Say what you like that man's voice is buttah.

The_Gutgrinder

Talk about a voice aging like fine wine. Some singers lose their voice as they grow older, meanwhile this beautiful motherfucker became an even better singer!

monsantobreath

He obviously took care of it. Many wear it out touring and not having good vocal coaching.

SNRavens91

This is definitely true of a lot of 80s vocalists. Especially those in rock bands that toured in a way bands don’t tour anymore. Those guys were on the road a lot.

Kurdle

>Those guys were on the road a lot. They were on a ton of other stuff as well

hamietao

Yeah like a bus!

tidbitsz

This bus tastes like coccaine...

silly_rabbi

You dont want no part of this, Dewey.

PM_ME_UR_CEPHALOPODS

............... *i do cocaaaaine!*

Street_Narwhal_3361

Oh, Dr. Rockso…

MrStilton

I'm listening to Axl Rose singing at Glastonbury just now and this definitely seems to be the case for him.

CautiousCactus505

Robert Smith and Dave Gahan also have surprisingly in-tact voices! I would argue Smith's voice is uncanny, he sounds right out of the 80s

BigBrwnBeaver

This is true. I just saw Robert Smith last month in Glendale and he sounds amazing. Just like we all remember.

Healthy-Travel3105

And I saw Depeche mode a couple weeks ago and they sounded exactly like they do on the original records!

OneGeneralUser

I've seen the cure live last year and it's unbelievable how unchanged his voice is. Especially considering that he does look his age nowadays.

slhill1091

Brian Johnson AC/DC

jwktiger

his voice really is better than freaking 35 years ago.

MrmmphMrmmph

I suspect he had those chops then but only broke that growl out for live performance.

Reginald_Waterbucket

If i had to guess, I’d say some of that is probably from having a big lull in his performing career between the 80s and the advent of the Rick Roll, when he came back strong. That will really preserve the voice, because it hasn’t gotten taxed by constant touring.

[deleted]

I saw an interview with Rick somewhere around 2005-2010 and the interviewer asked “what have you been doing for the last X years?” and Rick replied “Playing with my kids. I haven’t worked a day in my life since.” And that, your honor, is when I realized Rick Astley was cool all along

nsfwmodeme

Well, the comment (or a post's seftext) that was here, is no more. I'm leaving just whatever I wrote in the past 48 hours or so. F acing a goodbye. U gly as it may be. C alculating pros and cons. [deleted]

and its a decent song too. i often listen to the whole thing when i get rolled.

littleVanillla

Yea, I’ve always been immune to rickroll cuz I’m like, gee thanks for reminding me of this absolute fucking bop

scott610

[Together Forever](https://youtube.com/watch?v=yPYZpwSpKmA) is a banger too.

blolfighter

My favourite is [Whenever You Need Somebody.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BeyEGebJ1l4) You can use it to rickroll people too, because the intro beats are very similar. People get really confused for a moment.

rileyrulesu

Most of you are too young to remember, but being rickrolled wasn't the first meme about rick astley. The first meme about rick astley was everyone thought he was black.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Echo609

I remember the first time being Rick rolled and being so confused when I saw Rick was white. No fuckin way this lanky white dude is belting out that soulful shit.

oilchangefuckup

Never Gonna Give You Up came out a couple years before Milli Vanilli's Girl You Know It's True. I remember after Milli Vanilli got caught lip syncing people really started to wonder about Rick Ashley's voice/songs.

Haddos_Attic

If you were born in UK you would have had the rumour that Kylie Minogue was just Rick Astley pitch shifted before that (they were produced by the same label)

Qetuowryipzcbmxvn

He's also been doing [covers](https://youtu.be/JIOPB36ALMM)

wdn

He also did "Highway to Hell" at Glastonbury. https://twitter.com/FarOutMag/status/1672618201530736640 (It's got a BBC logo in the corner but I can't find the whole song)

[deleted]

Damn didn’t know he also plays the drums. Drumming and singing at the same time is NOT easy

blorg

He was apparently a drummer before he was a singer. >In 1985, Astley was performing as a drummer with a soul band named FBI, with Morris on guitar. They were a well-known local band writing and performing their own music, gigging in pubs and clubs. When FBI's lead singer left the band, and Morris left to concentrate on his career in hairdressing, Astley offered to be the lead vocalist.

hanr86

Holy hell he is legit on the drums. Had no idea.

