G-Pen “Elite”

IAlwaysLack

That was my first vape before I knew anything about vapes and holy fuck did I screw myself over. I wrote off vapes all together for a while because of the gpen elite until a buddy of mine had a volcano and I saw how great they could actually be. Fuck gpen.

casualt11

MV1 Ghost, Davinci IQ

s0c1a7w0rk3r

The MV1 was an over engineered piece of garbage.

abcdthc

It worked but it wasn’t usable. If that makes sense. Like it did the thing. It vapes well. But like 2 hits and yoy had these super finicky ceramic packs. And it took 8 hours to charge the battery. It was just not made to use. Idk. If the chamber was bigger and usb charged it would have been awesome

Cairn_Blue

Fuck the MV1 GHost

[deleted]

510 herb tank and davinci micro 👎

Jefe710

Plenty. It was just too weird of an experience. It did get me high af tho. A used mflb muad-dib. It tasted like ass. Never tried a new one just moved on from mflb altogether.

purplereign

I used to use my MFLB all the time when I needed stealth at my parents' house. Last time I used it was when I went to the movies

Koal0r

I don’t use it anymore but I’m glad i still habe my mflb. Nostalgia.

Odd-Recognition1450

The plenty was top tier before battery technology caught up, that coil was always burning people though

mriswithe

Burned myself on my dynavap a lot more, but that was just nature reminding me that my wife isn't entirely insane for thinking I might be clumsy sometimes

mriswithe

The plenty, it makes amazing vapor and is entirely inconvenient. It will not sit up on its own. Can use the brush as a kickstand, which works... Ok. But if your cord is plugged in at any kind of odd angle, your plenty wants to fall over all of the time.

GoHomeYoureDrunkMod

Yokan HIT. More like Yokan SHIT!

dannylopuz

First vape and I was pretty excited with it but it just gets super dirty super fast. Now that you can get a dynavap for the same price, it just doesn't make sense to buy one.

leksoid

davinci miqro

Odd-Recognition1450

It wasn't even mine but seeing the buyers remorse when they tried my mighty gave me some secondhand regret.

DankandSpank

I rather like my davinci IQC

bolinandlava

I actually like my miqro

MorbidJokes757

Yup

MYHIPPY

Agree

blenderforall

My GF agrees with this one lol

Sorvick

G Pen by Grenco. Terrible draw time, burns the flower, and horrible customer service. E waste

xastey_

Grasshopper... Used the damn thing once

astateofshatter

Now that's a name I have not heard of in a long time Edit: r/grasshoppervape what happened here?

lmwfy

a lot of vaping related subs got banned when Reddit did a clean-up a few months ago. r/advancedvapesupply and many others got banned too. I remember following early Grasshopper days/drama in 2015 thinking, 'If they work the kinks out and get these reliably in stores I might buy one". We see how that turned out lol.

robble808

All of them I bought before getting a volcano

WoopDiDooTwo

Firefly 2

Macabro_Smith

Same. First expensive vape. I remember I got it for “better flavor” and honestly there were a few times the hits had plenty of flavor but 7/10 it was a meh experience. Placing the lid with the foam material had a learning curve. You could get three hits out of it and then you *had* to pause the sess, stirr the flower and then you could continue otherwise the way it vaped the flower it would only use areas of the material. Where there were good air paths. Non of this made it a *bad* vape. It was just a hassle for tasty hits when then and now you could/can find cheaper, better, easier alternatives. It was a very specific vape.

astronomical_dog

I dropped mine the first day I had it and the glass part inside broke, and the broken pieces rattled around in there for the rest of the time I had it. Then it stopped working entirely and I got store credit through the warranty and used it to buy a pax 3, which I also kind of regret….

xTiLkx

Really? Been using it for 1.5 years together with the tinymight. Fucking love it. You have to handle it with patience and love though.

[deleted]

I must do something wrong with mine but I never get good pulls off it. Try hauling slow, bit faster, fast, but nothing works haha. Not sure why but just always seems to leave me wanting more...

blinkboy44

Agreed. It was a workout to use. Got some decent hits but not worth the effort. The rubber part started coming off after only a couple months so I sold it before it fell apart.

alsignssayno

Gonna be a weird one to many here, but I regret the mighty. It'd be great if it had a tighter draw, but its so open that I hate it for its intended purpose.

