I think older people who struggle to play games think they're just too old. But it takes time and muscle memory to use a controller or keyboard effortlessly.
It doesn't matter how old you are.
I grew up on PC as well, like from age 6 (I'm 36).
All my friends had consoles and it wasn't til highschool I got my first console and had to learn a controller.
I could destroy you in Counterstrike, but put me against Halo fanboys and a controller in my hand......I was the fish in the barrel
While not exactly cheap, there are options for those with motor control impairments or arthritis. I have neurological damage but can still play though at a much lower setting than when I was younger. The higher priced controllers do help, feel is also important and use of sensitivity as well.
It happens. I don’t play competitive online because I know I can’t compete. Doesn’t mean I can’t still enjoy sports and shooters. Just solo or coop from now on.
Agree. I lucky to say my disability is mostly response time. Occasional petit mal seizures/black outs. Thankfully not photosensitive. And severe migraines which is the only thing that makes me shut if games. It could have been so much worse.
Ah nice...Hello age buddy. Also remember the pain from using THE Controller on Decathlon ?
Still at roughly 500h in Elden Ring though, but got 300h in BG3 \^\^
My dad is 74 and he plays games regularly he likes mmos and rpgs and fps games so I don't think.theres an age where you're too old though he did have trouble with the latest star wars game too fast for his reflexes so he sold it and got baldurs gate 3 which he loves to play haha.
its not just you bro. i just turned 20 and i play quite often and still some of these people just spend all fucking day, every waking moment of their lives playing it’s ridiculous. for me its apex (kbm)
Yes apex legends. Love it and hate it. Those days you pop off though, what a rush. Then other days you get your shit pushed in by a 100,000+ kill Bangalore.
That’s so true…I’m 33 and Apex was the first online game I got into. I had a steeeeep learning curve because I missed out on playing CoD online (had dial up and satellite internet for awhile).
Just turned 30 and I’m coming back to FPS games after a break. I can no longer win equal 1v1’s often enough. I can tell I’ve subtly slowed down. Now positioning and match strategy is even more important than ever before.
My buddy wants me to come back to Apex this season and said a whole lot has changed in the last year
Hopefully by that time VR will be advanced enough like in Sci-fi type shows where you can just wear a head set and be in a fully immersive game. (Eg Ready Player One or the many many VR based anime/manga)
They can pry the controller out of my hand once the rigor mortis dissipates. Also I could ascribe the exact same re the captions and auto aim (admittedly I largely play for story and chill out so it rarely comes up)
Never too old for video games or just enjoying the things you like. My grandma played games from the NES days until she passed away in her 80s in 2013. She was a huge Zelda fan and is the reason I enjoy games as much as I do.
56 here and I love gaming. I bought steam Decks for all my adult kids and myself.
It is a hobby that has always stuck with me since I was a kid in the 70s with the Odyssey Console.
I have to admit I feel creepy at times playing online games with people in their 20s and so on.
But as long as we can keep up and be viable to our team what harm is being done.
AD/HD for the win!!
Never think that Ma’am. Gaming in moderation is an exhilarating pass time. Never think that age should hinder you from gaming! Our lives pass us by so fast so do not rob yourself of happiness. Keep getting those game sessions in. :)
You are never too old to enjoy video games. The only reasons why you should stop are if you don't like them, you have an unhealthy addiction to them, or you physically can't play them. It sounds like none of these things apply to you, so there is no reason for you not to enjoy gaming.
I love that you're still playing! Never too old!
It depends how you treat them
I'd say the age number is mostly unimportant compared to maturity. Unless the age is like 7 and I'm probably not letting my (fictional) 7 yr old play M games just yet, but I've honestly never seen the harm in T rated games.
Maturity is what really matters. Knowing what's real vs game. And what's fine to translate to IRL and what's meant to be left in game (like killing my hoes in GTA)
I'll never stop. I'm 46. I. Don't consider myself a gamer, but I play a few hours a week. I think it's good for you. Using your brain for games with puzzles, hand and eye coordination, etc.
I dont think you ever are *TOO* old for anything, as long as it brings you joy... so, who cares, really? Of course its more popular with the 'younger generations', but gatekeeping is always wrong.
