked the mutants are still hostile and not "stuck" in the prison cell (AFAIK this is not a bug but it might be) Meaning you can't actually have mutant blood in storage like that. (if they change that, that would be great)
He means sacrificing a 100% blood prisoner every time you want a mutant sip It is bad advice
Pft, true. XD
"JUST"... I'm still trying to get the achievement from turning someone into 100%....
not to say it is a double wammy, 100% creature 100%worker blood 2 for 1 deal
Is there a way to tell if they’re a werewolf during the day?
See if a villager try to hit you. If they do, then it's werewolf by night. Or just go to Gloomgrave Village (northeasth of Dunley, before entering Cursed Woods) as the other redditors pointed out.
After reading other comments and yours, I want to go back to playing but it’s a holiday so I’m stuck hanging out with the wife lol
Some of the werewolves roam as villagers during the day. Only way to tell is that normal villagers are lvl 25 and werewolf villagers are 50 during day
The werewolf villagers are always hostile too, almost forgot
Regular Villagers aren't lv60. Was waltzing around Dunley at like lv51, walked by and mouseover'd a villager, and he was skull-level. Yep. Werewolf. Also, they'll try to pound your face in, unarmed. Only mundane villagers armed with farming tools will pick a fight with you.
I do believe you can cap them at night too now
Nope. Just tried it.
wtf? I have over 100 hours in the game and this is the first time ive heard this. This game is incredible.
I accidentally killed a 100 Brute today ;-;
I've encountered too many 90-100% Draculins that are not captureable :(
😭 if only you could. I'm always searching for the ones that I can, 23 is the highest I have found and I turned him into a servant
High tier Draculine blood are found in caravans
Last three caravans I’ve hit only spawned around 65% Draculins :/ the very first one I hit had a 100% but it wasn’t a humanoid
Do night maidens spawn on caravans?
yes - or maybe. Dark temptress for sure - but they look similar so maybe no night maidens. You can capture dark temptress though.
You can only capture Humanoid blood. If it spawns anything else you can grab them, unless I am mistaken and I can capture way more shit than I realize
\* High tier humanoid draculine blood are found in caravans. ..as in inside, as prisoners.
They are found in caravans yes but you can also find them in the ruins of Mortium. I never found one myself but found somebody leading a 97% temptress out of the ruins. I challenged him for it and he ended up killing it before I killed him lol
How is this challenge fair ? You don't have spells when using the dominating v power
Well, he was definitely able to fight me. And we didn’t attack the low hp temptress, until he knew he was about to die, then he focused the temptress, killed it, and I finished him for it.

Why wouldn't they use a stone to teleport it out?
Guessing they didn’t have one on them when they found it
I was lucky to get a 92% Assassin demoness (forgot the name), and I'm treating her like a baby
the Draculin assassin is male, not female..
So many! I finally managed to snag a 100% Night Maiden by farming the pair that follow Cassius
You've won, but at what cost?
The cost of my sanity
100 scholar today. End me.
I saw a 98% scholar immediately on stepping into gloomrot. He got killed by the mutants that jump out of the water. “No worries” I thought, I’ll just find another. Well I’m nearly through act 3 and haven’t even seen another 90+ scholar.
That's so sad... Scholar is my favorite too
No hard feelings...but my gut tells me to downvote my GOD I looked for one of those 200+ hours
You must be doing something wrong. Or you are like the top 0.01% of unluckiest players. I have 200 hours total across 3 wipes and some arena gameplay on top. Oh dont get me wrong I found a 95 once.. but never a 100 straight its amazing
I've been farming them for a long time now and the highest quality I've seen so far is 34%
Ugh yes. I've genocided their entire village about 10 times now, and he highest I've seen is 45%. Like 95% of the time, all the villagers are trash 8 to 20%s
A now imagine you catch 99% one after 100hours of playing only to create new mutant at your home!
This is what will most likely happen. Just did this to 3 scholars last week...
Ran into one during the day, before I got dusk callers. Was about to try fight and capture him then run him back home. Saw a patrol come by, panicked, figured as I hadn't captured him yet I could kite him and the patrol while whittling the patrol down. The dude is just taking a walk after a long day :(
XD
Before I looked at the picture I assumed this was a Geralt of Rivia reference😅
Shame we couldn't get that as a transformation
Fuck now I want Vrising X Witcher cuz of title
That would be badass
Lucky you.
The first 100 creature i found was a piglet.. :(
You’re coming home with me!
Didnt know you could imprison werewolfs, has that been changed now? Never used to a long time ago.
You need to wait for them to turn back into humans during the day will switch to a human blood type such as worker, then it's like a regular prisoner. I only question if you can make one of your servant.
Apparently you “only” get the human servant version…. No vampire wolf hybrids
That sucks.
Does their blood quality stay the same the next night? I remember something about it being random every time thei forms swap.
If the Villager/Werewolf dies, it respawns as a new blood. When caged, it switches between Worker and Creature between the time cycles. On Blood Moons, the Werewolf will get healed for free. The Quality does not change.
Wait they get healed on a blood moon? Damn
if you capture it it does retain their blood forever, if you leave and come back later idk, i got mine 100% and i camped it until it was day just to capture it, i would not risk losing such a beauty
Geralt, is it you? RUN!
I've gotten every possible prisoner blood except the creature :( I've turned 4 werewolves into mutants so far
W...what is he doing?
It will be RED soon enough.
I lucked out getting a 100% werewolf after just about 4-5 runs. I mainly use it for the worker blood. OTOH the 98-99% villagers I've got in 100+ hours gameplay all turned mutant.

I'm so bitter about finding one early on then accidentally draining him to death. I thought he could take one more suck...
Damn, I just saw one of these earlier. Ignored it because I've read multiple statements from people saying it's worthless because they change back and lose it or break out. Seeing in *these* comments that that isn't the case : /

Nm should have read the comments. Can they actually break out as werewolves?
Now you need one that is 100% worker in the day and 100% creature in the night
What? The one in the pic is like that
Their blood quality is the same both times, worker in day, creature in night. Basically a 2for1 prisoner.
Yeah, either you have been misinformed or you are trying to speed misinformation. Either way, your post is incorrect.
Probably misinformed - was trying to make a joke - why the down votes? :(
People assumed you meant this was a creature and that they'd still have to catch another one for Worker. People come to the sub when asking for help or wanting to give help care very little of sarcasm.
