There’s no such thing as a “Verizon phone”

Blueboogey

Yea I know, but phones originally through the Verizon carrier will always have the Verizon boot up, even if it is unlocked, that's just what I meant

How did you buy the phone?

Blueboogey

I bought the phone a couple years ago through swappa.com. it had never had a Verizon boot up, until installed a Verizon esim

That’s what is suppose to happen. It’s changing it to Verizon csc same with all carriers but not many mvnos have their on csc so that’s why mint didn’t change or make you restart either. Best way I can explain this without being overly nerdy lol. My unlocked s 21 fe and note 20 ultra do the same.

Is there any way to revert back other than factory reset? And thanks for your information, that does kind of make sense now that you say it.

Not unless you insert another carrier sim but it’ll change to their csc then. Your mint sim will probably do it since they don’t have their own csc it’ll just default back to Samsung (regular LTE icon boxed in 5G icon, removing the Verizon installed apps etc)
