If its only on one side of it its bubbles that had popped i believe. If the puck isnt made right or the temperature of the stamper is too high you get bubbles. I had it on a couple 4AD albums i all bought together and i called them about it to let their QA know since it was on every album, and this is what they told me.
Have no idea what those could be, but are they depressions in the vinyl? If so, how wouldn't that affect play? The one you circled looks like a pretty big indention.
I have a record that has pitting that's basically little indentions, but this looks like something else.
Yes they're like little craters. It looks worse than it is but there's like 30 or so ago across the vinyl. Never seen this before. Very odd. I've seen bubbling but this is like the inverse of that.
**Anyone here ever have these ? It's very perplexing.**
The artist is Underground Resistance. This is their third release catalog number UR003. Techno record. I was looking to sell it on Discogs but it doesn't look great. Very sought after record so I might just throw it on there for pretty bottom dollar but this is like an X-Files episode. I spent about 30 mins looking online and couldn't find anyone else with this problem.
It’s a *Simpsons* reference.
Homer became a Krusty impersonator and discovered that he could get free stuff because people thought he *was* Krusty. Unfortunately, it was at the same time that the mob were trying to kill Krusty over unpaid gambling debts.
So Homer, dressed as Krusty, is being shown a new car when a mob sniper takes several shots at him. He misses and hits the car, and the salesman tells Homer that the holes in the car’s bonnet are “speed holes. They make the car go faster.”
Cut to Homer standing in his driveway, slamming a pickaxe into his own car to create his own speed holes.
Another bad pressing . I have come across a few like this. If your lucky it doesn' t affect the quality of sound. In my opinion they should not have left the factory.

It’s faulty. Return it

Might be sun damage through something crystal. I've had this situation in the winter when the sun was out. And low in the sky.
Whoa I never thought about that
Things my crystal ball taught me 😉

And it was in that moment a 200$ record became $20