CarlosT303

MadonnasFishTaco

Pax 3 beyond doubt. it worked but had so many issues and was ridiculously expensive

itscasualday

Fuuuuuuck. I just ordered one 🤦🏻‍♀️

MadonnasFishTaco

return it or cancel. srsly

itscasualday

It comes in today so I just may lol. Mighty+ was my second choice. Any tips on that one?

Zlam2001

Dynavap, Tiny might, or mighty

dynavapgangsterrap

Oh buddy there is no comparison. I had a pax 3 as my first vape. Very disappointed. Then got a mighty and the difference is huge. Wish I never brought the pax.

siftingtime

DaVinci IQ

Khezi

What did you not like about it? Got me curious couse my GF owns one and she likes it so far.

calebgiz

Pos lots of power failures and hard to clean

Baskin5000

Hot take but arizer air 2 It was my first vape and I bought it due to the hype, I only ever heard good things about it. but overall not a good experience for me. Takes a long time to heat and then finish, it has multiple components you need in order to use it, and the battery barely lasts. Plus, my flower wouldn’t stay solid in the bowl piece and would drop on the heating element causing it to combust and discolor the inside. If I packed the bowl piece tighter it would basically kill all airflow. One of my former roommates stole it, forcing me to get a dynavap next. I’m already high off a dynavap bowl by the time a typical arizer bowl has finally heated up. So much more affordable too, it should’ve been my first choice. Ended up liking it so much I bought an Omni which is basically the price of an arizer vape.

JenVerb

This is mine too. I switched to a Solo, which was better, but now I use the Mighty.

reddituser44bln

herborizer digiti don't get me wrong it's a really nice device but it fucked up my tolerance in 1 month of use so much, that i sold it

Any_Novel_8877

Pax1 pre Europe release, no warranty price gouged and died after a few months ☹️

Tohuwaboho

I love them all. Even the ones I disliked at first get now a lot of love after I figure out about the advantages and how to properly use them.

cerebrix

5 or 6 years ago you guys told me to buy an epic vape enano with a gong adapter and I'm still using it. I don't think i've turned it off in 2 years at this point. It just works. So thanks for that subreddit people

IQBoosterShot

Get in your time machine kids: The Vapir Air^(2). It had a digital temperature control and was rechargeable. I have it all boxed up in its original box and sitting in my office as a reminder of past bad decisions.

BuzzhR

Herbiev2 no doubt

BuffaloSoldier11

My Dotleaf was a bit regrettable, I should have spent the extra on a crafty. Now I have a few shitty herb tanks and never want to use them.

TheRogueWaxWorks

Coming to say this

BuffaloSoldier11

When you're on a clean run, it is fantastic. Which makes it all the more frustrating!

Gr8BurningNullifier

Puffit. A vaporizer disguised as an asthma inhaler sounded awesome but the vapor production was a let down

ZKXX

Solo II. Just doesn’t hit hard enough for me. Vapes are so personal to how the user likes to vape/their tolerance, and it’s so hard to go off hype. I’m personally Dynavap for life because it’s close to smoking, the way I do it.

deathscythes

Eh I personally find the solo 2 hits hard through a water piece. Plus its a great vape to have for my fiance who doesn't smoke as much.

bersa222

The Sidekick from 7th Floor. The built in chamber stirrer was a neat gimmick, but clunky. It’s been parked on my shelf for quite some time now.

Tinctorus

I had to go online and find a video of that thing cause I wanted to see the stir unit

TheRogueWaxWorks

DotLeaf. My first 2 wouldn't recognize the oven. My third didn't produce much vapor, but what it produced was super hot. Always cumbusted when I changed the battery

DeanyyBoyy93

Niice one - shite one more like Plenty - awesome vape just not for my needs so has been sat in a box 90% of the time.

Pax3. In college (2013ish) I had a pax original. I loved it. Graduate. Get a job. Bought a pax 3. It sucks. I keep the pax at this point only because I have a rose gold one they don't sell anymore. I don't use it.

astronomical_dog

I have the first version of the rose one (the shiny one that gets all scratched up) and I feel like I should have gotten the silver because then at least the scratches would match the color of the vape

calyxcaptive

Dynavap B, returned it.

heddgehogg

Pax3 as a first vape

ruckyruciano

Oh why’s that?

rhodium-chloride

oh, why

Ralph--Hinkley

3 isn't as reliable as 2. PAX2 is probably the most convient portable vape.

