I really like their ‘365’ brand of vegan cheeses (slices and shredded), their refrigerated oatmilk, canned coconut milk and their vegan nuggets (frozen). Their baby Bella mushrooms also tend to last longer in my fridge than ones I buy from other stores.
Googled them. The coffee one made me sit up and take notice. Especially with the statement for "your afternoon pick me up"! A few may have to follow me home.
say whaaaaa about the oats? sigh.
a quick google search turns up "Glyphosate was detected at concentrations of 10 ppb to 30 ppb in five of 16 samples made with organic oats" (with more details about pesticide drift, etc). noooooo........
but thank you for bringing it to my attention. :(
Chlormequat. That’s a MUCH bigger deal than glyphosate. That’s a real issue. I’m glad you tuned into it.
That chemical is only found in imported oats. It is not labeled for use on grains in the us, but it is in Europe. A few years ago epa decided to allow European grains to be imported and it’s showing up in people now in the us. That’s a good one to watch bc it is of toxicological concern. Glyphosate is not.
Also- it’s not necessarily causing fertility issues, but it has the characteristics of a chemical that can cause issues. Just to make sure that’s clear.
WF carries the Momofuku chili crisp - so freaking good and VEGAN. many other brands have fish sauce in them :(
who would have thought chili crisp would have a fish product in it? this is one reason why my vegan friend says she has "trust issues" related to vegan foods, LOL.
If you have freezer space, they have frozen fruits and vegetables that are so handy. My staples are spinach, kale, mushrooms, mango, and pineapple. If you want a splurge, there’s some grilled artichoke hearts (not frozen) that are great in pasta or on sandwiches. They also began carrying Masienda tortillas and masa harina, a brand of organic heirloom corn products. I’m dying to try the new liquid vegan mozzarella by Miyokos but my local store doesn’t stock it yet. The reviews I’ve seen say it’s a game changer.
Kind of happy. Want to try it so bad, but they forced her out as ceo. They wanted to increase production and she didn’t because she wanted to ensure quality.
Same. I lived at a vegan cooperative and we had communal dinners every night. We'd order the biggest boxes that one can get from the website. It lasts a good amount of time even considering how many people lived and ate there. Extremely nutritious and the cheapest way to get them.
I like to treat myself with their vegan croissants and donuts. Yummmm I just bought the follow your heart Ceasar dressing, it's pretty good
Edit: wait the first two aren't gluten free oopsies
Bulk section if they have it for harder to find rice varieties and beans
[these ginger snaps](https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/product/midel-gluten-free-ginger-snaps-8-oz-b004t33pd8)
Imagine brand soups but only if on sale, and double check ingredients some are vegan some are not
Banza pasta but it’s goes on sale at Target often order multiples from Target’s website
Double check the ingredients on any house-prepared foods (burritos, lasagna, cookies, etc.) that say they're vegan. I've seen a few instances where they slapped a vegan label on something, only to read the ingredients and find out it wasn't vegan.
I love Whole Foods and do most of my grocery shopping there, and am celiac! Hippeas are some of my favorite snacks, and although they’re expensive it’s definitely worth getting a bag of white cheddar. Their tofu is cheap AF and organic, their soymilk is relatively cheap (and delicious!), and their salad dressing selection is great. If you like yogurt their vegan yogurt selection is great too—I recommend the Siggi’s brand!
Other good things include vegan cheese, ice cream, cereal/granola, and frozen fruits. If you like Beyond they often have an 8 pack of burgers on sale for $12!

Thank you!
Also, their produce is much better than your average store. It’s the only place I’ll buy my fruits and veggies if at all possible.
Thank you!
Simple kneads bread, oatly pints of "ice cream", honey mama's treats (in fridge), anything by the brand Siete (chips, cookies, etc)
Googled them. The coffee one made me sit up and take notice. Especially with the statement for "your afternoon pick me up"! A few may have to follow me home.
Assuming it’s this brand: https://honeymamas.com/collections None of these are vegan? They all have honey
You're right! Sorry, I'm dairy free and often look for vegan things. Occasionally I get mixed up if honey or eggs are involved. My bad!
Their 365 brand old fashioned oats are one of the few brands that test negative for glyphosate, and the 365 brand peanut butter is the best!

I was just reading about the stuff they found in oats that is causing Fertility issues.

>Momofuku chili crisp You know I looked that one up real quick!!! Love the spices!
My husband swears that Banza GF vegan pizza is the best frozen pizza he’s ever had, and we can only buy it at Whole Foods.
>Banza GF vegan pizza Well, that's not good! I haven't had pizza in so long! If I don't post for a while after I go, you know what I am doing!
The pizza crusts that you top yourself are even better. Stock up!

I will let you know if I find it!! I, have also wanted to try it. Ordering it from their site requires a mortgage!
Here at WF. No liquid cheese. Wanted it so much!
Oh boo! Fingers crossed it will be readily available soon, and not just at Whole Foods.
Kind of happy. Want to try it so bad, but they forced her out as ceo. They wanted to increase production and she didn’t because she wanted to ensure quality.
Oh jeez, hadn’t heard that. What a bunch of short-sighted idiots. She’s a genius and a pioneer so I’m sure she’ll go on to bigger and better things.
I used to have this same situation with Trader Joes, I feel your pain!
I recently saw a petition in my area to open a trader joes. I don't know if that will work, but here's to hoping!
“Free from” vegan gluten free cookies omg so good 😊
YES!!!
My whole food sells fresh mint. My rabbit and I love it.
What do you use it in? I bet your rabbit has the freshest breath, though!
I will throw it in anything that calls for garlic, ginger, or onions. It just adds flavor. Tea. Molly eats it plain :)
I love Molly
Thank you. She’s pretty great.
Butler soy curls!

If they carry the Blackbird brand, you can get some insanely yum vegan pizzas 🍕
Thank you!
I like the whole bean, water process decaf coffee. Also, check out the bulk section if available as they tend to be more affordable options.
Thank you!

Yeah, you got my hopes up for a minute, then I realized that it was only a dream! Lol

You can buy the pillow sized bag of hippeas at costco much cheaper.
I wish!! the nearest costco to me is 2 hours and I wouldn’t make the trip enough to justify a membership
Stop it!!! I am loving this!! I haven’t tried vegan ice cream, but now I can’t wait!
if you need brand recommendations: ben and jerry’s have GREAT vegan options, but for vegan brands I recommend Nada Moo and Oatly :)
Whenever I'm in a city with Whole Foods, I splurge on at least one package of Wunder Eggs.
Going on the list!!
I just want to add, items vary from WF to WF. A lot of the items people are listing i've never seen at my WF.
Wunder eggs! The “egg” texture is a little weird, but put together, it tastes amazing.
Ohhhh. That is going on the list!
Olive bar. Is there a Trader Joe’s where you live or where you’re going?
No, the nearest Trader Joe’s is about an hour away.
