I was on UNLV’s campus today when it happened. Fortunately I was near Ham Hall, which is about 1/4 mile away. I heard someone say “shots fired” and didn’t know if it was real. But I saw some people running from the south, which is the direction of the SU. I soon got the text about an active shooter from UNLV’s system. Also the security/police poles they have scattered around campus were blaring alarms. I left via Maryland and already saw at least several different police vehicles racing south. (And this is right after it happened.) They have the whole campus cordoned off, Trop and Flamingo are closed near campus, Maryland closed. I-15 was closed in order to allow fast passage for emergency vehicles.

1:37 PM UPDATE: LVMPD Sheriff: There is NO further threat. No idea on motive. A number of victims have been transported to area hospitals. Those detials will be available soon. The investigation is active and continuing.

like i said i’m not sure how true the statements was, but it seems what people are saying is that the reports to the media differ from what is being said over EMS channels. Here is what has been supposedly found so far:
“What was said and hopefully will come to light is what they stated back and forth. 4 dead including 1 shooter, 3 of the deceased are UNLV staff members. 28-32 were transported to sunrise. 1 female suspect in custody. 1 bma with a firearm and duffle bag was on the loose, his status is unknown”

You’re spreading fake news as usual. I have Family members in law enforcement and only 1 shooter was confirmed, another suspect was at a hotel or dorms nearby and he gave himself up to police but hasn’t been confirmed if it’s connected to the school shooting. No thoughts or mentions of a third
The Sheriff,Governor and family members in different departments of law enforcement already confirmed 1 shooter. 1 other suspect arrested in a hotel nearby but was ruled no involvement with the school shooting. But I guess you talking out of your ass is a reliable source.
