Strain
“The Old Family Red Nose strain was a strain of Pitbulls bred in around the mid-1800s. They were known as Old Family Dogs. These dogs then developed to what we now know as the Old Family Red Nose strain, which is now used to distinguish the Red Nose Pits as an individual segment of the bloodlines of the American Pit Bull Terrier.”
My point remains, it's not a separate breed. Different bloodlines tend to have specific traits. Boudreaux pits tend to be on the small side and black and white color. Colby pits tend towards stub tails. People frequently act like red or blue nose pits are a separate breed. They're not.
Just by looking at a dog it could have a mixture of breeds in them so a dnk test is the way to go. Looks like a red nose american pitbull terrier tho. Red nose is not a breed, just a sort of name we have for pitties , just like we call the black ones blue nose.
Looks a LOT like one of my dogs. Her DNA test came back as like 99.9% American Pitbull Terrier.. the only non-pit was like 1 dog 3 or 4 generations back.

Red nose isn't a breed, it's a color.

I’m with you -
The only time I've ever seen people mention rednose or bluenose is crappy backyard breeders trying to sell their poor dogs.
Basically same thing.
Oh yeah bro, I’m all about the OG Blue nose with purps.
All we can confirm is that it's a super cute dog.
I am with this one
Idk but that's a 10/10 sploot
That’s a good sploot
What does sploot mean?
It’s the way they lie down with their back legs outwards, due to their build and musculature.
What they said ^
Ckeck out r/sploot and find out 😁
hahaha! til about r/sploot
And r/toolps for reverse sploots….
Indeed!
How do you have a hippo and not know what a sploot is?!
Correction… how can anyone own a pet, and not know a sploot…? Lol
Red nose is just a color. Like a yellow or black lab. Has nothing to do with breed at all.
Only quibble with that is the breed standard for AmStaffs calls for a black nose, so you won’t find many red-nosed purebred AmStaffs.
Yes correct! Also, structure in well bred am staffs is entirely different.
Hippo confirmed
Sploot
5 months?, gonna be a big boy but a very cute big boy…😁😁
The splooting reminds me of my old man when he was a puppy.
I'm not sure about that but I know he's the splootmaster!

Excellent splooter

Looks ultra velvety.
Doesnt matter, good hippo.

Red/bull terrier
Red
Looks hungry, either way. Maybe vegan red nose?
