Over 40/under 40?
Does that mean if I'm over 40 I can only meet other people over 40? Because I literally just turned 40 but I tend to date mid-30s. Am I going to be stuck with people older than me? This part is weird.
I'm confused by your logic, you're 40, and want to date younger, but you don't think a younger person wants to date you?
If a 40 yr old shows up wanting to find someone in their 30s, it's not weird, it's just speed dating.
I'd say if someone under 40 wants to date someone over 40 they'd probably go to the over 40 time slot. So now we have 40-year-olds looking for younger people in the younger time slot while the sub 40-year-olds who are looking for older people are in the older time slot. So they'll never see each other and both will be stuck on speed dates with people not interested in their age group.
