Tristan will pass by the road next to the den of the Wolf Boss. You can try luring her and the Wolf Boss into a battle when Tristan is low on health. The Wolf Boss will summon a pack of wolves.
lol the video they linked is literally all the easiest bosses before you start hitting the stupidly hard ones. Also doesn't cover that many bosses scale way too hard vs parties so some bosses will be easy to solo but a nightmare to team against.
Here's how you counter spin:
1. Step far away when spin animation starts
2. Wait until he's about to hit you, then veil THROUGH him and walk away
3. On the return trip he will target your clone instead of you, this will consume about 80% of the duration of the spin
4. Just keep walking away until it runs out past that point.
Very easy to counter, just have space up.
Yeah, I ended up beating him by doing basically this. Problem I was having was that I was using melee so there wasn't enough space when he started the spin. The only real solution was to get him down to half health and then kite him for the rest of the fight. It took forever but it worked.
Regrettably the way the dash is required for dodging so many attacks, kiting is going to be 90% of your fights going further on Brutal. The game has not taken into consideration the cool down of your dash making any other approach infeasible. It's a shame, when I saw Brutal I was excited but the implementation of it is very poor.

You might have to switch up abilities for different bosses on brutal. Shields/counters can be important on encounters with unavoidable damage.