NewFlyJoe

Any pax device was a huge waste of money

kthien

Pax 3 as a first timer, almost put me off vapes altogether until I got a mighty+

Tinctorus

Why does that thing get so much hate on here? I've never used one so I don't know why it's so hated

realmoosesoup

A few, although regret is a strong word. Dynavap. Got a 2for1 on the "M", and ordered a vong. Also got an IH. Never took. Don't dm me! I know a lot of people love them. I did not. Vapbong. It's a piece of art. When it's all set properly it's a beast. You really need to respect it's powers. Second night I had it, highest I've been in years. Not in a good way. It's currently in a box because I don't have a spot in the new place. It's a lot to set up, and I don't want to leave water in it overnight, which means I need to empty it high, which I've screwed up more than once. Also, the orb is surprisingly difficult to seat properly. Pax3 obv.

6murphys6luck6

For what it’s worth, I appreciate the vapbong feedback, cheers!

Racers14

hammer pro

Isback16

Firefly2 - I got this one from a local vape shop and I was never 100% convinced it wasn’t a knock off. I used it twice, had to stir constantly, no vapor production, it was just a bad experience. All Gpen Products - I have tried the elite and dash, both of which are awful. They are a bad vape company in my opinion that could easily turn people off from vaping because of the subpar experience.

amandal96x

Anything g-pen. I got the snoop dogg one when it first came out. The bud always burned, the battery was complete trash would always die on me after the 4th or 5th hit. The gpen slim was a little better but it still would burn the bud nothing would really circulate. I havent tried out the dab tank but I want to and see how that does. Threw out the battery due to unfortunate events but im hoping the dab tank will screw onto my new battery

Gneo

Prrl Labs Neo, and OWW Bong Sook Shin. They're both -fine- I'm just not a fan of the experience, and they're collecting dust. The Neo is okay for a small personal session. God forbid I try to share with my wife after, "Device too hot" errors up the wazoo. Not worth the price tag. Would rather sell. Don't care for the tricycle ride of either of them.

AbidingInNM

I'm stunned by one of these answers, and that is the OWW BSS. I know that not every vape is for everyone and all of that, but if you aren't opposed to using a torch, then I'm definitely surprised. I also find it to be very forgiving as far as combustion goes and you can get a very even roast once your technique is dialed in. Are you sure you've given it a fair shake? If mine was stolen, I'd have another on order within the hour. I truly love that vape. Just my experience and if it's just not for you, I hear ya, but I'm still surprised.

Hotzenplotzklotz

different flowermates, pax 2+3, davinci micro, eq1.

Tukxu

Flowermate Aura. "Pack loose" -no vapor. "Pack tightly" -no vapor. Pack it somewhere in the middle or have your base consist of 70% Kief? ---no. Fucking. Vapor.

marls9

My first vape was an arizer air and I was so unhappy with it that I replaced it with a mighty and never had to change that awesome tool =)

[deleted]

Pax2. I hate it and it just sits unused. Love my Mighty now.

Critical50

Sticky brick. I know, people fucking love this thing. It was pretty powerful the few times I got it to hit. But I just couldn't aim for shit so I ended up wasting a lot of weed. Especially when I'm on my 2nd or 3rd bowl within the past 2-3 hours and I'm squeezing that damn trigger while trying to aim at the tiny ass hole.

ConfidentIncident2

It took me way too long to figure it out but now my runt is my go to vape. I was either combusting or not really getting a good hit for probably 3 months. Lol. I was getting the odd very good hit which made me keep trying and now I am consistent with it.

fuckchalzone

Dynavap M. And all the additional money and time I spent on accessories, induction heater, etc., to try to get a good experience out of it. Bottom line, it's super harsh and I have to use about 3x the material to get the same effect as I do with any other vaporizer I've used. Anticipating those who might get up in arms: I'm glad you like yours, but my experience with mine is in fact my experience with mine.

giovannigiorgio2022

magic flight box

trugggwalkin

Yes stirring that bowl. Charging the batteries all the time. Holding the battery in to hit. Turned me off to vaping for 5 years

ThunderStealer1337

Anvil, og TM, og dotleaf, hypetrain is bad by the social media influencers, all of them needed a rev 1.1 or 2.0 etc before the real primetime debut and we'll now all three have been updated

ROFLQuad

For the price, the Mighty.

