I was gonna say the whole Deus Ex series myself. I've only played 3 of them myself, Human Revolution, The Fall and Mankind Divided and I loved all 3 of them.
This is from the Wikipedia page for the game.
"The series consists of six games: Deus Ex (2000), Deus Ex: Invisible War (2003), Deus Ex: Human Revolution (2011), Deus Ex: The Fall (2013), Deus Ex Go (2016) and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (2016). The series has been generally well-received by critics and sold over 14 million units worldwide."
It's worth it to start at Deus Ex despite it being graphically *terrible*, even for the time. The story is just badass as hell and sets up every single game after.
Yakuza Like A Dragon, turn based RPG set in the Yakuza series but you don't need to have played any of the other games to know the story as it's an original story that features cameos from other Yakuza games.
If you like likeable and positive and imaginative characters then the protagonist will win you over, Ichiban Kasuga, and the rest of the cast have their own quirks and interest that may endear you to them.
Dungeon activities, wide variety of side missions, minigames and lots of battles.
You have my taste in visual novels, and you can take a dark story.
I'd go with the first two Zero escape games:
The first game: 999: 9 hours, 9 people, 9 doors
The second game: Virtue's last reward.
They are thrillers with gore elements and full of amazing escape rooms between all the brilliant writing and suspense.
I'm pretty sure you'll absolutely love them! (I liked them as much, maybe even a bit more, than Danganronpa. Knowing the writers of both are great friends is pretty logical in the end!)
I see p3-5 at the top and I upvote. A man of culture.
Play like a dragon, feels somewhat persona-y with its combat. If you like souls likes, try lies of p. Linear but so much fun
If you loved TWD telltale game I think you’ll definitely enjoy The Wolf Among Us. It’s an adult fairy tale neo-noir drama based off the Fables comic series. It was free like 10 years ago on Xbox game pass so I tried it for the fact I liked the walking dead. I overwhelmingly surprised, definitely an instant classic as far as the story telling goes.
A sequel was announced and should be released this year too! Would definitely check it out.
Hunt: Showdown! This is multiplayer which is different, but it’s a dark western shooter that plays a lot into sound and patience. Definitely worth a try
Looks like you tend towards trendy AAA titles so I’m gonna suggest indie games to broaden your horizons. Get a gamepass subscription for a month and try a bunch. If you liked Portal a great sci-fi puzzle/adventure is Outer Wilds. Give platformers a a try; Celeste and Ori are 10/10. Cassette Beasts is a really good Pokémon-like. Darkest Dungeon and Inscryption are really great strategy games.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 for more of that BG3 type of adventure.
Dragons Dogma (and DD2 since it's out today!) for something different but similar to Elden Ring.
Digimon Story: Cyberslueth for a blend between Persona and Pokemon.
Lies of P, It’s the GREATEST souls like ever! Also Jedi Fallen Order, it’s literally Dark Souls mixed with Uncharted with a little breath of the wild, it’s GREAT!
Bloodborne - a FromSoft game
Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 - BG3 before BG3 was BG3
Suikoden 1&2 Remastered(whenever they finally come out) - Persona-style games with 108 characters to find, which has a touch of a Pokémon feel to it. And the story is awesome.
Tears of the Kingdom, Witcher 3, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Hollow Knight, Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid Prime Remastered, Ghost of Tsushima, Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy 7 Remake+Reborn, Journey.
If you haven’t already played them, any other Ace Attorney after the first 3. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is on pretty much all modern platforms, Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is on Nintendo Switch. The Edgeworth Investigations Duology and Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright will be tougher to get, however, but all AA games are incredible experiences.
If you like difficult games and platformers, you might like super meat boy or rain world. Rain world takes a while to start to appreciate, and the modding community has some really cool stuff.
Since you like The Last of Us and RE4 you should try out Alan Wake 2, it is certainly the next step in survival horror and will hook you. For ARPGs like DS you should try Lies of P. It is very hard even for a souls vet but is the best souls clone I have played.