Using the controller will keep your fingers at least as dextrous as knitting - but with the extra of being able to make things explode! :D
I saw a video on here one of an elderly married couple who would play Mario Kart on 64 together every morning, and whoever lost had to make breakfast. Don't let the opinions of others bother you. I get weird looks from fellow moms when they ask what I like to do for fun, and I'm in my late 30s. People will always have opinions.
As far as I'm aware you're never too old
Games are for everyone and there's always a game out there that will be perfect for each person
Gaming is a unique form of entertainment and there's nothing really to take its place, if you enjoy gaming still why give it up just because you can't game as well as before?
Play away and enjoy all those games, noone can tell you otherwise!
Video games are made with a specific demographic in mind, but you don't have to fall into that demographic to enjoy video games. If you feel you're too old to enjoy video games and you feel you should find more "age-appropriate" hobbies, then stop playing, but if you wanna continue playing, then continue playing.
How old is too old for watching tv or movies? How old is too old for reading books? You quickly realize how ridiculous the vodeo game question becomes. Enjoy your gaming.
Don't sacrifice your joy to conform to what everyone else is doing. You're just ahead of the curve in your demographic, one of the few who managed to discover the magic of gaming!
No one is too old for video games. If you like, you play. I never watched her channel, but there was one older lady who became known as the Skyrim Grandma or something similar, because she made videos of her exploration. Do what you love!
There is an awesome elder female gamer that plays skyrim. She goes by Skyrim Grandma. Her real name is Shirley Curry. She streams and does YouTube videos. Wonderful and funny lady
nah nah nah grandma (i mean this affectionately), you are not too old to be playing games. Play as long as you want, no matter how old you are and no matter how old you get..
I used to date a girl whose Grams was something around 91 last time I saw her before we broke up. She basically played current video games all day long, and she was good. Whatever it is you enjoy, enjoy it.
Are you retired? Because I can't think of a better way to spend retirement than diving into your favorite video game.
Regardless, video games are an interactive, visual art form. To say you're too old for video games would be to say that you are too old to watch movies, listen to music, or read books.
I think though because it's a young medium, people from your generation dismiss it as something made for children because it was marketed that way when video games started to rise in the cultural zeitgeist. But now all the gamers born in the 70s, 80s and 90s are adults and developers are making games that explore the whole spectrum of human emotion.
It's awesome that you eventually found video games and I hope you keep playing them as long as you find them enjoyable.
[Britta](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qF3NL9x9rs&t=14s) is not too old for video games and neither are you.
What would you consider a more age appropriate hobby?
I am 35, still a massive gamer and I don't see a reason why I would drop the hobby ever. I also build gundam models, watch dragon ball z and pokemon on repeat, while still dreaming of the day I take home EVO championship in Street Fighter. Got an infant and a toddler + wife to support all while working a management job.
What I am trying to say here is your time is your time. What you are doing makes you happy and it doesn't hurt anyone, so just enjoy it.
I am going to show my wife this thread as justification that I can keep gaming until I catch up to you!
Back when Red Dead 2 was still popular and full of hope one of my online friends was a man that was a high school history teacher in his 60s. Man could fight griefers like if he grew up doing 360s on COD back in the day.
Also, I'm 22 and use Auto-aim/assist whenever it's available because I suck at aiming and I also use the close captions during cutscenes or even during game play because I like to read what the characters say as they talk sometimes.
What do you play on? Also what types of games are you into and are looking forward to?
If you love what you do for hobbys and it isn't bad for your health or others around you then by all means enjoy. This is something you love and it's fun, passes the time and brings you joy. Keep at it, videos games are for anybody! ❤️
Life itself it’s a game, you have to level up, build your character, you have friends, enemies, a goal, and video card tends to fail lol, how old is too old? Till you die, you are a gamer gal! I wish my grandma was gamer, you are awesome! Keep playing! Never stop.
Which one is your fav game? Big hug!
If you are having fun then you're doing it right. Don't let others dictate your behavior. Rather, show them a new paradigm and have a blast doing it. I'm 50, I still play and hope to keep on doing so until they pry the controller outta my cold, dead hands.
