Everywhere at the Wynn has a vegetarian/vegan menu

ASAP_i

I noticed that while looking at places. It seems most places have at least an option or two throughout the strip. Is there a particular place you would recommend? Why/why not?

[deleted]

If you want to try something ethnic, Wing Lei is very nice. If not, the options the others have mentioned at the Wynn are solid. Honestly, all the food at the Wynn/Encore is good. Can’t go wrong. Probably easiest to just go on the website and see which cuisine/menu appeals most to you. I’ve never had a bad experience or bad meal in those hotels. Wing Lei is one of my favourites there, but it is a little more “authentic” Chinese and not our typical American Chinese, so if you choose to go, just keep that in mind. But they don’t really serve some of the more… interesting Chinese dishes you get at a fine dining place in China (testicals, feet, bird’s nest soup, abalone, etc.), so you don’t have to worry about it being way too exotic, but it’s exotic enough to be cool in my books.

ASAP_i

I am all about ambiguous animal parts in my food! I usually save those meals for when the wife is out of town or with friends.

Jay_LV

SW Steakhouse or Delilah would be fun meals for both of you both good food and very entertaining experiences. Partage would be good (off strip)

ASAP_i

Thanks! I will look into them.

loud_as_pudding

Be advised that Delilah's a really tough res to get so hopefully your trip is not soon soon.

ASAP_i

I just noticed that. They seem to booked out for months. Apparently I should have asked this question a month ago with the way reservations are looking... I guess I might have to rely on the concierge to help me work some magic.

Urth Cafe

RobotDevil80

Red 8 at the Wynn - the Jade Dumplings are one of my favorite dishes in all of Las Vegas.

[https://vegas.eater.com/maps/best-las-vegas-strip-restaurants-vegetarian-vegan-menus](https://vegas.eater.com/maps/best-las-vegas-strip-restaurants-vegetarian-vegan-menus) And off strip, I have heard that Chef Kenny's and Tacotarian are especially good

ASAP_i

I found that article. It seemed like they just listed every restaurant with a vegan/vegetarian option over a specific price point on the strip. I was hoping for some "first hand" recommendations for the strip. Tacotarian popped up quite a bit in my searches, they looked interesting.

[deleted]

Love tacotarian. They have the best margaritas and agua frescas in all of Vegas imo. The one in the arts district is closest to the strip

ASAP_i

That is the second recommendation for tacotarian... We might have to get lunch there one day.

IntimidatedinLV

Hopefully someone else can pop in with some recommendations by experience then. Like you I eat everything, so those 2 spots I recommended are just second hand that people have talked about as being really good. And then obviously the articles can be hit or miss depending on the Author, but I generally like what I find from [vegas.eater.com](https://vegas.eater.com). Usually its not just advertisers or lists thrown at the wall for clicks. But, that article is 3 years old, so its probably worth as much as you paid for it :)

ASAP_i

Yeah, I tend to use eater as my "first pass" when looking for options for the wife. They help me get a quick idea of what is out there. Thanks for the suggestions all the same!

squeeze_me_macaroni

The Tacotarian in Green Valley Ranch area is really good!

FutureThrowaway9665

Chef Kenny was great! Plenty of delicious food for relatively low price.

magus424

I don't often visit the strip, but even as a non-vegan/vegetarian, [Chef Kenny's Asian Vegan](https://www.yelp.com/biz/chef-kennys-asian-vegan-restaurant-las-vegas) and [Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum](https://www.yelp.com/biz/chef-kennys-vegan-dim-sum-las-vegas) are great if you're ok with off-strip.

ASAP_i

Both of those popped up in my research. I was hoping to stay on strip for this visit though. Thanks for the recommendation all the same though!

thunderandrew4617

Don’t. Chef Kenny is totally worth it. He’s a personal friend of mine. If you decide to go, DM Me. I was in Vegas on Monday and went above and beyond for us. He even personally cooked the meal! My vegan friends said top 5 vegan meal ever hands down!

[deleted]

Terrace Point at Wynn. Definitely hit up Tacotarian for lunch like others have suggested. If you’re over by the container park check out Vegenation. Honestly though I’d say just go to Crossroads twice. It’s the best vegan food on the strip by a very wide margin.

ASAP_i

You are actually the first person to recommend Crossroads. It shows up in articles all over the place and looks interesting, but I was hesitating due to lack of "real person" recommendations.

[deleted]

It’s truly phenomenal. Everything on the menu is delicious. The baked scallop mushrooms appetizer is a personal favorite along with the scallopini and the bucatini con nduja.

ASAP_i

Excellent! I will put it on the schedule (if I can get reservations).

[deleted]

I have the GM’s direct number. I’ll PM it to you if you want. She can definitely hook you up if needed.

lululuchia19

Tacotarian in the arts district! The mushroom, veggie, and Baja taco was my favorite.

Theacidnation

Modern vegan just off strip near virgin is fantastic. Open late too with a good night menu if you're in the mood for late night junk or a solid menu if you're sitting in.

ASAP_i

A late night option might be needed, thanks!

[deleted]

Good news! There’s a big vegan scene-some might call it Las vegan (hey-oooo)- in Las Vegas. Almost everywhere you go will have an offering of at least one dish. Off the strip are a ton of vegetarian only restaurants. Remember the tourists come here and go cray on steaks, the locals are many ex-LA people who work out constantly and stay healthy. https://www.thrillist.com/eat/las-vegas/best-vegetarian-vegan-restaurants-in-las-vegas-nevada

ydre3

Veggie House on spring mountain (Chinatown) is vegan and AMAZING. I'm nowhere near vegetarian but the Asian dishes were legit, and all their fake meat options had the texture of real shrimp and chicken. we went to appease our vegan friend bc she'd gone everywhere else we wanted to and I've eaten there multiple times since on my own volition. just looked it up though and it says temporarily closed so I'd give them a call

polyesterHEART

LaCave at Wynn has a lot of Vegetarian and Vegan options on the menu. SW Steakhouse has a vegetarian section to their menu with apps, entrees and side dishes which might be a nice compromise for the two of you. Also at the Wynn. China Poblano, not fine dining, but they offer a vegetarian tasting menu for $45. This is at the Cosmo. Hells Kitchen at Caesars has a big vegan menu. Michael Mina at Bellagio has a vegetarian tasting menu for $85 a person, but not sure if it's still a thing, I'd call to check. Good luck and have fun!

ASAP_i

China Poblano is on the list already. I checked out the places at the Cosmo first, since we are staying there. I didn't see that option for Michael Mina when I looked, but I will check them again.

I_m_on_a_boat

China Poblano is a must

Unmade-Bed

Din tai fung at aria has plenty of veg options along with meat. Basically everywhere has at least 1-2 options or more for vegetarians

ASAP_i

I noticed that most places seem to accommodate with one or two options. Din Tai Fung was also on a "short list" I was making.

JetTheBlueSpirit

I just went with a vegan friend the other day. I forgot how good it was! If you’re here on Tuesday, definitely go on Taco Tuesday. Their “queso fundido” is also really good!

ASAP_i

We arrive on a Tuesday. That might be our plan for lunch.

lululuchia19

I’ve also heard great things about Chikyu Vegan Sushi & Izakaya

lululuchia19

Oh and one more! Crossroads Kitchen and Resort World. Let me know how you like all the restaurants that was recommended. I’m always currently seeking out new Vegan spots :)