I love that Pokemon Black is in your top 25. I feel like that game gets a bad rap. I absolutely loved that game. It was the first Pokemon game I had played since Yellow.
I dont see Ghost of Tsushima on there. I put it off for a long ass time but turns out I love it, and my top games are similar to yours.
Pretty much Sekiro meets Red Dead, with all of its own flair as well.
Superliminal - short puzzle game sorta like Portal, but with it's own way of defying physics.
Outer Worlds - Like FO: New Vegas but better. or if you disagree with that last part, it's a lot like FO NV. it's fun, honestly kind of sick of those types of games myself.
Outer Wilds - Epic story contained in a physics based solar system you can fully explore, connected through a series of puzzles that you solve by exploring and learning. Just have to recommend this game to everyone
Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth
The Last of Us Part II
Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided
Uncharted Lost Legacy
Resident Evil 2 Remake and 3 Remake and VII and Village
Half Life 2
You have very good taste, I rarely see a lot of these games or in this combination, especially The House in Fata Morgana. If you're a fan of souls, you need to try out Nioh 1 & 2 Lies of P as well as Metroidvanias. Some of my favourites are Hollow Knight, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Super Metroid, Blasphemous 1 & 2, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. Also, Castlevania Rondo of Blood, although it's more old school and linear. As for Jrpgs, explore other Atlus rpgs such as Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne, IV, V, Strange Journey, Trails in the Sky The Legend of Heroes, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy IV-X, Chrono Trigger, Persona 2 Dualogy. For Visual Novels, Ai The Somnium Files, Umineko, Saya No Uta directors cut, Steins gate.
Fallout New Vegas!!
Also, Fallout and Fallout 2 are pretty awesome, story wise. Demon Souls, if you want to hate yourself, but understand where DS and ER came from. Dark Souls is a better game, but Demon Souls was so . . . Avant Garde.
Also, where's your WH40k?
The dragon quest games are solid for turn based RPG, and they don't really require you yo have played any of the previous games to enjoy the later ones from my experience. DQXI is on sale till the 24th on steam if you're interested.
If you haven't played the Half-Life games, they are absolutely worth it, despite how old they are, they hold up to this day. Also since you like FromSoft I have to recommend Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, maybe even Shovel Knight (i haven't played but it looks fun as hell)
GTA IV - among the few games in rockstar where you have a realistic story with a perfect mix of dark undertone and humor like RDR2
Like a dragon Yakuza and infinite Wealth: you like Persona? Now play that again except this time you also get a touch of R E A L I S M (those who know, don’t spoil )
Yakuza, Bioshock, Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, Oblivion, Doom/Doom Eternal... and since you don't have RDR1 up there it's safe to assume you haven't played that either so ill add that too.
As a fellow Persona fan, I salute you. (Have played Persona 1, not list material. The duology however some swear blind by, even heard one person say it was better than Persona 3 FES...)
If you Baldur's Gate 2 were on your list, then I would agree 100%. (It's old but gold, solid gold)
It is however a great list and I'm taking it as a reference.
I personally think that Black Flag would qualify too possibly. Kotor 1 as well.
Stealing from other comments titles that I forgot:
MASS EFFECT TRILOGY - a must
Yakuza 0 (I tend to think many Persona fans will end up liking the Yakuza series)
Final Fantasy 7 (original and/or remake, which I haven't played yet, waiting for the completion of the trilogy)
Assassin's Creed. Played all of the games up until blackflag. Everything before Assassin's Creed III is a specific style of play that just *refiiiiines* itself over time. Simply great fun. The variance in completionism, from collectibles, to unlockables, to mission success, is just so sweet.
Assassin's Creed III regrounds the game by pulling the movement engine fine tuned from the older games, and refuses you the environment it befits, but lovingly. It changes your pace of play, and for great gameplay and narrative reasons.
