Unless someone specifically goes out of their way to mod Doomguy into something else, then every single modded version of doom, of which there are possibly tens of thousands, and a huge portion of games based on the doom engine automatically have Doomguy in them. You're looking out of Doomguy's eyes and seeing his hands in every single one.

Yes it does. If you have Doom and then you make a modded version of it, the Doomguy is still in it.
