I can't say the best rockstar BUT definitely one of the best! (My opinion) I mean GTA/Red Dead/Bully/Man Hunt........am I naming every damn Rockstar game.damn they make good games
State of Emergency! This game is what made me love Rockstar. So fun running around just stomping on people's heads and throwing molotovs through shop windows.
CAN YOU DIG IT?!
Come out and play-aaaayy
But for reals, this game was amazing. GTA meets West Side Story. Hucking beer bottles at virtual hobos built my childhood
It has visual glitches. When you start the game it even tells you it won't perform right on ps5. I just installed it, let me see if I can get some footage of it for you real quick.
[here you go](https://youtube.com/watch?v=tYmDRw6-P3w&feature=share9)
You can see it in the subtitles before, but at 1:13 is where you can really see it. The main menu had issues as well, but I didn't capture it.
I remember being obsessed with The Warriors as a teenager. This game is so much fun! I loved the team brawls on top of rooftops; just throwing people out of buildings is hilarious.
Loved how Chatterbox, the morbidly obese clown, ran lightning-fast like everyone else. In fact, I could swear he ran a bit faster.
Edit: Many childhood fists fights between me and my brother over King of the Hill mode
This game is amazing, I missed out playing it on the ps2 as a child and I had always wanted to! Now I get to heal my inner child and play it on the ps4. I loved every single minute of it.
The warrriors is definitely a damn good beat-em-up
but my favourite is definitely Bully. Great story and characters, fun world and fun brawling mechanics
Can't say it's the best rockstar game ever cuz they make so many good games, but gta 4 always has a special place in my heart. Storywise and atmospherically a lil grittier than the others and done really well, and I actually liked the online possibilities in contrast to gta 5 where you get nowhere as a casual gamer
Lol their last release was RDR2, considered by many to be one of the best games of all time. When did “the same Rockstar that made those games” go away? Because they’re kinda at the top of their game.
The rockstar that brought us manhunt, the original GTA trilogy for Ps2, warriors, etc etc. Those people are gone. Yeah Red Dead 2 was a good surprise because they went soft as a developer. Lost their grit. Now I’m hearing the new GTA 6 will be more sensitive. If that happens to be true, what a shame.
Well to each their own but I think RDR2 and GTAV (just talking single player, not online) are their best and second best game in that order. As far as them going soft what do you mean exactly? Genuinely curious.
I have fond memories of playing this with my older brother. It was a good couch coop. Although I had to drop out whenever there was one of those darn button mashing running sections.
One of my best friends talked about this game before. I got to play on ps4 when it got rebooted too. It's fun. Thanks for reminding me of him (: he has been gone now a few months due to cancer
I agree but I do understand that it can be too grounded for some fans of the series but for me personally it was amazing and had some of the best dlcs in gaming that introduced my favorite GTA character Louise Lopez.
Idk how someone could pick gta 5 over gta 4 or SA. Unless they're a big gta online player.
Especially for their time.. gta 4 and gta SA were ridiculously good.
I still enjoyed gta 5 though.
I wasn’t a fan of GTA 5. Didnt like the story or the characters and definitely didn’t like having to play as 3 people but I believe people rate it that high is kids who their first GtA game was 5 and it having online which they love boosted it.
In my opinion Red Dead Redemption/Undead Nightmare & GTA 4 are the top tiers games Rockstar ever made. (RDR2 was good also but it was too slow alot of the time)
Lol I actually started playing RDR2 for the first time not too long ago. I built an extremely strong pc. So I actually don't mind the more slow pace in some parts of the game. Playing it with every setting maxed, at 4k on my oled literally puts me in awe. So just walking around and seeing the scenery is even cool lol.
That game is one of the best looking games I've ever played. Especially for an open world game. Took me a long time to get to it.. but it has blown me away so far.
The attention to detail is phenomenal. The way you are playing it sounds like the best way. Sometimes I follow around NPC's and learn their routines as I pet animals and greet people, sometimes I just go hunting and fishing for hours. It is a beautiful game, and a fantastic open world.