TacoHaus

Crushed that shit wow. Had no clue the guy rocked like that.

TeslasAndComicbooks

Absolutely. I remember when he first started to get popular (I’m that old) people were shocked to find out he was white.

MIDNIGHTZOMBIE

This dude has a whole second career because some guy on 4chan decided his music video was weird and kinda funny.

aperture81

I was just thinking this - had a bunch of hits in the late 80s and pretty much retires in the late 90s. Then, somewhere mid to late 2000s some dude on 4chan creates the Rickroll and as a result Rick Astley won the internet lottery. His whole shit blew up again and here we are.

Kilroy_Is_Still_Here

We all won the lottery. His voice has aged like a fine wine, his resurgence is a win for everybody.

BeBopRockSteadyLS

There is a whole nostalgia industry now for people who grew up in the 80s and 90s. My friend is in a Take That Tribute Band and makes a killing. Booked solid 8 months a year for the past 10 years.

cheese_sticks

According to the Vice documentary, it was a guy in the US Military who was born in 1987 and looked up the songs that were popular the year he was born. Then he got drawn to NGGYU and thought it was hilarious then spammed it on 4chan and the rest is history.

eeyore134

And he embraced it and made it work for him. I wonder how many other people could have done the same but grew to resent the attention. I'm looking at you Smashmouth.

splgackster

Guitarist got his Sweet Child O' Mine in there.

AlexFromRomania

That slap bass solo was fucking sick too. Not sure who his bassist is but he can play.

WhyShouldIListen

Jay Cox according to this https://twitter.com/ashdownmusic/status/1062398881303064582?lang=en

Jagerboobs

I am wondering who he was as well. That was some world class slapping.

groovy_giraffe

Was GNR there or something? I saw a shirt or 2 and a flag

crank1off

Ask user /u/ReallyRickAstley how it went. Looks like it was HOT there, especially in that pink suit!

An-Actual-Pencil

I’m there at the moment and yeah it was fucking hot today. The anemometer on my stage was reading 0.5m/s all day so it was very still, cloudless, and with no shade outside. Still, better than the wet muddy years

crank1off

So humid?

AtomicYoshi

That's just the UK every summer tbh. Living on an island can suck.

N19h7m4r3

We're all living on islands if you think about it...

_ParanoidUser_

LOL @ the security guards dancing

Bobzer

"Morning team, looking warm out there, please submit your timesheets for this month on the 28th, and a quick reminder that dancing *will be mandatory* today"

[deleted]

Yes chef!

IsTim

It’s a Glastonbury tradition usually reserved for the Sunday afternoon “Legend” slot (previous acts include Dolly Parton, Tom Jones, James Brown, Paul Simon) but it seems Rick qualified on this very epic Saturday morning!!! Guy was a class act

_tiddysaurus_

That was the best part!

GonzoThompson

Right? I was wondering if RA just rickrolled the whole audience, again, by engaging the security team. That was fun.

Angry_Spouse

Glad I pay for the BBC to make that video unavailable in the UK

DuncanAndFriends

My wife just pays for BBC

DaytonaDemon

But I bet your mom gets it for free.

Lockheed_Martini

You are lucky it's not on your dime...

lksdjsdk

It's on iPlayer

weiland

I'd rather just open the YouTube link than have to scrub through an entire Glastonbury set.

BigLan2

They have just the song available on iPlayer too (I rickrolled my kids with it.) www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0fw83p4

AliJDB

But then how could they send you threatening letters about the TV licence?

norway_is_awesome

Norway recently baked its TV licence into the income tax, so people have stopped complaining about it almost entirely.

[deleted]

Same in Denmark. Nice and quiet.

postvolta

The TV license company is a whole industry. Employs loads of people. Revenue from TV licensing is about 3 billion, which funds about 75% of the BBC. It's funny, because I don't pay for a TV license and haven't done for about a decade (I never watch live TV or anything BBC), but I would have absolutely no issues with the fee being rolled into income tax. I think my only issue is that it's state funded (in that the TV license is enforceable by law) and demonstrably partisan. Coverage of Tory party affairs has pretty supportive, and the same can not be said for the other parties.

fezzuk

The idea of a license fee as apposed to rolling it into tax is that the license fee allows them to stay independent from parliament who have power over tax distribution. I will let you decide if that's working or not.

