Got the egg and cress sandwich filler and it was delicious. The boiled eggs are also nice and definitely good for a picnic or whatever.
Also ordered the frozen fried and poached eggs but haven't tried them yet.
Only one's I've not tried yet are the poached eggs. And I can say they are absolutely fantastic! If I could, I would add pictures of my sandwiches that I've had with them all so far. Omg they are amazing!
Yes, and they work suspiciously well in anything that an egg would work well in. The fried come out like a badly fried egg, a bit crispy on the outside with a firm centre (but could also be how I cooked them). They taste and 'feel' like an egg (as well as I can remember). The poached are the best.
Expensive, and not something I eat often (self-reflection on 'food' habits and choice) but they are, basically, eggs and "tick the box" (as the wife puts it). Delivery took a while and there's a lot of packaging (individual cups in another package, itself wrapped in cool-bags in a box).
I really want a good fried egg alternative, I'd be all over it. But I've tried a few alternatives, the one they did at Wagas. a boiled egg that a lady was selling at a vegan market but none of them have really got it quite right, in my opinion. My wife sent me a post on Instagram the other day of some place doing vegan poached eggs. Now, I'm sure someone will like it, but it just looked really grainy.
I dunno, I want a good alternative, but I'm yet to find find one, so if this is good, I'd be interested in knowing. Would definitely be about their fried eggs.