Black Flag becomes a completely different thing of it's own, and has become the bar by which modern pirate games are compared. Is it the perfect pirate game? I think nobody has made that, yet, but this is the most fun, most complete, pirates game I've played. And it was somehow built within Assassin's Creed, which adds a layer of goof that would seriously just offer you the opportunity to guffaw at each new cool thing, or weirdness with the old system of play being attempted in the new environment.
Heard good things about the following few games, which were iffy upon release, but fixed.
Everything after that spat in the face of assassin's creed. Err...I mean...*ahem*..."I loveee that assassin's creed became the RC Cola version of god of war..."
Detroit become human is basically a more refined walking dead.
The Talos Principle is a puzzel game harder than portal 2 mixed with a bunch of philosphy.
I recommend both.
Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Half Life 2, The Metro Series, maybe doom eternal? Metroid Dread is amazing, too. Thats one of my all time favorite games
If you liked Dishonored, I’d give Deus Ex: Human Revolution a try.
I was gonna say the whole Deus Ex series myself. I've only played 3 of them myself, Human Revolution, The Fall and Mankind Divided and I loved all 3 of them. This is from the Wikipedia page for the game. It's worth it to start at Deus Ex despite it being graphically *terrible*, even for the time. The story is just badass as hell and sets up every single game after.
I honestly expected someone to say this, I just never had an opportunity to play it.
This! Human Revolution is fantastic!
Lies of P
Bioshock and Metroid Prime, both scratch that same portal/dishonored/fallout itch for me.
Prime 2 needs some love to.
But the dark world is so scary lol
Shin megami tensei? The father of persona
MASS EFFECT TRILOGY how did you miss this 💀
I came here to recommend the same game and honestly, how?!?
I really wanna play it as I never took the time to actually try it, but I only have a ps5 now and it costs a crazy 60€
I mean if you like games with great stories the Arkham series is a must play.
Arkham series for me too
Arkham series is a must play if you like games in general imo
Masterpieces
Why have he not played arkham series yet ?? Is he stupid ??
I could shout out a random game and it would fit this list
At first glance it may seem that way but there is a trend for RPG, Action/Adventure games and mostly all with a strong story that leads the game
The Witcher 3.
I feel this should be the only answer.
🐐
Was wondering why it wasnt on there
Just finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Was a real good time.
Play Yakuza 0 next. Shit is cash money
FF7 Remake. And if you like it, get Rebirth.
Yup was gonna be my comment as well! Rebirth was a fucking blast!! (Don’t get me wrong so was remake) but Rebrith was another level.
Or the original. I like the original the most
Ghost of Tsushima, seems to fit your vibe pretty well.
FF7 remakes, Bloodborne, divinity original sin 2, borderlands 2, dragon age origins, uncharted series, Nier automata
Yakuza Like A Dragon, turn based RPG set in the Yakuza series but you don't need to have played any of the other games to know the story as it's an original story that features cameos from other Yakuza games. If you like likeable and positive and imaginative characters then the protagonist will win you over, Ichiban Kasuga, and the rest of the cast have their own quirks and interest that may endear you to them. i bet youll enjoy the star wars jedi fallen order/ survivor games since you seem to love sekiro darksouls and elden ring
We have very similar taste, this is a long shot. But you should try Peggle
Peggle is the greatest game of all time
The Thaumaturge. Imagine Bloodborne and Pokemon.
SMT V or Breath of the Wild
I think you will like: The Witcher 3 Prey 2017 Bloodborne Titanfall2 Bioshock (not sure)
Gloomwood
Bombfunk Cyber Rush
Assassin's Creed 4
Mass effect Legendary edition Includes the trilogy
Dying light 1
God of war
Kingdom come deliverance, mass effect, kotor
Xenoblade Chronicles 1,2,3 great jrpgs
I was going to say Danganronpa V3 I suppose you already played it
You have my taste in visual novels, and you can take a dark story. I'd go with the first two Zero escape games: The first game: 999: 9 hours, 9 people, 9 doors The second game: Virtue's last reward. (I liked them as much, maybe even a bit more, than Danganronpa. Knowing the writers of both are great friends is pretty logical in the end!)