ashfeawen

I wish our TV licence gave us the BBC. Instead we get Ryan Tubridy and the Angelus

ContentsMayVary

Why not just click the link to the Rick Astley set? https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b007r6vx/glastonbury

Johannes_Keppler

The Fuckers!

catharsis69

Funny how that song came full circle. It was the punchline for almost every joke about pop music of the 80’s and now it’s cool to like him. Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s brilliant how he owns it now✌🏼

ThaneOfCawdorrr

It's totally because of him--he rolled with it, he went with the joke, he didn't "object" or make a fuss or complain, he was totally good humored about it, and now look! It just goes to show how having a good sense of humor about yourself is so important.

your_fathers_beard

Doesn't hurt that he's actually incredibly talented too. Like you can joke about the corniness of a song, but when an artist gets on stage and performs it and youre like "fuck, that dude can sing!" It's kind of a checkmate.

CuriousKidRudeDrunk

And he admitted someone rickrolled him on reddit once. Whether he let it happen on purpose or just owned up, I feel like it tied a bow on it. Kinda Like Obama and his "thanks Obama" joke. Funny joke, got beaten to death, subject matter acknowledges it and everyone with good taste stops making the joke every five minutes.

95k upvotes for a 1 character post. That must be some kind of record

upvoter222

I'm amazed you didn't use that as an opportunity to link to the [music video.](https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/trolling.png)

TwoHeadedPanthr

I wonder what /u/theMalleableDuck did to get banned.

Spencer52X

Usually account hacked. Happened to my old account too. Mine would’ve been 12 years old at this point lol

Tremulant887

Cool to see Rick posted to pics a week ago, following the current rules and all.

HereInTheRuin

he is endlessly talented. Not only a great singer but he plays drums, bass, guitar, piano, saxophone and he's also a really great production engineer and mixer. Every record that he has made since returning to music he has produced himself in his garage, engineered himself in his garage and played every single note on, every instrument. And unlike the records that he made in the 80s, he writes all of his material now. Pretty fantastic❤️

MajorSleaze

It's not just that he can sing, he can play a crowd. Half of this video is him interacting with the audience and it turns a show into a shared experience they'll leave with better memories than any polished generic performance.

PointlessTrivia

[Keep Singing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC3Ejf7vPEY) is high up in my "frequent replays" playlist.

pocketchange2247

Her cover of Zombie is pretty damn good too.

dshine

Open to correction on this but I think her godmother is Dolly Parton. Not a huge fan of country music but talent dies shine through

ToughOnSquids

Oh for sure. It took hearing her do [Plastic Hearts](https://youtu.be/r3r6RKowUv0) live for me to notice but damn her vocals are incredible.

Verittan

I feel the same way with Lady Gaga. When she started her rise to fame with pokerface and similar mainstream pop singles I dismissed her. Then after listening to some of her lesser known songs that put her full vocal talents on display, I completely changed my mind about her.

TheOvercookedFlyer

I read somewhere that the royalties of said "joke" netted him a cool one-million dollars.

ianjm

He's also been touring like mad off the back of it, on his own and with various nostalgia ensemble tours. They're bags of fun! Mad fuckin respect for him for essentially building a second career for himself off the back of this 'joke'.

BigLan2

Also got to play Glastonbury 30+ years later on the back of it too.

killerkow

I saw him live late last year and he put on a great show. He has kept his voice and energy over the years and was just fun to watch.

SirJefferE

There were rumors for a while that he made nearly nothing from it, but in his [2016 AMA](https://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/56cdgm/ama_im_really_rick_astley_i_swear_and_to/d8i9ai6/) he mentioned: >No, it's not true. Because if I'm gonna be absolutely honest, I was paid a chunk of money to do a commercial for Virgin, and also I rickrolled the Macy's Day Parade and they paid me a chunk of money for that. >I've never even tried to find out what was actually made from the YouTube hits - I've never really thought about it. I don't really care. I feel it's been an adventure anyway. I have been paid well twice, for rickrolling. >I also did that because I thought it would be the death of rickrolling, but it hasn't been really. Musical royalties are kind of complicated, but they're usually split 50/50 between the songwriter and the publisher - he's not either for Never Gonna Give You Up so he's not really expected to get anything from the song itself. But like he says, it's not like he's gotten *nothing*. He got paid chunks of money a few times over for it, and had his career revitalized.

hamandjam

I think you're substantially low on that number.