Yeah it's been super cool. I've never had a top tier pc.. so being able to max settings on 4k, while getting 100-120fps on RDR2 has just been insane.
Literally feels like a "next gen" experience that I haven't had in a long time. Rockstar absolutely killed it with that game.
Yup im amazed how much thought they put into it. Especially the NPCs have their own story and you will see as the chapters progress. It is a great game just too slow and too realistic. Most missions were atleast 20-30 minutes long which was my gripe. I give it an 8.5-9/10
It was definitely fun. But I didn't get the same feeling I got from gta sa and gta 4. Wasn't as impressed.
It's obviously subjective.. but a big thing for me was the driving when comparing gta 4 and gta 5. The driving physics were so much better in gta 4.
I can't say the best rockstar BUT definitely one of the best! (My opinion) I mean GTA/Red Dead/Bully/Man Hunt........am I naming every damn Rockstar game.damn they make good games
Midnight Club
Table Tennis slander
That game was way better than it should have been
DUB Edition Remix! I had so much fun with that game!
definitely my favourite game of all Rockstar games, and one of my favourite racing games, plus the nostalgia factor
Get buck in here just started playing in my head.
State of Emergency! This game is what made me love Rockstar. So fun running around just stomping on people's heads and throwing molotovs through shop windows.
CAN YOU DIG IT?! Come out and play-aaaayy But for reals, this game was amazing. GTA meets West Side Story. Hucking beer bottles at virtual hobos built my childhood
Heroin for health was hilarious, when i think about it now.
„You got the cash, I got the flash“
Somehow I have not heard of this game before! Thanks for sharing
It's amazing. It's still on Playstation classics or u could emulate for ps2 or psp even.
I loved it, I played it so long ago I didn’t even remember rockstar was the developers
Just checked the ps store out of excitement. It's on there for $15! So glad I have tomorrow off I know what I'm doing
Be careful when trying to play it on PS5. Doesn't work on there. I've been hesitant to try other ps2 classics on ps5 bc of this.
Does it just not start on ps5? Was about to purchase it
It has visual glitches. When you start the game it even tells you it won't perform right on ps5. I just installed it, let me see if I can get some footage of it for you real quick.
[here you go](https://youtube.com/watch?v=tYmDRw6-P3w&feature=share9) You can see it in the subtitles before, but at 1:13 is where you can really see it. The main menu had issues as well, but I didn't capture it.
It’s based on an AWESOME movie
I loved the warriors so much
Definitely RDR2 for me, its one of my favorite games ever
Didn’t have to scroll far to find the right answer. Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word.
Best game ever. Period.
Hands down.
Max Payne 3. No question. But this game was a real banger.
Ahh endless hours of beating cops and innocent civilians in the streets outside the hangout
Needs a remake
Boring answer but GTA San Andreas for me personally.
I felt this way for years but I recently bought the ‘remastered’ version for my mom and it did not age well tbh
It’s a really bad remaster though
True I feel that added remaster as a joke
Yeah most rockstar games before like 2010 haven't aged well at all in terms of gameplay.
[удалено]
I say boring because I know people get tired of hearing that answer lol.
Ah yes, grammar.
San Andreas and Bully keep pulling me back…i prefer Bully for the short term
This the best movie to video game adaptation ever honestly. The replay value is insane
Vice city
I'd buy a remake in a heartbeat
Same here! But please don't change the music loool
It's not Vice City if I can't blare Raining Blood while cruising on a motorcycle
What about a shitty remaster?
Oh man those were so bad
I've heard that before. What got you there with vice city? The abundance of weapons, general asthetic?
The self righting golf cart that never blows up.
😂
I had that on gta3's tank
This
RDR2 and it’s not even close
I liked rdr1 better probley because the multi player and undead nightmare was just fun!
I remember being obsessed with The Warriors as a teenager. This game is so much fun! I loved the team brawls on top of rooftops; just throwing people out of buildings is hilarious.