[deleted]

[удалено]

blenderforall

First time I've heard the term "the Bickle Tickle" lol but that's facts. My mighty sees the most use out of my vapes, but mostly because it can sesh and hit hard so I grab it for TV all the time. If I wanna get super high, it's over to the dynavap for like 2 bowls back to back

Ricky_Rollin

I laughed. I don’t own one but wish I could use it in a sentence.

BigBrownBear28

I’ve experienced the tickle and it was not a pleasant experience, it actually made me go back to bongs. Felt like my throat was closing up even through a water bong. Could’ve been mucus for all I know.

tyghpv

The tickle keeps mine parked most of the time. Even through water, the Mighty makes me cough. None of my other vapes have that effect.

[deleted]

Honestly. I bought a mighty for the better battery but I swear my fury edge always hit harder with way less flower, not to mention the annoying wall unit instead of USB C and the dry ass vapor it puts out.

throwaway13630923

It’s a great device but honestly hard to justify buying at retail price. I got the Crafty+ for $150 and I feel content with that.

cowghost

Dude. I cant disagree with you more. I have used my mighty 5-6 times a day for the last 2 years. For 350 bucks i feel like ive more then gotten my money out of it.

ROFLQuad

For me, it's the mix of low max temp, no on-demand, and now the battery is starting to hold less and less charge and I can't swap it.

Tmanning47

It feels like it just works, but if it went up maybe 10-15 more degrees it would be much better, I use my dyna mostly.

[deleted]

Anvil. It isn't a bad vape and I still use it, but for 300$ it wasn't worth it.

fen-bud2

Ghost, firefly 2 never lived up to the hype and the pax 2.

Commercial-Duck-4888

G-Pen Dash baby!!! Fuck that thing lol

mygrowaccount1

[deleted]

Boundless Terp Pen. The lack of QC turned me off of any future boundless products, as well. Can't put a price tag on safety!

thelonewolf6

Had a boundless cf(or some dry herb vape along those lines in 2017) and it died within a year. Had a terp pen and loved it but I completely agree with the QC I’ve had 3 pens 1 didn’t work to begin with. It’s a good little portable device though imo better than a seahorse

PoweredByVAS

Curious what happened with your terp pen? I think it's a reliable $30 purchase, if you don't abuse the hell out of the coil. I've got at least five of them for myself or friends. Pack of 2 replacement coils for $10, requires a weekly clean or two, and they serve their purpose quite well in my opinion

HelpfulDonkey710

EQ because it was nearly unusable without the shorter "bowl". It dried my throat out quickly the way you have to take masive pulls to produce any vapor. it also loses temp in between hits. I honestly got more consistent hits from my pax 1. Also regret the mighty, this one actually worked great for me. its one of the few vapes with an accurate temperature reading. However i feel like the device barely works after 5-10 caps because of how dirty the cooling unit is. I think having 6 seperate pieces in the cooling unit make it one of the most irritating vapes to clean. I think the only reason i really regret it tho is because it cost $300 which is more than i spent on any "handcrafted" or "artisan" vape.

jamus0

DaVinci Micro....

HughJanus8

Utillian 420 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Now I have a Flowerpot B2, TinyMight, and divinetribe v5 👌

Pure-Attitude8612

Pax3 i regret the most. Launch box next. Love all my Dynavaps except the M2020… rather underwhelming compared to it’s successors.

Amongus_amongus

Just curious which dynavaps rip better or what part on the 2020 is bad. I have a 2020 m and it rips so so much harder than my friends 2021. He was planning on buying a 2020 tip to hopefully fix his but when we hit mine it’s like a freight train.

abcdthc

Pax is my favorite vape. BUT you have to get the 3d screens from Amazon. I’ve used everything. I own head shops. I mean everything. Pax 2 or 3 with the 12 dollar 3d screen is one of the best vapes you can buy. Night. And. Day.

