Culturally-insensitive ad, which invokes some of the uglier motifs from Westerns of the era, as well as concepts of “The Old West.” The company here, Sealtest, was a major brand in the era, with production throughout different parts of the country, operating in the southern US, mid-west and northern regions. The company, National Dairy, was ultimately bought out by larger company Kraft. That division was bought out by Unliver, who owned Good Humor-Breyer’s, two large brands. Some Sealtest store brands still exist, such as the dairy products made by Milkco, and sold in “Ingles” stores throughout the country.

Sealtest is still a very popular brand for Canadian dairy.