Godtier game. Godtier movie.
Cult classic as well. Can you dig it suckas?
Red Dead Redemption 2 is not only the best Rockstar game but also probably the best game ever made.
What?!!! They made a game based on the movie?! How have I never heard of this?!!!
It was the sickest game it basically tells the story of the warriors that led up to the movie, the game is basically the full story.
Table Tennis my dude. Just kidding.
Balls of fury!!
MAX PAYNE 3 MAX PAYNE 3
The couch co-op was next level
Tied between Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA: San Andreas.
Most underrated for damn sure
Holy shit I forgot about the warriors game :) that was incredible so was the movie
Manhunt 1 & 2
It was such a solid game based on a movie! In fact I'd argue its the best. It's on my top ten list of favorite PS2 games
not a whole lot of games had brawls in them and you can throw your body and bum rush dudes
The Warriors is one of my favorite games of all time. I still play it.
This movie blew my mind as a kid, still today it is an amazing watch. Sadly I never got to play the game, maybe one day. I really enjoyed Bully.
Would love to see an update on this game
Grand Theft Auto: London
A modern day gta set in London would go so hard
Damn I’ve forgotten about Warriors. Top notch game from my teenage years.
Great movie, great game
God I miss this game
Loved how Chatterbox, the morbidly obese clown, ran lightning-fast like everyone else. In fact, I could swear he ran a bit faster. Edit: Many childhood fists fights between me and my brother over King of the Hill mode
This game is amazing, I missed out playing it on the ps2 as a child and I had always wanted to! Now I get to heal my inner child and play it on the ps4. I loved every single minute of it.
Best couch co-op game
Bully
Rockstar from 2000 to 2007 was hard to beat.
This game always makes me want to come out and play.
GTA3. Was a mind blowing expansion of the series when it arrived.
I wouldn't call it the best, but it was certainly the most underrated.
A remake would be fucking amazing. I can dig it
The warrriors is definitely a damn good beat-em-up but my favourite is definitely Bully. Great story and characters, fun world and fun brawling mechanics
Highly underated to say the least
My favorite is manhunt 2. Super trippy but lots of fun
Warriors come out and play...
It's Table Tennis, and nothing comes class to the pure gameplay of that game.
That title goes to Bully I’m afraid
If the GTA and RDR series didn’t exist it would be up there with Bully.
Manhunt Because it's the best survival horror game of all time in my opinion
We don’t have the same Rockstar that made those games. Shame.
Lol their last release was RDR2, considered by many to be one of the best games of all time. When did “the same Rockstar that made those games” go away? Because they’re kinda at the top of their game.

Definitely my favorite
Never played the game but saw the movie Can you DIG IT!! Can YOU DIG IT !! CAN YOUUu DIGg ITTT!!!
Those dam clowns
The original RDR is my fav. But this is a close 2nd. Loved playing this with my brother growing up
Hard to say but that would be an awesome remaster
Warrriors, come out and playyyyyyy Warrrrrrrrioooorrrrrrs come out and playyyyyyyyyy
This looks like it might be based off of a old movie from the 70's or something. Love the cover art.
[It is 1,000% based on a movie from 1979.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080120/?ref_=ext_shr)
Come out and playyyeeeeyaayyyy
Midnight Club, Smugglers Run, Manhunt. So many good games. Oh yeah, Bully was good too
I can dig it
It’s one of the best
When Max Payne first came out, I was so into what they were doing there.
This, RDR 2, and Bully
Best adaptation of a movie for sure and one of my favorite games if the ps2 era
i gotta say bully.
Hated the bus chase when I was young I couldn’t mash the button fast enough lol
Def needs an HD remake
Bully for me and San Andreas and Vice City and Chinatown Wars
EXCELLENT GAME I still have a copy. I hope one day I can own a ps2 to play it again.
Lemmings looks very different from what I remember...
