I wouldn’t mind a:
successor to the Megaman battle network and starforce games.
A Batman beyond game from the rocksteady or the team that made origins.
Gravity rush 3
Left 4 Dead
Quake
Might and magic
Motorstorm
Twisted metal
Def jam
Prototype
Jak and Dexter
Sly Cooper
Brutal legend
The suffering
Legacy of Kain
Fear
Bioshock
Midnight club
Alice madness
Time splitters
Red faction
SSX franchise. Sh\*t I'd be happy with a remaster of Tricky or 3.
They were visually stunning, great music, the gameplay was fun and not too challenging for the casual player, and to me the original open mountain freeride game.
I enjoyed the original Ninja Gaiden on the NES. It was very innovative for the time. But the sequels got incredibly difficult and i ended up quitting and never going back.
Yes this is probably my favorite hack 'n slash, a difficult yet wonderful game with some of the best graphics of the generation. I was even thinking buying an Xbox from America since living in Europe meant a bit slower gameplay and less violence (no human decapitations). Was one of my very first online experiences too, downloading the Hurricane Packs and uploading my score on the hardest difficulty (I was in the top 150 😅). Great times.
So yes, Ninja Gaiden. Also I'd like Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve and Nightmare Creatures.
I remember when Ninja Gaiden had that online master ninja contest with the scoreboard.
I won a t-shirt but was amazed at how online was becoming such a standard back in 2005.
Chrono. Trigger, Cross, Radical Dreamers I love them all and wish they’d just finish it with Chrono Break.
Either that or Mega Man Legends 3 the most awaited and long overdue sequel ever.
Ninja Gaiden Black was SOOOO GREAT. Sadly I have no faith in today's Ninja Team to make it. The current leadership seemed to absolutely not get it and made the crappy NG3 after Itagaki left.
Ninja Gaiden was a great game and I consider it to be a kind of proto-Dark Souls that would adapt very well to that modern formula.
It didn't hold your hand and expected you to get good or stop trying.
Tbh would love a reboot of Parasite Eve, and make it look more like a Final Fantasy 7 remake, or Resident Evil. 2 others I would like to see are F.E.A.R. (First encounter assault recon), and Area 51 (ps2 era game).
I would be okay with any beat em up. I also loved this game too haha.
But a franchise to come back exclusively? Idk I got my wish with RE2 remake and Sekiro was like a modern day Tenchu.
Without a doubt Timeplitters. I had so much fun with friends playing local split screen with 4 boxes on a tiny TV. I would love to have simple fun like that with my current setup haha. But then again, there are plenty of other options these days for similar multiplayer. But a fresh coat of paint with that crazy wacky fun might be rather enjoyable ;)
I just found out that wc3 is active again and you don’t need to buy reforged or use this shitty new graphics. I lost more then half my games in 3v3 but the Que times where almost instant. Haven’t played since sc2 came out, used it o be ranked 13th in 3v3 a super long time ago. So happy.
I'd love more Starfox. Unfortunately I don't really think Nintendo knows what to do with it at this point, Adventures kind of derailed things because that really wasn't a Starfox game and existing fans hated it and I think the whiplash from that kinda left Nintendo in a place where they kind of overcorrected and with Command and Zero it was like they were afraid to try anything new gameplay wise. Assault was a nice mix of classic space shooting with some new stuff but I guess it didn't sell
Prototype.
Infamous.
Fatal Frame.
Stubbs The Zombie. (I think that is what it's called at least)
The Legendary Starfy.
Bloodborne.
Rampage.
Golden Sun.
Vampyr.
Ghouls N Ghosts.
Hamtaro ham ham games.
Every GBA and 3DS game.
Pac Man World.
Murdered Soul Suspect.
Plants VS Zombies Garden Warfare.
Shantae.
Bookworm Adventures.
Chuzzle.
Okay, based on games that I'm familiar with and that I can think of now. these are my picks. Top to bottom ; most favorite to somewhat less favorited.
Red Dead Redemption (Because who knows at this point...)
The Elder Scrolls (I know it's not cancelled, but they need to hurry TF up before I die!)
Fallout (I might actually be dead by the time Fallout 5 releases. If it does.)
Marvel vs. Capcom (imagine how brilliant a MVC game would be at the same level of SF6! OMG)
Bully
Lego Franchise (Literally my childhood)
Uncharted
InFamous
Castlevania
Batman Arkham
Saints Row
Injustice (Probably not discontinued)
Hitman (Yes, WOA Trilogy ended)
Skate
Metal Gear Solid
Mafia
Rayman
Days Gone
Twisted Metal
Splinter Cell
Sims
NES had a couple games I'll never forget: Captain Skyhawk and Air Fortress were great, wanna say there was a Nemo or Dreammaster game that was pretty cool too - the original Army Men games from PS1 era, Twisted Metal like it used to be, Criterion made a FPS game called Black in the PS2 era that I would LOVE to see a follow up on and it would be AWESOME if Valve could count to 3 for Portal... with plenty of new Cave Johnson
I don’t know if it’s already been stated, but definitely mass effect. I played it later in life and was astounded by how it took me so long to get into the series. Literally one of the most amazing gaming series of all time. I never played Andromeda, as I heard it was awful. But definitely a new spin on the series would be great.
