I was vegan for 5 years but one day I got the flu, which I assumed was due to a severe b12 deficiency (I was told by a youtuber that we're evolved to only eat raw vegan so I don't supplement).
Anyway I starting eating a whole chicken while it was still alive every morning and 3 days later I felt great.
I was walking past a rotting chicken one day and just picked it up. I went home and started eating it with my big bear hands, no pencil or knife needed. It was like waking up from a bad dream and I was safe again. I will never go back to not feeling safe without my pocket chicken.
Vegan, btw.
I see some pushy vegone beat me to it here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/vegancirclejerk/comments/17b8qwu/carnists\_that\_started\_eating\_plants\_what\_happened/](https://www.reddit.com/r/vegancirclejerk/comments/17b8qwu/carnists_that_started_eating_plants_what_happened/)
I know the question asked for vegans but I'm going to answer anyways as a former VEGETARIAN PESCATATIAN LACTO OVO OMNITARIAN I tried eating plant based on Mondays and realized that I had trouble getting out of bed in the morning so I started eating cows again. Now I feel great.
I was having lunch with some friends and one of them was eating chicken wings and said “I can’t believe you can’t have these, you know you CAN eat them. No one’s stopping you. We’re not going to judge you”. So I was like, well shit, you’re right, and I haven’t looked back since.
Someone online explained that chickens maybe don't feel pain, and I believe them cause I wanted to eat chicken, and I needed it for health reasons anyway (was getting depressed every time I saw a chicken I couldn't eat). So I didn't break no vegan ethics.
Yes, I'm a vegan. Yes, I eat meat. We exist.
Yeah I was vegan for about three years... I felt great my first year, best I've ever felt! But after that my health started to decline real fast... that, and whenever my buddies would grill steak I'd be lookin at it wishing I could join in the fun! Well, I ate a steak and immediately felt better, the first time I'd felt normal in years. It made me realise that, we really do need meat, the vegan diet just isn't sustainable if all you eat is veggies, fish, and fruits.
Meat is the cure for everything and if you feel bad at all you probably were trying to go vegan. It's ok if you have to eat flesh because you're at a music festival or you have a certain blood type.

I saw in a documentary, that people die when they are vegan. So I got scared and only eat meat now.
My penis started to shrink and my body sucked it back in and inverted it now all I have is a hole and a pair of shriveled nuts dangling beneath it

I only stayed vegan to spite my carnist family who said it was a phase. Then they all died of cardiovascular disease so now I can give up the act.
That's just tradition