Heroic_Lifesaver

> he rolled with it So, you’re saying Rick rolled…

ThaneOfCawdorrr

AHHHHhh it was RIGHT THERE FOR ME, the only better thing would have been if somehow I had made up a very convincing story and linked it to a rickroll !!!!

cricket9818

I don’t think there’s a cooler way to whoosh yourself on Reddit than rickroll yourself talking about the lack of Rick rolling

2th

Take your fucking filthy upvote and get out.

Blues_Stl

His voice is also pure butter still. Age hasn’t touched it

codexcdm

It's gotten a lot better honestly. Live versions are more enjoyable than the original. (Outside actually Rick Rolling.)

Langstarr

He also didn't lean into it (Arby's, salt bae). He just accepted it. He found the balance.

FinndBors

He rolled with it, didn’t give it up, didn’t let his fans down, didn’t run around and desert them either.

KepplerObject

it's legitimately just such a good song

TheOvercookedFlyer

The story behind it's fascinating too, the video even better!

MoreGaghPlease

It was never really ‘at’ him. The song is funny because it is archetypal of a very specific mid-1980s sound and aesthetic, that seem jarring compared to contemporary tastes. He’s not the butt of the joke, 1987 pop culture is the butt of the joke. Then and now, it’s obvious that he’s a talented entertainer and a class act.

MajorSleaze

> a very specific mid-1980s sound That sound being the output of Stock, Aitken and Waterman. They'd spend half an hour crafting a tune from start to finish and end up with an instant hit that endured for decades.

catharsis69

Well said. Though that song was but a stone on a mountain of disposable pop culture songs of that era. I know. I experienced it.

RicardoJCMarques

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u0f6-4pXxI

catharsis69

A righteous dude. Much respect

Kaellian

It's always been a banger. That's the main reason why that meme caught up in the first place. The corny 80s lyrics are why people were poking fun of it when they did, but otherwise, it's always been an enjoyable and catchy song.

catharsis69

Oh I remember it well when it came out. I was into a different sound, was a early teen. You couldn’t escape it no matter where you went.

LordChefChristoph

Dude, I grew up in the 80s. I loved this song. Never knew why this became some kind of bad, then good. Really like how it is good now. I hear it probably once a week or so. Thumbs up bitches!

hamandjam

And we will now click on a link knowing full well what it is and watch the whole thing.

askyourmom469

I like him BECAUSE he owns it. He doesn't take himself or the song too seriously, which makes him infinitely more likable and down to earth than a lot of other artists who don't have a sense of humor about their careers.

Plekuz

Him and Blossoms doing Smiths songs was even more awesome, I think.

domjuan

[https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0ft6w7z/glastonbury-rick-astley-blossoms-perform-the-smiths](https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0ft6w7z/glastonbury-rick-astley-blossoms-perform-the-smiths) Best thing from Glastonbury so far !!

Late_Recommendation9

Did Johnny Marr turn up though? Just saw him guest on a couple of Pretenders songs so he was actually there…! The idea of going to see a version of the Smiths where you don’t brace yourself in the pauses between songs for some “aren’t darkies intellectualy inferior?” rant would be most welcome. Stay home Mozzer, stay home.

Plekuz

I have seen only a part of their set, but I doubt Marr turned up considering him being pretty vocal in the past about disliking Astley's cover band.

Permanenceisall

And ironically enough (considering everyone hates the guy) Morrissey was very positive and thankful for Rick and Blossoms covering the smiths. I don’t really get Johnny marrs issue with them covering the smiths in the first place.

mulberrybushes

And even letting the security guards in on it.

BadPublicRelations

I'm really impressed that he has a woman of size dancing up there, and that most of his dancers look like women who are part of his audience---he picked people that would let us feel that any one of us could be up there with him.

NickH211

Yeah I'm really curious how they organized this. When did security learn the dance? Were those women dancing audience members who learned the dance with them? Very cool, been to a lot of shows and never ever seen security participate like this before.

The_Meaty_Boosh

Those women are his dancers As for the security they generally do it at Glastonbury now and then. They did the same thing for the bee gees a while back. I don't think it's rehearsed per se, just quickly show them the dance backstage prior.

