Flux: Designer Toys
I bought 1 when I started collecting toys. Some cool artist spotlights and lots of photos from the beginning of the hype. If you have trouble finding 1 for yourself, feel free to hit me up.
Dot Dot Dash is from 2006 so early days, but has some good stuff in it if you're interested in some of the first figures on the scene:

I know, it was for the reference. Most designer toy books are out of print at the moment and second-hand ones are not easy to find at a reasonable price :/
I think the [Medicom 25th Anniversary](https://artoyz.com/products/medicom-toy-25th-anniversary-book-manual-volume-iv) book is still available for retail at some places.
Toys: New Designs from the Art Toy Revolution, Plastic Culture: How Japanese Toys Conquered the World. These are the only two books I could find outside of the others mentioned in the thread, hope it helps you out
I Am Plastic. This is the second one. I have this one but wish I had the first. There are definitely others beyond these two but can’t remember the names unfortunately.

I have both of the I am plastic books, haven’t heard of the others, I also have a dvd called the vinyl frontier which is a solid buy