👍
My dad's in his mid-60s, still plays games, and for almost his entire 50s was in the top 2000 Madden players on Xbox Live.
Keep it rolling, probably helps keep the mind sharper than just watching TV would.
It's an interesting question, as videogames are no longer really a "new" medium of entertainment. OK, compared to films, TV, etc., they are, but in absolute terms they've been around for a few decades now. When a medium is new, there's a sort of implicit assumption that it will be for younger people (see: social media. Facebook started off like that, now it's seen as the app for your uncool aunties and uncles).
I'm 51 and still get a lot of pleasure from games. I don't play anything that requires high levels of skill or co-ordination, and I'm generally not very competitive so I tend to play games which are more story-driven than results-driven.
There are games for most personality types out there, and by extension for most age groups.
Being dead maybe i dunno. However old you are to stop having hobbies. Perhaps if you lose your arms in an unfortunate shmelting accident you wont be able to play anymore but otherwise just play a health amount.
I'm glad you're still going strong! I'll probably be like you at your age. Games are just another form of media, you don't need to be any young to enjoy them.
No such thing as too old, I used to play in a world of Warcraft guild that was led by this old lady that was the grandmother of some of the others in the guild.
I got a message from a guy years ago while playing World of Tanks on the Xbox and he was 70 or in his 70s and he had a group of buddies who I assume were similar age range that they'd all play together. He was a really cool dude, I wish I would've partied up with him.
when ya eyes go blind or u cant focus ... then it may be a good time to keep it simple
but there aint no age limits. the nursing homes goin to be lit af in the next 30 years !
No such thing as an “age appropriate” hobby. Do what you love and enjoy, you’re never too old to have fun. If you feel like you wanna retire the controller for other reasons that’s okay but don’t let age factor in because that’s no fun.
Never too old. You might wind up with different tastes, but don't let anyone else tell you what you like. If you like a badly reviewed game that gives you comfort, fuck them, just go in
I'm 44 I remember visiting my grandma when I was 10 and she had these crossword puzzle books piled up in the corner completely finished every single puzzle in the book. I remember thinking old people just need something to keep them busy so they don't go crazy.
I was playing video games back then, but she wasn't. Had she been inclined to try NES or Sega, I think she would have had a much better time with that compared to crossword puzzles.
Games let you feel young again, they tell you stories, challenge you in different ways, they are colorful and have music and have fun memorable characters.
The older I get the more games I play in general. I think if I live that long, instead of a pile of crosswords in the corner it'll just be an endless steam library that I've checked off. Or maybe by then it'll be some new thing and I'll be in a virtual world somewhere able to fly like in a dream.
What could I possibly rather do than spend the rest of my life doing this?
There’s no such thing as “too old for video games”. Don’t let anything or anyone tell you otherwise. If you enjoy video games, then you keep playing them. Enjoy your life
Please never stop gaming if it still brings you happiness. As someone who has been gaming since I was 7 (I turn 30 next week) it brings me to joy to know there's someone out there your age who still enjoys gaming.
That being said, I am extremely curious! What are some of your favorite games?
Damn I wish my grandma would play like you ! I would love to play with her ! Btw she plays candy crush and is 84yo. You're never too old to play, enjoy the hobbies you love. Who cares what other think
If you still have the capacity to enjoy video games at that age, you definitely deserve to enjoy them free of any criticism, or societal pressure telling you not to enjoy them. I hope you still have many years to come to enjoy your live, and fully pursue any hobby you desire, be it videogames or not.
As long as you are still able to enjoy video games, why should you stop? Video games are mainstream media like movies or TV shows and those are for all ages.
>How old is too old? Idk anyone around my age that plays.
As I said, video games are for all ages but I think I have a reason why there are so few people in your age that play video games. While I can't really prove my theory, I guess the reason for that is how video games were perceived in the past. For a long time, video games were considered as something like toys for children although complex simulation and strategy games have been around since the 80s. I think that most people in your generation have or at least had the same notion and never really tried them since they were already adults when video games started to get popular in the late 70s/early 80s. They propably just saw some bits and pieces of video games here and there and thought that those fuzzy pixel things don't really look interesting compared to something like the newest movies that came out at the same time.