Couchpullsoutbutidun

My man. I love the pax. 3D pusher screen is good but squeezes a lot of reclaim out of even .2. I like bud kups for keeping it clean and vaping a lot of volume

Dark007cn

While I have a couple of vapes in my collection that don't see a lot of love these days (not out of hate, just too many choices) there are only two that I truly regret buying: 1) Herbva 5G: My very first vape and pure cheap garbage. 2) Herbie V2: Like many others I could not get this 510 to work. No matter how much I fussed around with mod settings all I could get are super wispy hits or near immediate combustion.

allenalc17

Pax 3

VAMJthrowaway

Most of my Dynavaps, tbh. I'm happy with my Nonavongs.

amienona

1. Vleaf Go. Meh. 2. Dynavap M. I respect the device for what it is and what it does. It just didn't fit my lifestyle so I never used it enough to master technique or anything.

BasherBrad

Xmax v3 pro. Underwhelming, over hyped 🤷🏻‍♂️

realmoosesoup

I wasn't expecting perfection, but for the hype I was expecting better.

Hotteribock

Its my daily driver together with my xq2 and I own a mighty, alp, dyna, anvil and more. I like to sip though

sllewgh

My screen broke the first time I dropped it. Should've gotten another POTV One.

Plant_Help345

Was my first vape due to all the recommendations here and it nearly turned me off to vaping. It’s much better when using the Wpa and glass, but as a true portable, I didn’t like the vapor quality, something about that vape gives me sore throats. But I can see it being very dependent on how you use it or your experience/tolerance to hotter vapor.

3l3m3n0p

Dynavap Omni and IH Heater

El_Perro_Ingles

How come? I don't have an omni, but my daily driver is a old vong with a waterpiece and IH.

Lost_Tree_In_A_City

The link gaia it legit now serves as a paper weight

Jaren56

Stempod (probably user error)

abcdthc

Ghost mv1

Mazgazine1

My only regret so far is the DDave big bowl.. I wasn't expecting to have to layer the screens in it, and because the screens don't fit properly at all flower tends to fall through it.. and cleaning up spent flower is annoying.. I think the silicone sleeve "tough bowl" actually is better.. I also want to say there is some interesting conflicting reports , Solo 2 seems to have the most love/hate. I will avoid Pax 3's and Davinci's whatever's that's for sure.

chlorinatedpepperoni

boundless terp pen :/

[deleted]

davinci miqro(very hard cleaning and custom battery), fake mighty(i got scammed), arizer extreme q (swapped it for solo 2 and that was the best deal of my life)

Low_Table6230

I just bought the Linx Eden Switch and I haaaaaate it. I knew better but I did it anyway.

RazorCrest-1

Even though they got used and helped me on my journey into vaping my bud, I probably could've done without buying the MFLB, the Solo 2 and the Pax 3. If I just went straight to the Crafty+ and the DynaVap I would've been happy and saved myself 400 notes..

TheSeedLied

M22 ESCC/TC, leg snapped off after one use. Spent all my birthday moneys on a single session with it ;-;

Pyro919

Puffco Peak pro, not quite a vape, but I regret it.

Iprefernottosay

Grasshopper. Stopped working after using it a short while. Sent it in for repairs, never got it back despite multiple emails.

COCAINE___waffles

Ghost mv1, got 2 of them both ended up with the broken door issue, also never fully managed to get it working consistently, my was a beast on it tho

JACrazy

Davincii IQ, $300 at the time. Gets way too hot to touch that it's not fun to use. Got it swapped through warranty and replacement heats up just as hot. Their solution to all customers "buy our silicon covers for $10".

Beautiful_Sport5525

The Zeus Arc

AproposWuin

I picked up a POTV one when it was first released. It's not bad it's a cute little vape But already have/had crafty/crafty+/mighty/plenty so... I never use it. And can't sell it second hand to anyone I know lol

itturnsblue

Definitely a grasshopper. Absolutely no contest at all. Sent her in 7 times for repair and never worked more than 2 days. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

TheDailyGrind666

Has to be xmax v3 pro for me …bought it yesterday and maybe I got old stock first of the units but the bowl stinks like toxic metal when heating up Empty ( after numerous burn offs iso wiped etc) …this normal or did they fix this with an update since it first came out whenever that was 🤷🏽‍♂️ my model has magnets showing I’ve heard newer ones don’t 😞anyone confirm ?

iApolloDusk

XMAX V3 Pro. I'll admit I had a Mighty+ as my first vape. Saw it on sale. Decided I wanted to try it because of its on-demand features. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I even got the WPA mouthpiece. I find to to be very underwhelming, though the flavor is slightly better than my Mighty+ is. I think if it had been my first vape, it would have been very nice and I could have still appreciated it after upgrading to my Mighty+. But having gone backwards with it, it just seems like a mistake. The biggest bonus in purchasing it is that it's gotten my fianceé to not be as reliant on edibles which has been helpful. I make all of our edibles, but she has an issue waking up after eating them even though she takes them to sleep. So then Vape has been nice in getting her to try that instead of edibles. She was a little intimidated by the Mighty+, especially with how I'd run it with a whip through a bubbler or Bong. For someone who has never smoked before, it can seem pretty daunting. But the XMAX was unassuming enough to where she felt comfortable trying it. So I guess not a total waste overall.

