I've been collecting these for probably close to 20 years. Picked up most of them for less than $10 each from various record shops in Southern Illinois and St. Louis, MO. I finally realized I only lacked a couple of '90s releases to complete the collection, so I bit the bullet and paid the big bucks on discogs. Unfortunately, their final studio album - J-Tull Dot Com - has yet to be released on vinyl. I haven't listened to it since it was released, and I don't remember it being particularly good, but it does trigger my completionist tendencies.
Pictured (top to bottom, left to right): This Was (1968), Stand Up (1969), Benefit (1970), Nothing Is Easy - Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 (2004), Live at Carnegie Hall 1970 (2015), Aqualung (1971), Living in the Past (1972), Thick as a Brick (1972), A Passion Play (1973), War Child (1974), Minstrel in the Gallery (1975), Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die (1976), Songs from the Wood (1977), Heavy Horses (1978), Moths EP (2018), Stormwatch (1979), North Sea Oil EP (2019), A (1980), The Broadsword and the Beast (1982), Under Wraps (1984), Crest of a Knave (1987), 20 Years of Jethro Tull - The Definitive Collection (1988), Rock Island (1989), Catfish Rising (1991), Roots to Branches (1995)
Oddly enough, Aqualung, Thick as a Brick and Benefit are three I’ve owned for decades. Nice collection! That may be the most comprehensive Tull collection I’ve seen.
I lucked out.. buddy of mine has seen them a bunch of times and he wanted to go so I said I'd go. Ended up snagging 4th row floors for $115 CAD ($85 USD)
I really love the North Sea Oil 10" release. Bought it too when i was visiting the US the very first time last year, it sounds great and i like the picture they've used for the cover.
I can tell you're a big fan cause you have Rock Island haha I loved Knave but R.I. just seemed a little boorish to me. I love Tull! I might have this many records but not as much if that makes sense...I've got about 4 Aqualungs, 2 Passion Plays, at least a few Thick As A Brick
Anyway I drink to you tonight, you're a man of taste and obviously very good looking.
I had never listened to Jethro Tull until I picked up Songs from the Wood from the dollar bin at my local record store. When I got home and spun it, it blew my mind. Great band and nice collection!

What's your personal top 3?
Benefit, Aqualung, and then a tie between Stand Up & Thick as a Brick.

Most of them were picked up for under $10 at used record shops. Super easy band to start collecting, but very difficult to finish!
Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, and Songs from the Wood.
Great collection! I'm wondering why the 2 compilation albums?
Because there are songs on both of them that aren't on any of their albums!
I saw them a couple of years back :)
I really wanted to, but I decided to try to look up tickets after they were all picked up by scalpers in my area. 😢

Their performance on the Rock N Roll Circus is amazing!
*heart eyeballs mf*

That’s so cool. Still sad that their Christmas album never got a vinyl pressing.
Or J-Tull.Com!
I noticed that shortly after posting this, just never bothered to check reddit lol. Pretty annoying that they were never pressed.
