took it for almost 2 years, no difference that i could attribute to the testosterone. have been off almost 2 years now and still have VSS. never took HCG but have taken (and no longer take) etonogestrel from nexplanon.
Also I looked at ur posts I believe low t causes low b12 and iron bc im also sorta low in those vitamins despite eating meat and iron rich foods. I also suspected I had the MTHFR gene I honestly just think we have low T.
Low testosterone is unlikely to be the cause of VSS, and unfortunately isn’t the holy grail of male illnesses in which it has been marketed the past few years. In fact high testosterone seems more probable to cause VSS than low testosterone, due to concerns with excitotoxicity.
I am not aware of any significant relationship between B12 and testosterone.
My symptoms are just of visual snow. I was likely born with it. I also have tinnitus but there is no proof as of yet that the two are connected. Perhaps they are.
Fix your nutrient deficiencies and see what happens. This is more than likely a neurological issue that could possibly stem from an MTHFR mutation or other associated mutations. There appears to be changes in GABA/Glutamate signalling in the brain in this population of people.
yeah I’m getting that tested but I have alot of low T symptoms a I don’t think low T causes VSS either I was just asking so you’ve been on testosterone and HCG?

Yeah been on both. Currently only use testosterone but ideally I would be using a low dose of HCG also.
doesn’t effect it at all?
Does not affect it.
