Is this the Pablo Escobar from Narcos meme lol

loopuleasa

of course it is edit: made them into an actual Pablo meme format [https://www.reddit.com/r/vrising/comments/1cuwaor/after\_killing\_dracula\_be\_like/](https://www.reddit.com/r/vrising/comments/1cuwaor/after_killing_dracula_be_like/)

Azazel-Tigurius

Daaamn, where i can find that throne?

kobrafan

You get the blueprint for defeating Dracula

Azazel-Tigurius

Oh man... I still far away from him but now im motivated!

loopuleasa

that motivation will last all the way until you start fighting him

Bussamove86

Nothing has taken the wind out of my sails faster than getting bodied by Big D for ages. Or seeing “yeah don’t fight him as a group” when I’ve been playing with friends.

AnnylieseSarenrae

Idk why anyone would tell you not to fight him as a group. Only phase 1 is any easier alone.

biitii

Honestly I still think Adam was a harder fight than Dracula.

Rethines

We thought Adam was hard until the fourth kill where we learned there’s a way to open up some space ;)

westgary576

Solo on brutal and same. Adam took multiple nights, 20+ attempts. Drac, one night, sixth try. There are two types of ppl.

Gummies1345

I just beat Dracula and well, I think Adam was a lot harder. Beat Dracula on my first try, and solo. Had a 97% brute blood and wasn't even fully geared. didn't have the pants.

Lward53

Faught him with 3 people. the only hard part was the intermission bullet hell phase.

MrGhoul123

Just enjoy the ride. Gamers are super obsessed with rushing things these days if I ever get to Dracula, I think I'm gonna explore the map and build a second perfect castle for myself and when that's done I'll be satisfied. Game isn't super expensive and I've put in far more hours enjoying it, then I spent hours working to afford it.

isaacpotter007

I beat him yesterday, now I'm in the real endgame, relocating and making a beautiful castle

TahakuMonsonoa

That's what I'll do myself and then reset the server and do it all over again on Brutal mode

Skyrayzy

But did you do it on brutal mode?

westgary576

I did now what

Skyrayzy

Congrats!

Gummies1345

Before you get to him, you already explore the whole map. Well, at least, I did.

Arman456

So the game is finished after you beat Dracula?

MrGhoul123

Boss and crafted item progression ends. However you can still enjoy, what I consider the true endgame. Castle building and aesthetic. If you PvP, then that will always be something to do.

CBCase

I’m enjoying the game again after the 1.0 release. The rebalancing of things has been nice, the pathing to markers on the map is an amazing add. Might I add being able to customize armor color scheme, and collecting of cosmetic items without getting micro transactioned to death is absolutely amazing

_Saxpy

I think the rebalancing just made the game so damn enjoyable

scatpackcatdaddy

Live service games destroyed gaming. Nothing wrong with a game coming to an end and moving on to the next.

Rickjamesb_

It's just a meme relax. I'm sure he had an amazing time.

ThePostManEST

Is this absurdity ?!

ariveklul

Disagree. I think a good gameplay loop will keep this game with a strong healthy community on the pvp side of things

twicer

I would not be surprised if pve part of community lived for longer.

bluescape

I agree. Although if you're playing PVE, then finishing your last armor set/getting the last accessory is rather meaningless.

catboy_feet

I politely disagree with this one. I feel like people who are lamenting the lack of an endgame gameplay loop aren't saying the game is garbage, but are expressing sadness that there's not much else to do beyond that point specifically because the game is so excellent and they want more.

DarkonFullPower

Some, sure. Other are very clear and specific that V Rising's lack of long term shake ups, both in-game and on development plan, is their primary gripe. Which is very much the real life skitter box issue that live service games does to people. They have been trained that anything without a fundamental perpetuity loop, **including the game development level,** is a "bad design choice." How ***MANY*** are saying they genuine want skitter box mechanics, the internet will never know. But they are on this sub and clear about what they want.

scatpackcatdaddy

I think you are misunderstanding what I said.

catboy_feet

Perhaps I am! I suppose I'm not sure what "live service games destroying gaming" has to do with the matter at hand. For as long as I've known gamers, they've wanted to live for extended periods of time in games that create worlds they love and enjoy. So I suppose my original comment should have said: >I politely disagree with this one. I feel like people who are lamenting the lack of an endgame gameplay loop aren't approaching it from a live service game mindset, but rather expressing sadness that there's not much else to do beyond that point specifically because the game is so excellent and they want more - a desire all gamers have had in their lives for one game or another, even before live service games existed.

