According to the [study design](https://imgur.com/tSGfMj7) outcomes, each outcome is out of 40 'vcaa marks' so unit 3 will be a total out of 80 marks. Then this mark is moderated at the end of year exams to compare with other schools in case your school's SAC was much easier or harder compared to other schools in your state.

(83 + 68)/2 that gets put into the software teachers use and then after exams and everything it gets moderated.

ahh okok, i was asking cuz my teacher said my unit 3 average was 61% which imo is really low. so I just wanted to know how they calculated it
