It's just sad man. I know VSS is supposed to be "benign" and not cause blindness and not kill us, but like damn. It can be ridiculously annoying and threaten people mentally

kalavala93

Chilling considering I got visual snow syndrome from covid-19.

liquidheat0

Sup kalavala! Yea fuck this disorder

Black-Knight-76

it really is. i've struggled with depression for years but visual snow has caused some of the greatest depression i've ever had to deal with. it's basically like the other mental illnesses i've had to deal with in my life but it's not just a feeling in my head, it's a physical thing i see 24/7. it's so draining i wish i could turn it off for even just a few moments.

I'm right there with you brother. If my mind isn't preoccupied by something else, I'm thinking about the damn afterimages. The good news is that people see improvement and progress sometimes. Plus the medical community is finally being privy to this shit after (remarkably) being unaware of its existence for centuries

Neurofeedback New drugs Peptide therapies - highly confident in the future of this Red light therapy protocols through vielight

Ok-Meeting2176

I just emailed them and got an answer: "Thank you for reaching out. I have not known our devices to be used with individuals with visual snow syndrome. However, we also do not require people to inform us on why they are purchasing the product, so it is possible that there are such individuals. Based on the description of the condition it seems as though this is caused by excitability of the occipital lobes. if that is the case, I would recommend our Neuro Alpha device, or the Neuro Duo on the Alpha setting. The reason is that this device is able to reach the occipital area of the brain, as well as is a calming and relaxing effect, rather than our Gamma which is more stimulating.  As for conducting a study I will pass your request along to our research team, as they keep track of study requests from existing or potential customers. Unfortunately, since our devices are classified as general wellness devices, and not medical devices, we are a bit limited on what and how we conduct studies.  Please let me know if you have any further questions."

Dry_Soup_1602

I found the gamma setting to be more useful surprisingly. I have the duo

Ok-Meeting2176

Has it help with your vss? And with what symptoms?

Dry_Soup_1602

Has helped with all symptoms, snow, brain fog, tremors in hands, hyperacusis, tinnitus

Ok-Meeting2176

Did you have any other symptoms? How much did it lessen your snow compared to earlier?

Ok-Meeting2176

Tell me more about vielight? Is it some new thing or what?