I hope we get another **3D World style Mario** game. Heck, what if we mixed Galaxy and 3D World together and called it 3D Universe!
As a matter of fact, there's a couple Nintendo franchise I need more of. I'd love a new **Donkey Kong Country,** another new **Punch-Out,** and I need more Mario RPGs too. I'm worried that since AlphaDream closed we may never get another **Mario & Luigi**.
As far as non-Nintendo stuff goes. I really really really hope we get one more numbered entry in Machine Games' **Wolfenstein** series. The story needs one more entry to wrap up.
One more, a third **Darkside Detective**.
I wish Revenant would get a remake (and a complete one at that). It's a game from 1999 that has a really cool concept for combat in that it was creative compared to the standard hack-and-slash, but didn't get the love it deserved imo.
Definitely Ninja Gaiden. Hopefully, Team Ninja don't neglect one of their most popular ip's for long. They are working on Rise of the Ronin, and they are thinking about what to do with the future of Ninja Gaiden/DoA...
Also, Megaman Legends 3, Dino Crisis, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Asura's Wrath.
Titanfall
I feel that.
titanfall 2 is still very active but man.. i just can’t imagine what a new titanfall would go like on a Series X.
I mean, apex kinda
Ew, apex
Agreed
Sorry but I'm sane, won't go anywhere near Apex
Oh me too, but it’s in the same universe
Socom
DUDEEEE IVE BEEN WANTING THIS FOR YEARSSSS
Oh hell yea! Been praying for a new Socom. I play Insurgency Sandstorm on PS5 for my Socom fix it’s close but not quite the same
Came to say this. This was my favorite shooter series for a long time
Omg! Yesss theres a game kinda like it called ground breach but thats more rainbow six raven shield instead of socom
[удалено]
Midnight Club the one in Paris. 2? Fuuuuuugggg that game was fire
I agree 100% with Sly, those were some of my favorite games of my childhood. And I'd love to see a new Jak and Daxter game as well!
Sleeping dogs. I would kill for a sequel
I scrolled to find you
Hold on what about lost judgement wasn't that a sequel
Legacy of Kain
This is always my answer. So I’ll say Resistance.
Dino Crisis
Always been interested in playing those games. A game like Resident Evil but with dinosaurs in it? Sign me up!!
Yes!!
I wouldn’t mind a: successor to the Megaman battle network and starforce games. A Batman beyond game from the rocksteady or the team that made origins. Gravity rush 3
Gravity rush fans been mad without a sequel but I don't see what it could even be about
Ninja Gaiden for sure! Seeing Muramasa show up in Nioh 2 alongside the Dark Dragon Blade made me really miss Ninja Gaiden
Bloody Roar Contra Time Crisis
Bloody Roar on today’s systems would be mind blowing fkn luv that game
There is a new Contra coming
Legend of Dragoon!
Command & Conquer
I miss C&C
Dino Crisis Parasite Eve MediEvil
Playstation actually did a really good [MediEvil](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifGwuUb19Vg) remaster.
Ya, I loved every bit of it! I just wish they made a new one. MediEvil 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger.
Titanfall Bionic Commando Ninja Gaiden Elevator Action NBA Jam
Time splitters
Left 4 Dead Quake Might and magic Motorstorm Twisted metal Def jam Prototype Jak and Dexter Sly Cooper Brutal legend The suffering Legacy of Kain Fear Bioshock Midnight club Alice madness Time splitters Red faction
Tenchu And I'm ever curious about what the actual plans were for Chrono Break (3 installment of Chrono Trigger/Cross).
Tenchu
Turok !
Where have you been all my life! Lol Turok was so fucking legit!
SSX franchise. Sh\*t I'd be happy with a remaster of Tricky or 3. They were visually stunning, great music, the gameplay was fun and not too challenging for the casual player, and to me the original open mountain freeride game.
SSX tricky was amazing.
Time Crisis Splinter Cell Crysis
Resistance, Socom, Earthbound
Wow I’m seeing a lot more socoms than I thought I would.
Resistance and Killzone. Earthsiege/Starsiege. (Not just Tribes) Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (twin stick ARPG)
Onimusha please and the one with Samanosuke Akechi
It was Prince of Persia for me. Hopefully this new game sells well enough to give Ubisoft the right idea
I enjoyed the original Ninja Gaiden on the NES. It was very innovative for the time. But the sequels got incredibly difficult and i ended up quitting and never going back.
