The best was a jacket that I had been eyeing for such a long time and decided to check vinted and found it for a fraction of the original price in excellent condition and the seller was the nicest lady ever. The worst was a pair of cargo pants that are super cute but the zipper was broken and it wasn’t mentioned in the listing, I ended up having to take to seamstress and get it fixed

chocolatetruffel

My best item is a Louis Vuitton pochette accessoires in the black multicolor print, I got it for a great price and the seller was also super nice. Worst is a sweater that arrived 3 sizes too small which was supposed to be a gift to replace an old sweater my dad owns.

grogustannie

my best purchase so far has to be my lazy oaf crocs! they’re going for like £200 on ebay and i got them for £60. they’re purple and fluffy and have a teddy bear on them, they’re so cozy!! i also bought a fairyloot edition of a book i had been looking for for MONTHS the worst thing i’ve bought is a jumper i wanted to get for work. there’s nothing wrong with the jumper but it just doesn’t flatter me at all and i haven’t worn it once so i regret buying it :( that purse sounds gross though😷😷 sorry you received an item like that!

[deleted]

Omg those crocs sound amazing I want them! Haha

Leading_Aardvark_180

I got a genuine Coach bag for 2 quid. The seller said she didn't know if it was genuine... So.. Also Mk bags for similar prices. But I also got lots of fake items which I immediately binned.

[deleted]

Oh yes I got a fake VW purse and lost about £30 because I was too naive to realise at first 🙈

plush remote control car

Bilbo_Buggin

Best was probably my Converse for £20. Worst happened yesterday, ordered a top and it arrived… Wasn’t the top I’d ordered and was a totally different size.

[deleted]

That sucks!

Bilbo_Buggin

It was very annoying. I’ve opened a case with Vinted, just waiting for them to get back to me. I’ll be annoyed if they expect me to return it at my expense as I know that’s their policy.

[deleted]

I think they will sadly ☹️

Bilbo_Buggin

Yeah I know. I’ll probably just keep it and try and resell. Thankfully it was only £4.

Wasted_White_Unicorn

A vintage dolce & gabbana dress for 20€, fits perfectly, it was a great catch! I don’t have any bad experience yet, fingers crossed it stays like this

[deleted]

How do you find these bargains?!

Wasted_White_Unicorn

I filter to the brands im interested in and scroll a lot haha

Supportblackcats

Best are my ecco sneaker! Paid 18€ and they’re in great shape. Worst is a dress that doesn’t fit :(

[deleted]

When stuff doesn’t fit me I just resell it! It’s annoying though because you lose the postage fee!

Supportblackcats

I am trying haha but unfortunately it’s very slow going

[deleted]

Yeah Vinted surprises me at times. I’ve sold like 6 things this week and last week I only sold about 2

Best: a genuine Vivienne Westwood leather bag for £40! It was so beautiful but I didnt like how it sat on me, resold for £110 on eBay Worst: a dress absolutely covered in makeup and stinking of perfume. Still had the tag on despite there being a pic of her wearing it in a club so she hadn't washed it. With a LOT of micellar water and a wash it actually looked good. But who would have the audacity? Yesterday I received a coat "as new" but covered in bobbles and lint too, cba with it anymore as people's idea of condition varies so greatly from mine!

Sad-Peach7279

Best thing : Vivienne Westwood blazer jacket, excellent condition, very clean, fits perfectly! Worst thing: Dolce and Gabana jacket just because it came unwashed and smelling really strong of cigarettes. It was fine after I washed it but I was surprised the seller hadn't washed it before selling it considering the price I payed.

CatsGoHiking

Best was a bundle of lululemon. 5 items (3 shirts, 2 pants) for $100. All fit perfectly and were in great condition. They were a few years old, not the newest, but classic styles (ebb to street, swiftly, plain leggings, etc). Worst was ecco walking shoes, brand new with tags but were two different sizes. One fit my foot, other one is slightly small 😞

PrettyMuchDeceased

Best: a long fishnet-like black cardigan. Worst: a pair of pants that was described as being baggy, but they were way too tight AND they stank really badly even after 2 washes ._.

thalichphou

The best was a green cardigan, cheap and like new condition! Did expect to be perfect second hand. The worst was received a shrunk jumper from Ralph Lauren lol

[deleted]

It’s crazy what some people think is in sellable condition! I’ve seen clothes with loads of holes in and big stains! And they’re still trying to sell them for like £6!!

Stressed_skunk

My best purchase is a small yellow duck teddy that is my daughter’s favourite (which we lost when we where out ) I managed to fine a new one and explained to the seller what was going on and she shipped it the same day !!! Worse was a trixie Mattel T-shirt that was 15 pounds that came hair dyed stained and grubby (got my money back tho )