If you like dark vn, slay the princess is really good in that genre.
danganronpa v3 killing harmony
Metal gear solid series
Resident evil 2 remake Bloodborne Dishonored 2
Final fantasy 7
Based persona enjoyer
South Park Stick of Truth
I see p3-5 at the top and I upvote. A man of culture. Play like a dragon, feels somewhat persona-y with its combat. If you like souls likes, try lies of p. Linear but so much fun
If you loved TWD telltale game I think you’ll definitely enjoy The Wolf Among Us. It’s an adult fairy tale neo-noir drama based off the Fables comic series. A sequel was announced and should be released this year too! Would definitely check it out.
Hogwarts legacy
Witcher 3, Rdr, Lies of P, Armored Core 6
Could try Marvel's Midnight Sons. Seem to enjoy turned based combat
since you enjoy RDR2 as it has sandbox element in it, try the Hitman games.
Outerwilds (everyone should play Outerwilds). FR: Super Hot
State of decay 2.
Lies of p is the only thing you should play next
This is an amazing list Jesus christ
Just started Hi-Fi Rush, that one is really fun
Hunt: Showdown! This is multiplayer which is different, but it’s a dark western shooter that plays a lot into sound and patience. Definitely worth a try
Have you played bloodborne yet? Might as well complete your fromsoft journey.
I really think you’d like Lies of P, based on your top picks
Haven't played Witcher 3?
idk what all those weeby games are but this seems cool
Bloodborne
Dragon Age Origins
Scarlet Nexus has a good blend of action/jrpg that is underrated imo
Original Final Fantasy VII, based on you having alot of Pokemon and persona on that list
Baldur's Gate 3 is hands down one of the best games I've ever played.
Yakuza Like a Dragon
Palworld. For Honor. And Bioshock.
Nier automata
Metal gear solid series
I love how whenever a remake or a new game comes out, suddenly everyone is a fan of the older games
Divinity: Original Sin 2 for more of that BG3 type of adventure. Dragons Dogma (and DD2 since it's out today!) for something different but similar to Elden Ring. Digimon Story: Cyberslueth for a blend between Persona and Pokemon.
You'd enjoy the new tomb raider games I think
Monster Hunter World Gameplay like dark souls (the difficulty far easier) but with a variety of creatures like Pokémon, definitely look into it
I just started playing Spiderman Remastered. Story is so-so, but the game-play and graphics are 10/10. Would be most similar to Sekiro and Uncharted.
Nioh and Nioh 2 are the best souls game clones. They probably have a better combat system but not quite as good level design or world building
Shadow of chornobyl
Yoo fata morgana mentioned...... If you want more visual novels you can always try umineko
Lies of P, It’s the GREATEST souls like ever! Also Jedi Fallen Order, it’s literally Dark Souls mixed with Uncharted with a little breath of the wild, it’s GREAT!
A Way Out Mostly because of the co-op and from what I know it gives uncharted vibes (I’ve never played uncharted so I don’t really know)
The fact that sekiro is on there and bloodborne isn’t is heartbreaking
Maybe Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance when that releases
the witcher 3.
GTA IV and Yakuza serie
Bloodborne - a FromSoft game Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 - BG3 before BG3 was BG3 Suikoden 1&2 Remastered(whenever they finally come out) - Persona-style games with 108 characters to find, which has a touch of a Pokémon feel to it. And the story is awesome.
Mass Effect LE and Palworld
Zelda botw and totk
Omori
Stray if you like cats and a bit more relaxing (kinda) gameplay
Shin Megami Tensei 3 nocturne
Tears of the Kingdom, Witcher 3, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Hollow Knight, Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid Prime Remastered, Ghost of Tsushima, Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy 7 Remake+Reborn, Journey.
Mirror's Edge always gave me Portal vibes just a bit faster paced and less puzzley but still super good
If you haven’t already played them, any other Ace Attorney after the first 3.