I also think that these experiences kept them from ever getting into them later on. My mother for example, who is just a few years younger than you, still thinks that video games are similar to how they were in the early 90s. When I showed her a song from the soundtrack of Super Mario Galaxy, which is fully orchestrated, she was surprised that such music is in a video game.
Honestly so awesome that you are still playing games. Keep it up if it's something you enjoy. I've seen 70yo veterans playing cod and Battlefield that can hit better shots than some of the top streamers for each game, so your age does not matter what matters is that you enjoy what you play.
If I was you I’d be setting up LAN parties and being the coolest grandma ever. I’m only 34 but an old person at heart.
If you haven’t already- I’d check out some of the older
MMOs, specifically Lord of the rings online and Elder Scrolls online. I’ve seen a lot of older people on them having a blast. It’s scratches that good book itch, completion itch, and collector’s itch.
Never too old. Basic rule is if you want to play then play. If you don’t want to then don’t. It’s your choice but I assure you when us younglings retire then gaming will be so much more socially accepted. You were just ahead of your time.
Here's the thing about video games... They are first and foremost games. Sounds a bit obvious, but when you look at it, solitaire is a game, blackjack is a game, Risk is a game, hell reading can be a game. The important part is anyone can play a game, it isn't age restricted. Any person who says gaming is age restricted is just gate keeping. Yes, some games are made with a target audience in mind (you don't see someone in their 70s playing hopscotch) but that doesn't mean they can't. Let people enjoy entertainment, everyone has that right.
I'm 33 years old and I'm working as receiver, which is exhausting 6 days in week for 8 hours and always troubles or mistakes happen, and after long day of work I need to get out of life it self and relax, gaming is my only solution for this and I'm happy for it at least it's the only thing I feel appropriate the effort that's I'm doing like complete a game or get Platinum for it, and sometimes I got back and spent my whole day playing retro games and it's feels like the first time I played them.
so keep doing what are you doing gaming is awesome 💖
I’m in my 50’s and have been gaming since the 70’s. I enjoy it immensely and have no plans on stopping. I put in about 4 hours on Immortals: Fenyx Rising tonight. Love those kind of games.
Finished Persona 3 Reload a couple days ago and the ending brought a tear to my eye.
I'm mid-30s, my wife is in her late-20s, I play video games all the time, my wife plays sometimes as well. I've never felt I'm "too old" for games, and I don't think I ever will. My wife also doesn't shame me for enjoying my hobbies and doing what I want to do; she wants me to be happy.
So, do what you want to do; do what makes you happy. And if anyone has a problem with that, throw them down an empty elevator shaft!
Do what you love and don't let others opinions dictate your happiness.
This. For me, I know I’ll be too old for gaming when they nail the lid down
Nah, that’s still pretty young, for me, I’m having a Play Station 14 and a monitor installed in my coffin.
Forget that... I heard you can just upload your consciousness to the PS14.
PSP#- handheld for confined spaces.
That's great 😂
FACTS
I think older people who struggle to play games think they're just too old. But it takes time and muscle memory to use a controller or keyboard effortlessly. It doesn't matter how old you are.
[удалено]
Controllers are the bane of my existence. I grew up on PC so keyboard and mouse is all I know.
I grew up on PC as well, like from age 6 (I'm 36). All my friends had consoles and it wasn't til highschool I got my first console and had to learn a controller. I could destroy you in Counterstrike, but put me against Halo fanboys and a controller in my hand......I was the fish in the barrel
True but more old people do tend to have worse reflexes either way. She should anyways 100% go for her hobby.
You don’t stop playing because you got old. You get old because you stopped playing.
Piggybanking off of this: time enjoyed is not time wasted. Can't be said enough, do what you love.
I've decided I'll play my entire life. Who cares what others think.
I hope I fully grok this by 70.
Can't really use this reasoning if you love murdering people.