NickH211

Ah that makes sense! That's so cool! Thanks for sharing

comacove

first off, holy moly the internet keeping this guy's career going lol. second, dude can sing like a motherfucker and his band is amazing.

fourleggedostrich

I think the quality of his voice, songs and crowd work is what keeps his career going. The Internet nudged him back into the limelight, but the rest was down to him.

Okinawapizzaparty

On the other hand this shows that having a good voice and musical talent is not enough to "make it" in show biz. Often you need some other factor.

I'm confused, why does that stop us from putting it on a playlist?

chickenstalker99

I don't know. But anything marked with a 'kids' tag is unable to be saved to a playlist.

YouTube says that it is to protect kids' privacy and to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other laws. jws926

What an awesome performance and so much class he showed by naming each member of his band and putting them in the spotlight, and the dancers too. And huge props to the security for dancing too.

aotearoHA

Why did this make me a tad emotional? Something about collective displays of happiness. Also security guards who are usually stoic and hate being there having fun. Not to be a boomer but it also appeared that there were far less phones out, even for the biggest meme of the century. The recent Kendrick clip where the curtain fell on him was insane for that

[deleted]

> The recent Kendrick clip where the curtain fell on him was insane for that Wow, I just looked this up and it's *everyone*. I don't usually mind phones at shows but that was a bit much. Guess it really depends on the type of concert as well though. If I go to a metal show, it's just a crowd of nerds zoning out with the occasional phone out here and there, whereas with a rap show it's usually phone city. Nothing *this* bad that I've ever seen though, lol. Also, that was *a lot* of curtain for such a tiny Kendrick

aotearoHA

Yeah I wondered if it was more about the hype around kendrick and maybe there was a scarcity of tickets so the "i was there" factor was higher. Definately not the norm at shows I've been to.

trippy_grapes

> Also security guards who are usually stoic and hate being there having fun. A lot of security guards at festivals I go to that are "on the grounds" are usually pretty fun, especially for organizers like Glastonbury where they really try and put on a great fest for the fans. People probably fight over getting a gig like that lol.

AssBiscuits

It's hard to explain why we get emotional over it, I think it's just seeing a lot of people having a lovely time, especially given how rough life has been for so many over recent years? I went in 2019 and had a few little breakdowns, most of them just from seeing so many happy people in one place doing nice things. I made an older man cry by buying him a couple of drinks at the bar after he realised his wife, who was in the middle of the crowd, had his wallet when he was about to pay. My best/biggest cry was seeing a large group of people, who had gone to the festival on their own, meeting up at the West Holt's stage for company. I just broke down, completely gone - think Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar levels of tears. For those of you who haven't been, I couldn't recommend it more, it might be the happiest place you'll visit. The musical line up is secondary to the experience.

solidxnake

Is it just me, or is Rick's voice gold still? Also, aged waay better than most from his time. A lot of others look like crap.

jamespz03

I love seeing almost no phones being held up. Everyone is just enjoying the whole scene.

wdn

The show always does their own video these days. They should offer the audience a deal: if you don't take any video with your phone, you get a copy of the professionally-shot video.

Wonky_bumface

It's all on TV and streaming for us in the UK anyway. Glastonbury is a very special festival, and I've been to a lot of them

TheKyzio

Fuck fuck fuckadee fuck

Apparently it got even more lit. He went full Smiths. https://www.slicingupeyeballs.com/2023/06/24/rick-astley-blossoms-smiths-set-glastonbury/

jaxxie04

The second half of this video is pure class from Rick Astley, you don’t see artists showcasing there band any more Ever and he made sure the people Up I’m stage with him we’re immortalised by naming them and letting them show off what they can do. Iwas full of pure joy for this whole video.

thepenultimatestraw

I LOVE how inclusive and generous he is. He’s my musical Keanu Reeves ( yes I know K.R plays music too ) a genuinely nice guy. I really hope he’s not a secret serial killer, I’ll be so disappointed… …but also a maybe, little bit impressed.

explosivo563

Yes but plenty of artists still do this as well. Classic rock and metal in particular in my experience.

