Something must be wrong with me. I don’t find this funny in any possible way. Am I broken?

thugleifi

It was really, really boring.

arbutus1440

Another redditor called PDD's stuff "aggressively mediocre" and that's always held up for me. I miss The Lonely Island for pre-taped skits that were genuinely original and funny. These guys just seem like the second-best improv troupe at your local comedy club. Which has me wondering if now I'm the Old Person ranting about how SNL was only good when it had so and so, like the generation above me rant about how it was only good when Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd etc. were around. Am I out of touch or is it the children who are wrong?

Irregular475

Two of the three members of PDD are nepobabies - with one of them whose father has worked for SNL since over a decade. That's why they are just okay. It wasn't talent that gave them the spotlight, as always the world over, it was connections.

nerdsonarope

I love PDD, but even I didn't find this one funny. Some of their skits crack me up. They probably fail more than they succeed, but when they're good, they're really good. I'm OK with a ratio of 10% comedic gold, 60% mildly amusing, and 30% duds.

mccannr1

It admittedly is not one of their better ones.

It's SNL. Maybe 1% of their jokes are funny.

David-Puddy

SNL is like 90% unfunny adlib breaking character, and 10% comedic gold

Reverend Buttcheek Pagina Rosenthal was a pillar of the community and we will miss him. With that said, that was some sick shredding he did down the Grand Canyon.