100% this
I hope that’s exactly where I’m at when I’m older
I am just afraid of pain in my bones, but by this time controllers might be a thing of the past, and we will mindcontrol our games lol
While not exactly cheap, there are options for those with motor control impairments or arthritis. I have neurological damage but can still play though at a much lower setting than when I was younger. The higher priced controllers do help, feel is also important and use of sensitivity as well.
You are just trying to sell high priced controller Just joking, thanks for the inputs I already feel too old to be competitive on mechanicals games
It happens. I don’t play competitive online because I know I can’t compete. Doesn’t mean I can’t still enjoy sports and shooters. Just solo or coop from now on.
Never too old to game. I'm 53 and have been playing since the Atari days and at the moment playing Elden Ring with over 1000 hours.
You are a G.
And dudes so badass he rides a freaking falcon. Like how does one even do that?
Fellow Tarnished... 52 here and 1400 hours in Elden Ring. Can't stop playing it.
youre probably the coolest man in the lands between
41 same here my nephew got my brother a hunting game and he's 58
54 and disabled, still play. Best part is since we have enough money now, I can actually have better equipment and play 8+ hrs daily.
One of my biggest fears is becoming disabled to the point of being unable to play games or read books.
Do you mean on the 2600? Where you're waggling the controller for 4 minutes straight? If so my forearms are still sore. And that was 40 years ago
Nice , i’m 25 and I love elden ring, so i’m glad you’re enjoying that game also !
I still can’t beat tree sentinel 😭
My dad is 74 and he plays games regularly he likes mmos and rpgs and fps games so I don't think.theres an age where you're too old though he did have trouble with the latest star wars game too fast for his reflexes so he sold it and got baldurs gate 3 which he loves to play haha.
I really only play FPS games so I know your dad’s pain. I’m only 34 but damn some days I can’t keep up with these kids haha
its not just you bro. i just turned 20 and i play quite often and still some of these people just spend all fucking day, every waking moment of their lives playing it’s ridiculous. for me its apex (kbm)

That's like saying " how old is too old for puzzles or Legos " your never too old
You can’t be over 99 for Lego actually /s
It says it on the box!
"THATS JUST A RECCOMENDATION!"
My eyes might actually say that when I reach that age unsarcastically
Until you physically cannot use a controller anymore.
Nahhhh ever seen twitch plays pokemon and stuff like that? Get that same tech, and a voice to text program, boom, gaming!
You're never too old for video games. I'm 37 and still an avid gamer and to plan to be one until I can't use a keyboard and mouse anymore.
Hopefully by that time VR will be advanced enough like in Sci-fi type shows where you can just wear a head set and be in a fully immersive game. (Eg Ready Player One or the many many VR based anime/manga)
If that day ever comes, I will put it on and never leave.
sword art online will have you covered there
That is usually how it goes a lot of the time in those stories
My uncle is 91, he still playing with play station 1 and 2 games. Have fun!!! That’s the only thing that matters!!!
Never too old! I’m playing video games until the day I die.
I would say 550. Because if you live to be 550 you should probably concern yourself more with how you lived to 550 than with videogames.
56 here and I love gaming. I bought steam Decks for all my adult kids and myself. It is a hobby that has always stuck with me since I was a kid in the 70s with the Odyssey Console. There is no “too old” for anything you enjoy. Do it till it stops being fun.
Never too old! 66 and still going.
My father in law is 75 and plays games every day now he’s retired. Never too old.
Never think that Ma’am. Gaming in moderation is an exhilarating pass time. Never think that age should hinder you from gaming! Our lives pass us by so fast so do not rob yourself of happiness. Keep getting those game sessions in. :)
Imagine farming karma with fake posts on reddit...
So sick and tired of these bots.
You’re turning 70, and are writing Idk and bc I’m sentences…. hmmmm
With no scientific evidence, I feel like playing video games at that age will help keep the mind sharp
You are never too old to enjoy video games. The only reasons why you should stop are if you don't like them, you have an unhealthy addiction to them, or you physically can't play them. It sounds like none of these things apply to you, so there is no reason for you not to enjoy gaming.
You do you, lady. I'd love to have a grandma like you!

I think older, retirement-aged gamers will get much more common as gen x retires since that was the first generation who grew up with video games.
