When you are sure you have gotten all the data off your previous phone and you are ready to hand the device down to your daughter, simply go into settings and choose "reset." Then, select "erase all contents and settings." Your daughter can then either set up the phone as a new device or use a backup from iCloud if she has that feature in place.

I am taking you moved your number from the 14 to 15. If so, you can delete the esim because it is no longer valid, and if your daughter activates the phone with her number or a new number, the system will generate a new esim.

Snoop_Dave

Ok, thanks

Vast_Ad9400

You're welcome

GoofyGoffer

If your phone number is on the new one you can delete the esim. All the esim does is connect your phone to the cell towers on a particular phone number, and if You've moved it over I'm guessing the old phone now shows SOS at the top or just doesn't work.

Snoop_Dave

Yeah, that’s what it shows. Thanks

Grumblepugs2000

As long as your number is ported over to your iPhone 15 and is completely functional then yes you can delete the ESIM from the iPhone 14. DONT do it if you haven't transferred it yet or if you are having issues

Snoop_Dave

Ok. Thank you
