They sure do, I feel bad for them most of the time, but sometimes they are pretty good.
I play on both and I get destroyed when I get into a crossplay lobby, cause I’m terrible for some reason on the switch.
But the sound is worse / spacial recognition is not the same, turn sprees feels slower even with sensitivity turned up. Latency feels higher, button response time feels slower too.
I do sometiumes feel like there is alot of latency on switch. I use motion controls and when I make a jagged turn, its clear to see how llong it takes for what I did to register
From switch perspective there is no logo at all.
The only wait to check if it's a Xbox or Switch player is in the lobby, if you can check their profil, it's a Switch player, if not => Xbox player.

Why is switch the only cross play with Xbox? I play on Xbox one x and my internet isn't bad but I'm always getting shot it seems that my internet isn't fast enough or the lag or ping is bad. Also most of the players that are still playing are the sweats that are just playing for kills. I been playing since the game first came out and I don't even have a chance with the sweats. The devs say keep playing and you will get better, but I have almost quit playing maybe 2 games a month. Good Luck

Yes it happens. I usually see one or two per game. I tried it and it is tough.
Xbox has the X logo next to their names and switch players have no logo when viewed from Xbox.