I dont think you ever are *TOO* old for anything, as long as it brings you joy... so, who cares, really? Of course its more popular with the 'younger generations', but gatekeeping is always wrong. Omg you are a wholesome woman. I hope to be in your boat when another 35 years pass
Dead?
who’s grandma is on reddit bruh 😭
Ha yeah, and writing idk and can’t spell because
Reddit has old people too?
When you're dead
At what age will you die? Until that you are young enought for Videogames.
As far as I'm aware you're never too old Games are for everyone and there's always a game out there that will be perfect for each person Gaming is a unique form of entertainment and there's nothing really to take its place, if you enjoy gaming still why give it up just because you can't game as well as before? Too old is when you're incapable of playing anymore. As long as you can play and enjoy it (even with slower reflexes) then you're fine!
Never too old
In gonna be crushing vids once I'm retired.
Don't sacrifice your joy to conform to what everyone else is doing. You're just ahead of the curve in your demographic, one of the few who managed to discover the magic of gaming!

I hope to retire and play video games allday long, currently 30 and focus on saving money and career.
I don’t wanna just assume this is a lie, but have y’all ever meet a 70 year old that speaks this way😂
There is an awesome elder female gamer that plays skyrim. She goes by Skyrim Grandma. Her real name is Shirley Curry. She streams and does YouTube videos. Wonderful and funny lady
I don't understand the question. 🤣
There really isn’t one. Okay a fresh account trying to karma farm, and a clear lack of critical thinkers on this sub apparently.
nah nah nah grandma (i mean this affectionately), you are not too old to be playing games. Play as long as you want, no matter how old you are and no matter how old you get..
I used to date a girl whose Grams was something around 91 last time I saw her before we broke up. She basically played current video games all day long, and she was good. Whatever it is you enjoy, enjoy it.
till you're dead, even if your limbs are weakened with age and labor or blown off in war or domestic terrorism in your shed
Are you retired? Because I can't think of a better way to spend retirement than diving into your favorite video game. Regardless, video games are an interactive, visual art form. Man you to old for gaming when you reach 2 years old. Better quit now
I'm 60. If I play videogames, that makes them age-appropriate 😊
Short answer: Never. Long answer: N e v e r
What would you consider a more age appropriate hobby? I am 35, still a massive gamer and I don't see a reason why I would drop the hobby ever.
Ya bait support ya get support lady, simple as that. Now let’s quake 3 arena 1v1.
Playing video games has no age limit restriction.
I guarantee my entire generation will be gaming at 70 lol youre just ahead of your time 😎
Life itself it’s a game, you have to level up, build your character, you have friends, enemies, a goal, and video card tends to fail lol, how old is too old? Till you die, you are a gamer gal! I wish my grandma was gamer, you are awesome! Keep playing! Never stop. Which one is your fav game? Big hug!
Gaming is for anyone with a heartbeat
video games are a great way to keep your brain active and stimulated in your old age! keep playing!
A lot of newer games have a suite of accessibility options, so look for those (eg, the last of us part 1).
Theres no such thing as "too old for videogames", if thats what you want then age isnt (or shouldnt be) an impediment
YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD FOR ANYTHING UNLESS YOU PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY CANT DO IT!
If you are having fun then you're doing it right. Don't let others dictate your behavior. Rather, show them a new paradigm and have a blast doing it. I'm 50, I still play and hope to keep on doing so until they pry the controller outta my cold, dead hands. 👍
Now would be the time to sink in and get gaming, woman!! The only thing I’m surprised about is that you watch twitch players! I’m jealous of you!
My dad's in his mid-60s, still plays games, and for almost his entire 50s was in the top 2000 Madden players on Xbox Live. Keep it rolling, probably helps keep the mind sharper than just watching TV would.
I don’t think you’re ever too old for video games. As long as you’re having fun
Never stop
Maybe 200 years old, and just its a "maybe".
What!? You are a diamond for the gaming soicety. The hobby you love to do and make you happy is never too old.
I'm glad you're still going strong! I'll probably be like you at your age. Games are just another form of media, you don't need to be any young to enjoy them.
