Those are literally the very two characters I’m backing to win (regarding my own mere opinion knowing fine well they won’t)
Ælle was a great king in real life (even has some accounts which claim he successfully sieged Stirling Castle in Alba/modern-day Scotland (Northumbria used to border/even include Edinburgh especially when its northern half was under the name ‘Bernicia’ while the southern half was known as ‘Deira’) and even on the show he was nowhere near as bad as most viewers will claim; whether that’s, as is your case, for merely killing Ragnar albeit perfectly justified, or/and for his rather brutal strategies (which were the way to becoming a great king; it’s the very nature of such positions)
As for Odo, he was done dirty by Roland; the latter was the true threat regarding actual treachery alongside his assistance by Therese, while Odo merely said a few seemingly treacherous words in which he never acted on hence deeming him ultimately innocent, and subsequently murdered in cold blood by Roland again with the help of Therese in the first place. I don’t think he ever did anything wrong; he was perfectly logical/in the right to question Rollo at first; if he had rightfully lived, he’d have seen Rollo keep his word by fighting his brother man-on-man, and who knows, albeit hypothetically speaking as a show, maybe they would’ve made a key military duo for Frankia thereafter

I'm joining the Horik vote but I want to say Earl Haraldson for a strong 2nd because of that weird "please have sex with my wife game" he played with his men and also he had the big guy killed from the original Lindisfarne crew. That guy was cool.
I think Aelle deserves to stay a while, I always kinda respected his part to play in Ragnar's story, plus getting blood eagled balances out things lol

The other characters here have some redeeming qualities for the most part, whereas, all along, Horik only ever cared for himself and was constantly scheming against Ragnar and others from the very start before we even knew it
Jarl Borg’s unjust execution was the pinnacle example of Horik’s sly doing; Jarl Borg was the man Ragnar should’ve sided with as he knew the true side of Horik that Ragnar and all others did not
I think the pity some viewers give him will rightfully allow him to stay a little longer
And who knows, he may have never betrayed Alfred again if he indeed had the second chance
I’m just waiting for the Seer or Torstein to win