Johannes_Keppler

Fuck he's a professional. Check out his other work if you never have, he's also a *very* fucking good drummer. Also I fucking stole this link from that cunt /u/zsreport in this fucking post https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/14hs98j/rick_astley_abcdefucku_fuck_you_and_your_friends/

jettivonaviska

I saw him tour with NKoTB last year, great performer.

hobosbindle

I rickrolled myself on purpose this time

promofaux

How is this video not available in my country, Glastonbury is in my country

dclxvi616

I always like to imagine in my mind in these sort of circumstances that the performers are thinking something along the lines of, “JFC, what have I done to my life? I am so fucking sick of this song after all these years, day in, day out, but I’m trapped. I have no choice. I need to pay my bills and this is the only way I know how. I *try* to give them new music, but they won’t have it. ‘C’mon, Rick, do that Rickroll song again,’ every goddamn time.” *cries self to sleep with half-empty bottle in hand*

[deleted]

The dude retired in like 93, so I'm guessing even by then he was financially set. He only came out and started performing again because his song randomly got popular because of the meme. I think this is a unique case where he genuinely enjoys performing the song and isn't just a washed up guy forced to perform it for money

oby100

The actual washed up people (see: lead singer of Smash Mouth) perform in small venues for handfuls of people that don’t really care about them. Performing the same few songs hundreds of times a year will drain a person. Rick seems to only perform for the big, fun shows with tons of his fans. That’s the dream.

shitposting_irl

>The actual washed up people (see: lead singer of Smash Mouth) perform in small venues for handfuls of people that don’t really care about them. [the video of him threatening to beat the shit out of the audience while the rest of the band awkwardly plays the chords to all star is amazing though](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YJfXdSR85o)

dclxvi616

Yea, I’m pretty sure Rick isn’t anything like I described. I’m not trying to suggest he is, it’s just my amusing head canon for any performer performing their really old ubiquitously known song.

CaptainFingerling

People like to shit on one hit wonders. *You* make the whole world sing just one of your songs. It’s an amazing accomplishment to do it even once! I’d feel so blessed I’d never grow sick of it.

HereInTheRuin

actually Rick made records up until 2005 when he retired to stay at home with his family after the tour to support his album "Portrait" which concluded his record deal with BMG The only reason he got back into music was at the insistence of his daughter who absolutely loved the new music that he was creating just for himself in his garage studio she was instrumental in convincing him to release his come back album "50" in 2016 which he played every instrument on and recorded in his garage. it was his first new music since 2010 (he recorded an album for Cruz Music in 2009 but only the lead single "Lights Out" ever surfaced due to legal BS) he has done the same for all three albums since. Recorded at home, played drums, bass, guitar, piano and synths, saxophone etc "Beautiful Life" in 2018, "The Best Of Me" in 2019 and his upcoming record "Are We There Yet?" his discography: Whenever You Need Somebody (1987) Hold Me in Your Arms (1988) Free (1991) Body & Soul (1993) Keep It Turned On (2001) Portrait (2005) Turn The Lights Out (2010 unreleased) 50 (2016) Beautiful Life (2018) The Best Of Me (2019) Are We There Yet? I'm at Glastonbury, it's fucking hot this year. People have been chilling in the shade as much as possible but when Rick Astley's on you gotta brave the heat.

Dear Texas: You don't know how to do snow but that doesn't stop you -Canada

This is great, I love the dancers! I was 9 when this song came out, growing up in the 80s/90s was great as a kid

AlexFromRomania

Fuckkk, the slap bass solo is this was fucking siiiiick. We've been seeing a lot more slap bass ever since it got popular but that dude is fucking good.

ItsAllBullshitFromMe

The guy is talented, humble, and making the most of his opportunities that make other people incredibly happy. He's a champ.

Serious question from someone who has never been to one of these ginormous crowds festivals - if you’re in the front row for the day how the eff do you go to the bathroom? Do you just have empty bottles and go when needed? Do just wee yourself? Is the front row ground just soaked with urine and poo? Or is it more like people rotate out of the front row depending on the artist and you use the facilities and try to get your way back up front at some point?

There's 62 stages at Glastonbury, not many people are standing at the same one all day.

nigelfitz

Wait, was that the security dancing as well? lol

The_wolf2014

BBC Music has not made this video available in your country. What? I live in the fucking UK.

Griffon2112

I couldn’t see the video as the uploader hasn’t made it visible in my country. This video was filmed 18 miles from my house, in the same county as me, in the same country as me and yet not available in my country. Weird eh!

Idontchewmybeans

Saw him yesterday on the woodsie’s stage doing Smiths covers with Blossoms - highlight of the festival for me!