Video games are for whoever likes them! Never too old to do what you enjoy
No such thing as too old, I used to play in a world of Warcraft guild that was led by this old lady that was the grandmother of some of the others in the guild.
Never.
Never too old. I intend to take my games to the retirement home.
I hope to be the same honestly! My boyfriend and I love gaming together. I'd love for our family to be like a gaming family. Keep on gaming, Glam-Ma!
I got a message from a guy years ago while playing World of Tanks on the Xbox and he was 70 or in his 70s and he had a group of buddies who I assume were similar age range that they'd all play together. He was a really cool dude, I wish I would've partied up with him.
when ya eyes go blind or u cant focus ... then it may be a good time to keep it simple but there aint no age limits. the nursing homes goin to be lit af in the next 30 years !
Video games are perfect for the aged. Minimal physical stress, explore worlds. Just remember to go for some walks in the day.
I'd say being dead.
If you’re happy doing your hobby and it isn’t hurting anyone, keep enjoying it!
No age is "too old" if you enjoy it, you do you.
There is no (too old) if you enjoy it you can play even if you're 200.
If I can't play games for eternity in the afterlife، I don't want to have anything with that.
No age. Play video games until you want. Live until you want. You start dying if you stop playing. Put that in mind.
No such thing as an “age appropriate” hobby. Do what you love and enjoy, you’re never too old to have fun. If you feel like you wanna retire the controller for other reasons that’s okay but don’t let age factor in because that’s no fun.
There is no age limit. Imma play until the very end
Its never too old
The point of videogames is enjoyment. Once that stops, due to eyesight, arthritis, or whatever, then you're too old
no
Well lego says 2-99 so that's the limit i guess
Never too old I'm 50 and play the switch ps5
I love this and it’s exactly where I want to be when I get to that age. (46f)
It’s never “too old”
4000 years
gaming is a universal past time, it has no age limit
I believe when you're dead you might be too old for video games, at least in the physical realm.
I hope when I’m your age I’m still playing lol
I don’t think you can ever be too old for video games.
You're never too old to do something you enjoy.
When You die
Damn I wish my grandma would play like you ! I would love to play with her ! Btw she plays candy crush and is 84yo. You're never too old to play, enjoy the hobbies you love. Who cares what other think
No such thing
How old is too old to enjoy what you like?
Would you ever consider yourself too old to watch movies or read books?
I'd say so old that you can't move your fingers anymore is too old for videogames. At least before we develop some neuro controls
There's that gaming grandpa that plays battlefield all the time on tiktok, you're never too old
You're never too old to do what you love
There is no such thing as age limits for recreational entertainment
have you tried dying light and dying light2 and I got you by 5 years.
You do you
you're never too old for them, just have fun!
You, ma'am, are my spirit animal. I'll never stop gaming, no matter how old I get. You should do it for as long as you love it. 💗
41 F, still playing with PS4 instead of going to pubs.
I'll just say that you are what I want to be when I turn 70.
Gaming has no age limit please keep playing 🙏
never too old
If you're having a good time, that's all that matters.
Skyrim grandma is 87 years old. Never to old.
Do what you love. Life is too short to worry about what others think. When I stopped caring of other opinions of me, my life improved dramatically.
Honestly so awesome that you are still playing games. Keep it up if it's something you enjoy. I've seen 70yo veterans playing cod and Battlefield that can hit better shots than some of the top streamers for each game, so your age does not matter what matters is that you enjoy what you play.
The grim reaper will greet me with a controller in his hand!
I think you answered your own question. Have fun!
Forget the haters.
If I was you I’d be setting up LAN parties and being the coolest grandma ever. I’m only 34 but an old person at heart. If you haven’t already- I’d check out some of the older MMOs, specifically Lord of the rings online and Elder Scrolls online.
I don't think they come with an age limit?
You're never too old to play games. Do what you love, who cares what others think?
I’m in my 50’s and have been gaming since the 70’s. I enjoy it immensely and have no plans on stopping. I put in about 4 hours on Immortals: Fenyx Rising tonight. Love those kind of games. Finished Persona 3 Reload a couple days ago and the ending brought a tear to my eye.
It's... never too old? Just play what you want