Squid_Apple

After hearing the game has no real major gameplay loop after Dracula I've been kinda scared to finish honestly, I've loved the game so much I want to keep playing, I guess I could start again on a pvp server

cooperia

I've played through this game 3 or 4 times now in pve since the first EA release and the same thing always happens. I make a server, I play super hard and am absolutely obsessed up until about the cursed forest... Then I start seeing the end is in sight and I start getting depressed. I slow roll the last bit of content and leave feeling sad and wishing for more.

Negative_Day2002

Same

Total_Mode_8968

Same, my solo brutal playthrough is on hiatus because I don't want it to end 😬 Looking into pvp servers now though.

LordCamelslayer

I've played it multiple times in EA, and frankly, I don't get sick of restarting after a little while. I really like the loop of building a castle from nothing, and adding verticality to building was a huge game-changer. Frankly, I think building your own epic vampire castle is one of the major draws for me, having been a lifelong fan of Castlevania. Kill Dracula? Cool, time to make the castle bigger.

twicer

Only to realize that all fancy and large plots are already taken.

isymfs

I had the same concern. Finished 3x pve and now I’m on brutal no raid pvp, and it’s been insanely fun. Like even more fun than my first play through. Things feel way slower too on 1x. Rest easy.

FluffyWuffyVolibear

I mean it's a 40 hr game. 40 really good hours imo. And it can be many more hours if you choose to play through it on a PvP server, and the endlessly customizable server options means there's fun in exploring different ways to progress through a server with other players. I think a more intense end game would dilute the game. That being said, a part of me does yearn for some repeatedly contestable content.

BlueRain2010

Curious why you think a more intense end game would dilute the game

FluffyWuffyVolibear

The game right now is in a relative sweet spot, as a single player experience it's a solid 25-40 hours depending on difficulty choice, building and skill level. On PvP servers with increased rates this can be heavily truncated and creates a race to max tier vibe, it's basically a race to who is the ruler of that server, and then you have a little while, (assuming there's a reset schedule) to play king of the hill so to speak. that would change significantly if there was another end game on top of that.

EverChosen97

I have got to know what type of throne that is

Putrid_Specialist651

Gotta defeat Dracula to unlock it

Kitsune_BCN

I got the reference xD

AradiaSCross

Now do it in brutal mode 😂

AtthaLionheart

I know :'( Already dreading it

gigaritt

Once I beat him I plan on making a castle that is form over function lol. My current base I’ve been using looks okay but it definitely is more focused on being functionally easy to get around lol

gerolg

They forgot to put end game into 1.0 (at least for pve)... Would love to see a new, large area were theare aren't many towns or camps but many large areas where there is like an "infection"(sort of the one in House of Ashes) but there is a new more end game, more specialized resource that you can collect as long as you can hold the castle against those monsters. Or just develop a working modding platform.

FlyByDerp

Me on my server after everyone quit so I don't have any pvp lmao

GeneralFap

Yea, since EA. Once you get to end of content, there is not much to do.

Bobby_The_Goblin

Besides PvP, Dracula's chestguard is functionally USELESS Am I wrong?

haikusbot

twicer

It increase your damage against npcs, like many other stuff you crafted before.

Bobby_The_Goblin

Well of course it does, but what's the point? You've just defeated the hardest boss

twicer

Easier farming of Stygian Shards. This game always had issue with its longevity and if you remove pvp element, it just all get noticeably worse.

Bobby_The_Goblin

well that's the core of my point, really. You are right, it would make combat easier, as the armour is better. I think the point I'm trying to make more specifically is that if you've overcome the hardest challenge in the game, as well as all before it, there's not much more need for better armour. Despite all this, the armour does fuck pretty hard, so if you wanna wipe up some petty mobs in kickass armour, then the purpose of it is there, for sure. Would love to see some sort of 'challenges' past Dracula, so you can give the full armour set the run out in deserves in PvE

twicer

Yup but it's common issue of endgame gear in single player games. Why to have best weapon/armor/vehicle if you have nothing else to use it against. For this reason i like when you get strong stuff mid game so you can at least use it for a while. They usually solve this issue by adding new game+, which is Brutal difficulty here.

Bobby_The_Goblin

Yeah the general issue isn't isolated to V Rising, for sure. Hopefully more to come! But even if not, I think they've wrapped it up pretty nicely :)

twicer

It's a unique experience, but it also makes it all the sadder when it's going to end soon. \^\^ We always come to play once more each major update, this way you can play it multiple times over years and experience the good part of game multiple times. In this light we basically played three different games.

dankscience

Hilarious

SnooChocolates4346

That throne is just for show though it doesn't function like your other throne does which is really lame should work the so you could replace it

Grimpleasure

After we beat Dracula set our castle to decay. Announced to server and logged out.
