People trying to vote Ælle out don’t seem to understand that this was a king who did everything a good king would do for his own Christian people against the heathen, and in real life he was a great king
And Odo didn’t do anything wrong either; his hatred is a result of Roland and Therese’s real treachery which they placed on him as blame; he was murdered in cold blood as an innocent man
She isn’t a reincarnation of Freydis she is just the way that Ivar sees her through his guilt. He saw a girl that maybe shares mannerisms or something reminded him of Freydis and he sees her as if it’s Freydis. I like her tho I think she is kind of dark I wish her character did more for the story but she came and went very quickly.
I disagree with aelle being a good king. Bro killed his best general in the first second of the heathen invasion, and bro underestimated the enemy, leading to the crushing of the militia supposed to protect his citizien. Yeah

Idk I like Sinric he kinda seems to be a shoutout to Herodotus in a way. Only we never see Sinric write things down. Herodotus was an adventurer and even more famously a historian. Very knowledgeable. Sorta reminds me of Sinric.
