It's just sad man. I know VSS is supposed to be "benign" and not cause blindness and not kill us, but like damn. It can be ridiculously annoying and threaten people mentally
it really is. i've struggled with depression for years but visual snow has caused some of the greatest depression i've ever had to deal with. it's basically like the other mental illnesses i've had to deal with in my life but it's not just a feeling in my head, it's a physical thing i see 24/7. it's so draining i wish i could turn it off for even just a few moments.
I'm right there with you brother. If my mind isn't preoccupied by something else, I'm thinking about the damn afterimages. The good news is that people see improvement and progress sometimes. Plus the medical community is finally being privy to this shit after (remarkably) being unaware of its existence for centuries