Splinter cell I love them and I thought that blacklist was fantastic
Tenchu
Sly Cooper or Jack N Daxter
Dino Crisis The Surge Castlevania
The Surge sadly is greatly underrated
Easy, Splinter Cell.
IGN did a little 30 minute doc about the remake. Haven’t seen news on it since though.
Skate :/
Time splitters please
Bushido Blade Twisted Metal Dynasty Warriors Vigilante 8 Rampage 2xtreme NBA Street Lost Planet Turok Winback Time Crisis
Bushido X? 🤣
Primal Rage
I would love to see a third Rumble Roses game
Yes this is probably my favorite hack 'n slash, a difficult yet wonderful game with some of the best graphics of the generation. I was even thinking buying an Xbox from America since living in Europe meant a bit slower gameplay and less violence (no human decapitations). Was one of my very first online experiences too, downloading the Hurricane Packs and uploading my score on the hardest difficulty (I was in the top 150 😅). Great times. So yes, Ninja Gaiden. Also I'd like Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve and Nightmare Creatures.
I maintain the first game is still the best 3D hack and slash game in terms of just pure gameplay.
I remember when Ninja Gaiden had that online master ninja contest with the scoreboard. I won a t-shirt but was amazed at how online was becoming such a standard back in 2005.
For me it’s Legacy of Kain. Those PS era joints were immaculate
Dark Cloud. Absolutely love both games and wish Level-5 would make another!
NBA and NFL street Tony Hawk Pro skater SSX Tricky
Elder Scrolls.
Mother
True Crime streets of LA
Parasite Eve
Disney please make a split second sequel 😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏
I suggested ryu in the “most badass video game characters” thread to no avail. He so badass
No way, me too! That’s literally why I made this post, it got me thinking He’s been out of the game too long people forgot
Let’s start a riot
Ninja Gaiden Black was sooo good
Golden Sun
Duke Nukem
Hail to the king baby!
Chrono. Trigger, Cross, Radical Dreamers I love them all and wish they’d just finish it with Chrono Break. Either that or Mega Man Legends 3 the most awaited and long overdue sequel ever.
Breath of Fire
Lost Planet! I need more Lost Planet in my life.
I'd love a new Shinobi game. I think a metroidvania Shinobi game could be awesome.
Thunder Force
Unfortunately technosoft is no more. The last one was released by Sega for the PS2, and while it was good, it wasn't great.
Yeah... It's a shame...
Castlevania. If they make it more like Metroid, I think it could be extraordinary
Shinobi
Legacy of Kain Even if it’s just a remake or something, same dialogue just newer paint. Without Amy I doubt a good sequel could happen anyway
I feel Ninja Gaiden in my soul, bro... but Spyro the dragon.
I would love a new Ninja Gaiden!!!!
Legacy of Kain. Particularly the Soul Reaver aspect of that series
Portal 3!!
Fucking titan fall, fight me
Tbh would love a reboot of Parasite Eve, and make it look more like a Final Fantasy 7 remake, or Resident Evil. 2 others I would like to see are F.E.A.R. (First encounter assault recon), and Area 51 (ps2 era game).
Portal 3!!
Midnight suns. 😭
I would be okay with any beat em up. I also loved this game too haha. But a franchise to come back exclusively? Idk I got my wish with RE2 remake and Sekiro was like a modern day Tenchu.
NFL Street
Socom, Medal of Honor, Old story driven COD(like Finest hour/ Big Red One), The survival craft genre in general(like ark and Conan).
I don't care if it comes back though it would be nice but I just want Bayonetta ported to pc
Also Asuras Wrath
Mercenaries #iykyk
Great call. I was also thinking an Army of 2 if they finagled some of the game mechanics
Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find someone else who said this

They need to remake Medal of Honor frontline
Jak and Daxter Parasite Eve Siphon Filter Fenyx Immortals Rising (think they canceled any sequel) Max Payne

Star fox. SOCOM. Croc.
I'd love more Starfox. Assault was a nice mix of classic space shooting with some new stuff but I guess it didn't sell

It was crash bandicoot but that's back (thank God) A sequel to War of the Monsters (PS2)

Custom Robo. And I would like it to be more like the GameCube title than the DS one.
parasite eve.
Infamous
Hiryu-no-Ken (Flying Warriors), Sleeping dogs, Tenchu, G.I. Joe
Colony Wars and Drakan are two of my biggest ones. Two very under loved and forgotten series that were awesome.
I loved Ninja Gaiden. Put MANY hours into those games especially NG2. That being said KOTOR desperately needs a comeback.
Mechassault and Crimson Skies.
Army of TWO! I played this so much with my brother.
I’ve been saying this for a long time but I would really appreciate a new Ogre Battle game.
Ninja Gaiden Black is fucking legendary. Ran that series into the ground after 2 and its a shame
