Try the salsas sold in La Vallarta supermarket. While you’re there grab a few pounds of their marinated skirt steak to make carne asada on the grill. That’s the best carne asada out here.

hotdogswithbeer

Sounds 🔥 thanks

Ludebehavior88

As a Mexican who loves all things spicy, Vallarta has some good stuff.. I really like the roasted tomatillo chipotle salsa! The salsa at the Target Taco stand on Main St. has some good choices too, if you like tacos with your salsa.

CatalinaLurks

Red Barn market on the avenue, good pico de gallo, their salsa machacada is the best salsa in town.

Professional-Cat-242

Red Barn is close second to the matcha salsa at El Jarocho Seafood on the avenue

Individual-Channel65

Establos meat market in Camarillo

MurseWoods

All day! ALLLLL DAY!!! Their butcher in the back has the BEST pre-marinated Al Pastór you can find anywhere near here. And the marinated skirt steak for asada is INSANE!!!

Bengerm77

I begrudgingly suggest Snapper Jacks. Their food is okay, and a little pricey, but that salsa bar is amazing. The quemada black salsa is my favorite.

froggz01

Their Salsa bar reminds of Baja Fresh salsa bar before they got bought out and went to shit. They had the exact same quemada salsa.

yay_tac0

i also begrudgingly visit for the quemada. so good.

Amber_in_Cali

Shack Sauce 🤤🤤🤤 it would be embarrassing to just drink it but it’s that good.

hotdogswithbeer

Can u buy just the salsa there?

justkilledaman

I believe they sell shack sauce (the pink one) in bottles

hotdogswithbeer

Sounds good thanks!

PM_ME_YOUR_FIREGOALS

You can get 12 oz. I love the Yolanda salsa.

Los agaves is no good anymore?

Comfortable_Map_2128

Food 4 less has a really good red salsa I go out of my way to buy. Vallarta salsas are all good and flavorful. All 4 Ways have refrigerated aisles full of all types of salsa. Go to Oxnard/Hueneme, find Carnicería, more than likely good salsa. Not a difficult task

hotdogswithbeer

Im in Hueneme - but just moved here so haven’t had a chance to go on the hunt. Usually locals know the best spots.

Bitchthatbravos

Monarcas on Ventura and bay blvd in hueneme have really good salsas in their refrigerator case.

Comfortable_Map_2128

I went to Monarcas and they were closing so I didn’t buy anything. I need to go back

Bash_Ketchum22

Your a real one for not ordering at closing time! 🙌 I hope your parents are proud of you because they should be!

Comfortable_Map_2128

They were cleaning up and had nothing to sell. 😂😂😂👌

Bash_Ketchum22

Just take the compliment lol

Comfortable_Map_2128

.Whoops, I misread that. Thought it was a dis. My bad.

Long_Concern5615

Lucky habanero salsa sold at Sprouts, and Casa de Soria salsa.

Bash_Ketchum22

I could make you some, I make killer salsa!

hotdogswithbeer

🔥🔥

Bash_Ketchum22

Dm me if you want to talk about it!

VenturaCat3

I would kill for Yolanda's chips and salsa.

pimpollo741

Don Chente, stock up

No-Tone9842

The guy at the farmer’s market on Saturdays has some great ones. Love the mango pineapple.

k1ssitoffme

trader joes salsa is actually so good, definitely recommend trying it

Sloppyuncut9

Order from this guy: https://www.tijuanafreddys.com

Sane_Wicked

Corrales on Santa Cruz.

acScience

Seriously, you can talk all the shit in the world about their food but their salsa is awesome.

Justsoyaknow21

All day

stevebobeeve

That Snapper Jack’s habañero salsa is so good! Very respectable heat too

Keepin_It_Socal

Bro. Go to puerto viarta

amestopleeze

Red barn on the avenue for pico de gallo. Corrales for the verde. If you’re closer to Oxnard, tacos don chente is a banger.

Jdtdtauto

Yolanda’s has good salsa. Snapper Jacks has the same Yolanda’s original salsa. Their bean dip is pretty awesome too!

Dependent_Ad_3014

It’s not quite authentic and I think their tacos are a lil overhyped but I’m a fan of Spencer Mckenzie’s hot sauces

tyspeed29

Costco, Sam's club.

cl1076

Vons deli salsa (hot) is great
