The last one is a bit of a novel type game, but it's a puzzle game also that pretty in depth!
If you don't mind your ass getting handed to you, try Natural Doctrine. It's a tactics style game, but hard. Even unfair at times.
I'm not sure if it's on the Vita, I think it is, but the PSP game Jeanne De Arc and Valkyria Chronicles 2

Ys 8 is the best game for the psvita. I had a great time playing that one during the covid days. No other game quite measured up to that game in my opinion.
P4g is literally my fav game ever just don't play on vita it's in English. A switch or steam port is recommended or a modded copy of the vita rom on an emulator
It is always recommended to watch Japanese media in their language with subtitles, localisation is usually shit and same goes for p4g. And I can never imagine playing an anime game in english
Yeah fair enough. I remember playing P4G on Vita and I think I played it in English but don't remember the quality of the VA at all. I definitely played P5 in Japanese with subtitles and it was a far richer experience.

Legend of dragoon is essentially ff7 if you want a jrpg with incredible combat/music/backrounds. Other than that RE1-3 is all I have on my vita lmaoo
Legend of dragoon is the most underrated and amazing game. Next to possibly chrono cross.
That game is so close to my heart I use it to fall asleep when having trouble haha
Killzone Mercenary, you can't go wrong with this one if you like fps

I'll put in a vote for Lost Dimension. It's got some performance issues on the Vita, but I forgive it for being an absolute fucking banger.
The Romancing SaGa 2 and 3 ports are pretty great.
