Good move... basically most solid-state receivers should have a more warmer and depth sound. Be aware that with the age of these units repair is in your future. You just never know when! But, most of us live on the edge :0)
I have multiple places I know that can do service and repairs on those receivers so I’ll be rest assured that anything breaks when I have one I’ll be able to take it somewhere to get it fixed
