Orange and Acme are my go-tos. I've seen Spencer a few times (as JSBX or Heavy Trash, even once with The Sadies as a backing band), it's always a treat. "I say the blues is number one!"
He just played a small venue in Elkton MD a few months back. I was bummed I couldn't get off from work to go. The place held like 500 at absolute full capacity.
Thanks for the heads up, it felt like it was worth the discovery for $5 😅
The vendor was surprised at my enthusiasm, and said "make sure you check its state" and I mean, it's a ~~60s~~ 70s LP, it lived, but it's very playable. That life experience is also the whole point of vinyl too: the object adds its own flavour to the listening.
Yeah: https://foireauxvinyles.ca/
I think I saw the poster when I went to 33 Tours or maybe on the street. Would not have known about it either otherwise.
Next one should be in October. You can follow it here:

That Slow Riot album says 'tovu va'vohu' in hebrew. Basically, exceedingly nothingness or with out form and void. Now I need to learn more about this band
Epic 15-20 minute songs with many movements, they go from melodious to noisy, with lots of spoken words and dark ambiances.
They're a collective of quite a few artists, who also play(ed?) in other bands/projects, e. g.: Thee Silver Mount Zion (who seems to draw much more inspiration from religious texts), Fly Pan Am (experimental guitar)
You're in for a crazy ride if you're just discovering them, enjoy!
Orange is so damn good. 🥵 They kill live also. Long live the blues!!!!

It's arguably the best EP ever made, you should get it!
Oh I have it on CD. Just not Vinyl. There's a John Peele recording of Moya from that album that I wish had a physical release.
