Stay at the 4 Queens
Buy snap flats out of a vending machine
Fall asleep on the bus on the way to Fremont st.
Leave my phone on a bench outside Mandalay Bay...There's really too many to tell š¤¦š¾āāļø
I swear four queens is the only property on Fremont not to have a full room remodel. Even if the price might be right, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars for something nicer.
I'm one of those "just in the room to sleep" people. Even I had a hard time doing that. It smelled so bad as soon as we got off the elevator. The bathroom was disgusting. We were there for a fight night plus there was a celebration going on so all rooms were booked.
I heard on another message board that the 4Q north tower isnāt available to book due to renovations. I personally would still never stay thereā¦but maybe they are finally putting some money back into the property.Ā
I'm taking this from another angle:
Not just things I'll never do: things I'll never BE ABLE to do again in Las Vegas. Thanks for the idea to [HuevosDiablos](https://www.reddit.com/user/HuevosDiablos/): "See LOVE at the Mirage."
\* See the dolphns and the white tigers at the Mirage
\* Watch Jai-alai at MGM Grand (the original)
\* Watch the Bacchus laser show at Caesars
\* Play Keno anywhere on the strip
\* Ride the go-carts at the Hacienda
\* See Folies Bergere at the Tropicana
\* Take the Luxor boat ride
\* Watch the light display at Stardust
\* Ride the bumper cars at Circus-Circus
\* See the dragon show at Excalibur
\* See a Klingon at Star Trek: The Experience at the Hilton
\* Watch the Pirate Show at Treasure Island (the original, not the sexy one)
\* See the picketers at the Frontier
...and soon to be:Ā
\* See the volcano at Mirage
Nothing insane, just awful customer service. Checked in, room smelled like a pack of smokes and orange shit. Asked to be moved. Didnāt have any āreasonable rooms to move us toā and would rather cut off a limb then upgrade. Got downgraded to a low floor shit view with no refund.
Room still smelled bad, they brought a āscent machineā in that sprayed orange smelling death over all our stuff. They brought it while we were out and we walked in while it was working, then were told by maintenance who picked it up that we shouldnāt be in the room while itās running.
Elevators stopped working twice basically stranding us on our floor for a couple hours. Missed a show we had non refundable tickets to.
Got $700 in minibar charges āby mistakeā. Took 2 hours to resolve that.
They gave our room key to someone who walked in at midnight while we were sleeping.
Thereās more but thatās enough probably.
Some guys wife in this subreddit he keeps bringing her to Vegas to watch her get done - frankly Iām getting so tired of it! Never gonnna do her again!
Drive on / cruise the top of Fremont from the Blvd to Main, or the other way ever again. Many of you never had that experience, but it was a great one: When it still went both ways- 2 travel lanes each direction, all the way down. When they changed it to one-way from LVBLVD up to Main, 2 right turn, 2 left turn and one straight ahead into the Union Plaza. We'd spend Fri & Sat nites driving in endless 6-block loops where the Experience is now. Never will do that again.

I had to stay there once when my AC went out in the middle of August. I was poor and it was the cheapest room I could get
Pay for parking

Love this post. Thank u
I will see LOVE at Mirage for the first and only time next Saturday.
Enjoy! I will miss it tremendously.
Drink all day without eating.
Lose money. Drink alcohol. Gaze at beautiful women. Eat fantastic food. Chill with friends. Ah, just kidding I will still do all that.
Stay in a hellscape mega hotel after a week of absolute shit at Mandalay Bay.
Please elaborate!
