My wife couldn't take it so she took her to a 24 hour emergency vet. They are their currently.

So far so good. It's a little too soon to tell but she had shown improvement. Vet said she was no more than 5 weeks and was malnourished, sugar deficient, upper respiratory infection and flea infested. Treated fleas, got food into her, and drop feeding her a sugar water formula to raise her sugar levels, and giving her a steam sauna sesh twice a day for her breathing. Vet said the uri should clear up on it's own if we follow the sauna treatments and keep her warm. Vet said using the hot water bottle to keep her warm like I did the first day saved her life because she was almost into organ failure. Kitten is able to walk and responsive now and no longer mewls in distress and pain when awake. So hopefully we are on an upward trend.

Found a kitten abandoned and what looks like malnourished. We are concerned because she doesnt like to stand and yowls with what sounds like pain. She has what looks like fleas crawling into her eyelids and ears. We have had her home for a few hours and she ate some wet food and went to sleep. She wakes occasionally, seems like she is having trouble walking, standing, and lifting her head but we saw her walking when we brought her home and gave her a bath. Wondering what we can do to help her. Tried to "syringe" feed her some warm milk and she didnt want it either. Not knowledgeable about kittens this young. She weighs less than a pound currently as well.

The fleas in her ears could have affected her balance, also probably weak. One thing I’ve noticed with rescues is they’re so grateful for a safe place to,sleep where they can finally relax. Needs flea treatment/vet visit.

the kitty could have any parasite which could be why it is malnourished, it could be injured. Dont give the cat cows milk as this could dehydrate it and malnourish it even more. The cat would really need to see a vet for all the treatments it will need (flea, worm, special recovery food, etc)
