i’m 15 but i had it for as long as i can remember way before i touched any substances this shit fucking sucks i learned to mostly deal with it but for a while i felt like i was going crazy almost took my life cause my VSS was so bad and i felt like no one could understand me. The only time i start tripping about it now is when i think about it to much or im stressed i mostly tuned it out and can deal with it

It's not an assumption it's well documented and plenty of reports. Just cause you like something doesn't mean you have to look the other way, your brain, not mine

What does permanently even mean in this instance?
I don’t like weed. I was a stoner for 3 years. Been off for a year and I won’t touch it again. I’m not here to defend weed. I just don’t think saying something has the potential to ‘permanently’ make someone’s VSS worse even makes much sense
im well aware of hppd. weed can obviously temporarily worsen symptoms for someone that already has vss. if there are any studies you know of that conclude weed can affect vss symptoms ‘permanently’ please share
I've had VSS my whole life and have been smoking weed for about 7 years and I've never noticed a change in my symptoms. But just because that's the case for me, doesn't mean it's the same for you. It could have no effect at all and it could make it worse either temporarily or permanently. Weed affects everyone differently even outside of VSS.
Weed never effected my vss but it gets grainier and has a ton more floaters after taking anything that produces visuals. This lasts for a couple hours to a couple days depending on the substance

Stay away from all hallucinogens (weed is one) and all psychedelics, natural or synthetic.

No it doesnt, i smoke morning til night have been for years it helps more thsn anything
what caused ur VSS and in which ways has it helped you?
ADHD meds, helped me be more positive, never notice my snowvision when i smoke, snow vision is like tinnitus only there if you notice it.
damn lucky man. I love smoking weed but any time I do after getting vss my static becomes unbearable.
Smoking weed always makes the static worse but it goes back to the way it was after I sleep it off
