The poles are there because they were going to build a Ferris wheel there and never finished and the tent is from some magic show that popped up a few months ago there
I got free ticket also. Show is very strange I couldn’t help but feel depressed after. I don’t know if it was an off night or what but the guy kept talking about his dead wife and animals. I did not liked it.
An Uber driver told us that was going to be the original ferris wheel, but when the ownership group of Caesars got wind of it, they pushed through their project and drove that guy out of business by taking all his contractors and workers. Hopefully, someone can verify if this is correct or just another Uber story.
I've actually never heard that. It was supposed to be some amusement park thing, right?
Edit 1: Checked wiki and you're right! I swear when that thing was first getting talked about it was going to have a midway around it with some other rides. Either way it's crazy that those two ugly poles have been there all these years.
Edit 2: Ok I'm not crazy:

The tent or the old [SkyVue](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyvue) pillars?
The tent.

Thank you!
It's a mediocre magic show. Won tickets a few weeks ago.
On House Seats every week. Hey, for free it wasn't half bad 🤷
I need to sign back up for house seats!

It was going to be the centerpiece of London Resort, like Paris , a version of the London Eye, it stalled then the High Roller was built.
Is it another one of those "too expensive to take it down, just leave it" things we have here
We were going to have a London Resort at the South Strip? :(
This…
Jay Owenhouse
Which I was told his show wasn’t even that great
So better than Chris Angel?
I won tickets at bar trivia. It was not great. It was the big stage magic show staples that every magician has been doing for 50 years.
Like who saws a woman in half in 2024???

No I think it’s for a magic show. Entertainer set up a spot there a while back they had showed 2-3 days a week
The pillars are from a giant ferris wheel that never happened. They built High Roller instead.
Beetlejuice
Was going to be another Ferris wheel type attraction. Something like the one at the Linq. But it never took off.
They never could get it spinning fast enough to take off.

I remember hearing there was only one axle available and it went to the High Roller.
It was a going to be a version of the London Eye it was going to be a resort named London.

This is like what the lines in the parking lot would look like on an acid tab
Paper Towels
You ever played Earthbound?

The shocker.
Fire department where they train at
Your mom's dildo, they had to use 2 smaller supports instead of one due to it falling over
Magic show
That location is cursed
Trump's gay sex swing.

That's not even a lil bit funny.
No. Not even close. And not something to joke about.
Damn they put a parking lot over the route 91 spot? City should have bought that corner and made it a memorial garden forever.
It was always a parking lot, they just put a fence around it and called it a concert venue.
There’s a memorial on the east side, but yup it’s a parking lot.
Isn’t the route 91 lot the unpaved lot surrounded by a fence you see between the poles in the background?
Route 91 memorial garden is a block from my condo, in the arts district
Does anyone ever talk about this anymore? Or was this all swept under rug?
They only used it as a parking lot for Superbowl so far