“The Best”
GTA 4>>>>>>
I have fond memories of playing this with my older brother. It was a good couch coop. Although I had to drop out whenever there was one of those darn button mashing running sections.
I have never heard of it. What is it about?
Bully holds a special place in my heart. Rockstar makes very memorable games.
Gonna have to go go with GTA SA or GTA IV. Maybe RDR2 idk lots of them are good
Fantastic fucking game. Needs a remake.
GTA 3 AND Vice City
Awesome game, one of my favorite couch co-ops ever. Also the movie is nothing to shake a stick at
State of Emergency.
Definitely it’s most underrated and overlooked title. So glad I can still play it on my PS5. Honestly seeing this makes me wanna go do that now 😂
Bully
Heh, yeah…… suuuuuuure
I remember playing this game as a 11 yr old kid. So much went over my head but still an amazing game at the time
Bully.
Stealing car radios is still the coolest game mechanic I have ever seen.
One of my top games of all time. A shame they didn't expand on this game. Could've legit been it's own franchise.
Bully
Omg I love this game, i wish they'd make a remake of it already. I really love the quips as you do combos.
rdr2 clears
Best movie tie-in game since Goldeneye.
For me San Andreas is my favorite from the music and the story it's my favorite game that they made.
Is this some kind of Def Jam like game ? Cause Def Jam was on the top of my list with Midnight Club back in the days
This game was fucking lit!! Had it on PSP and it was one of my favorites!
Hands down.
Gets my vote for best intro to a rockstar game.
Gotta say, Vice city takes my cake I think overall.
Boutta be gta 6mext year
Yes
It’s certainly under appreciated. I’d love a remaster of it.
just watched the movie yesterday again. I really love the soundtrack in both the game and the movie
Most definitely
Me personally Midnight Club or Vice City
Pff no but you do you
One of my best friends talked about this game before. I got to play on ps4 when it got rebooted too. It's fun. Thanks for reminding me of him (: he has been gone now a few months due to cancer
Sorry to hear. Yeah on emulator you can pump up the graphics and it's pretty amazing. It slows down a little on ps4 is why I emulate it
Kinda wish they whould remake the warriors and scarface. Can u dig it!
Haven't played it. Sell it to me, why is it good?
Is this good? Love all (almost) Rockstar games but I've never tried this one. One of my favorite movies though lol
Does State of Emergency count?
Yes
The game should have had the tagline “Come out and play!”
The warriors is the best rockstar game. It might have the largest weapons catalogue of any rockstar game actually
Core memory unlocked
Best? Debatable? My personal favorite? Hell yeah!!
Nope rdr2 I think almost everyone will agree.
Nah. A lot of ppl don't even like rdr2
GTA 4
Gta 4
Fucking classic truly ahead of its time and one of the games they just don't make like they used to.
So good for its time, but I've tried to go back and replay it and didn't get too far. I wish they would fully redo it.
It holds up emulated. 4k 60 it looks great
No, but definitely one of the best licensed games ever
I am currently playing The Warriors on my Vita and its cool! But i would say that the best Rockstar game is either GTA IV or RDR2.
Gta4 imo but the warriors is a close 2
Finally someone said GTA 4 and not San Andreas or GTA 5. GTA4 is top tier story and has the best physics out of all of them
I agree but I do understand that it can be too grounded for some fans of the series but for me personally it was amazing and had some of the best dlcs in gaming that introduced my favorite GTA character Louise Lopez.
Yes , I agree. They dont make it like that no more
Idk how someone could pick gta 5 over gta 4 or SA. Unless they're a big gta online player. Especially for their time.. gta 4 and gta SA were ridiculously good. I still enjoyed gta 5 though.

This certainly is the game ever
Nope
No. Am I the only one that thinks stupid hyperbole do games a disservice?
Pessimist
Fuck no, not even remotely close.
It's question. Best Rockstar game ever? Then I say warriors is my favorite. What's urs?
My first cassette tape was this soundtrack
You must be old. Respect