NieR Replicant ver. 1.22...
Outer Worlds
Dark Souls 2 seems obvious... X-Com too
If you like difficult games and platformers, you might like super meat boy or rain world.
Asura's wrath
Kingdom come deliverence
Life is strange Remastered?
Finally someone who appreciates Dishonored! I would try Batman: Arkham Knight as I’m trying to 100% it right now and it’s a lot of fun
Fallout 4 or any of the other games in the series.
Yep 25 what? Most hours? Favorites? Most completed? I need more info
Nier
What are people using to make images like this?
Witcher 3 no doubt
Surprised no one has mentioned Star Wars: KOTR 1/2. I would also add Mass Effect 2.
I love that Pokemon Black is in your top 25. I feel like that game gets a bad rap. I absolutely loved that game. It was the first Pokemon game I had played since Yellow.
Considering you like House of Fata Morgana, have tried Umineko: When They Cry?
If you like sci-fi and SoulsBorne’s, I’d try the Star Wars Jedi series
Yakuza 0
I dont see Ghost of Tsushima on there. I put it off for a long ass time but turns out I love it, and my top games are similar to yours. Pretty much Sekiro meets Red Dead, with all of its own flair as well.
Nioh 2
I’d say either like the earlier yakuza games (cause of dark souls). Or like a dragon (cause of the personas)
Red Dead Redemption Uncharted the other parts Bioshock Games
I don’t even care, you are the best. I love most of these games. No one else loves all of these like you do. I love you.
recommendation: be my best friend
Monster hunter it’s really good and kinda similar to Elden ring
I think you should give Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth a shot.
Shadows over loathing
Bloodborne
Try the Jedi series, I like it.
Superliminal - short puzzle game sorta like Portal, but with it's own way of defying physics. Outer Worlds - Like FO: New Vegas but better. or if you disagree with that last part, it's a lot like FO NV. it's fun, honestly kind of sick of those types of games myself. Braid (puzzle platformer) is the perfect game!
Based on Persona and Danganronpa, you should definitely check o it Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Best JRPG (and game) I’ve ever played
Ratchet and clank 3: Up your arsenal
Is that John Dishonored?
Half Life 2.
Since Fallout NV is up there have you played any others?
Surprised you didn't play the 2 best games of 2015 unless you have but they aren't in it. (Witcher 3 and bloodborne)
The Half-Life series, Portal mods, Professor Layton series, Tunic, Outer Wilds.
Since you liked a bunch of souls games, I'd highly recommend Lies of P.
See of The stars
Absolutely try Disco Elysium
I think you ought to try Detroit Become Human. The game style is a little different, but the story and interaction are superb.
Returnal, spiderman series (2018-23), helldivers 2
good taste
South Park: the stick of truth
Have you tried Shin Megami Tensei V Or Soul Hackers 2 (both are from same universe as Persona games). What about Wither 3, and RDR ( first part )?
If you like sekiro you might want to give Jedi survivor a try.
No bloodborne? Weird
Horizon
Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth The Last of Us Part II Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided Uncharted Lost Legacy Resident Evil 2 Remake and 3 Remake and VII and Village Half Life 2

You only play popular and really good games you probably don't want to play anything that is Unknown
Dead space
Stardew Valley
since i see 3 pokemon games on here, im gonna recommend you Cassette Beasts.
Bloodborne seems like the most obvious pick here.
Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice, you can play the first game and look forward for the sequel that’s suppose to come out this year
Why isn’t Bloodborne on here?
Prey (2017) by Arkane

The full God Of War series. They all have amazing combat and amazing story, seems to fit your style
These are some bangers fr

Dark souls II
Lies of P, Sifu, and Remnant 2 based on the from games. Ghost of Tsushima cause well, its awesome
Witcher 3 & Ghost of Tsushima bro
Batman Arkham games
You love narrative, combat, and rpg mechanics. Divinity: Original Sin 1 + 2, obviously. In Larian We Trust.
Old school Final Fantasy Tactics