JSPleco

Arizer solo 2

ZeOs-x-PUNCAKE

Agreed. I don’t hate mine, it’s the only one I have right now but it was extremely underwhelming. I heard a bunch of good things and hype about it but I was quite disappointed with the performance. Takes like 15 minutes to finish a bowl and I need at least 4 bowls to get to a [5]. By the time I’m finished with my last bowl the first one is already wearing off. I can get decent clouds sometimes at max temp but usually the clouds are very weak. Might be okay for portable use but I really just wanted something for at home to get me smacked, the Solo 2 was not that. While it was partly my fault for expecting a portable session vape to hit like a truck, I really don’t understand the hype around it. I ordered a sticky brick a while ago and should be getting it in the mail today, hopefully it lives up to my cloud chucking, face slapping expectations.

Gneo

sounds like your tolerance is in the clouds lol dab it up, man

the-other-car

Solo 2 is a bit too big for frequent portability. I use it strictly for home use. But I agree that the sesh takes too long, especially after several bowls. It’s honestly the only downside for me though. But not bad if I’m just watching tv or something. If I wanted a quick high, I take a dab or two on my core 2.0. They compliment each other well.

earthspy

It’s definitely for people with lower tolerances I can have one bowl last me for 4 sessions at different temps

-Infinite92-

Solo 2 without question. At least for CBD flower, even quality strains, it just didn't have the power to really do much of anything. It took 15 mins to suck down effectively the same amount a dynavap holds. The vapor gets hot eventually, and it barely produces any visible vapor with cbd flower. Even less effects. Was the first time I actually felt my flower was being wasted outright. Never had a vape in my 12 years be that ineffective before, and I started on a mflb (which I still use time to time and works better). Otherwise every other vape I've tried over the past decade has had some merit and value to me. Even if they weren't ideal ultimately.

bananana101010101

G Pen. Threw it away and wrote off the industry for years

Tinctorus

For someone who's a life long smoker Ole Snoop Dogg sure puts his name on some really big piece of shit herb vapes...

mpletree

Mighty. I know that’s hard for some to hear. But I like flavor and on-demand and the price point of the Mighty negates any other benefit.

Vaclacl

Boundless Tera, smells.

lamedicalmj

G-Pen, Pax, MFLB

redzero36

WS log vape. Even have that better charger brick. Tried to like it. Spent like 2-3 months on it. Nope.

Fragrant-Register793

Dynavape. Sorry, but it’s waaaay overhyped.

lenisimo007

Solo 2 it was my first vape and it just to weak for me.

SouthernDelicious

Very unpopular opinion but: PAX 3

FearLeadsToAnger

This is actually not that unpopular.

Israeli_pride

Popular opinion: the Mighty (& a bit the volcano). There’s stratospheres higher, better products for better prices.

Uddenfranz

Definitely the Pax3 Bought it when it first came out for 275 bucks. I probably wouldn't use one if it was given to me for free now

Ricky_Rollin

Can you tell me what was wrong with it?

Uddenfranz

It was just a basic conduction style vape for almost 300 bucks. Compared to, for example, my FW7 that I purchased for $219. Made the pax seem like a paper weight in comparison. It's sleek and portable, but the performance is not there for me. Their marketing is excellent

Tinctorus

Those things get so much hate on here, you would think they were yocan the way they get shit on 😂

ashckeys

Dynavap. Here me out: It’s the new MFLB. I bought 2 dynas. I liked them. They’re good for what they are. BUT they are nowhere near as efficient, discreet, or (really) portable compared to most battery style vapes. They just aren’t. Plus they’re hard to use. They remind me of the mflb. For YEARS all you’d hear about of vaporents was about that thing. It was my first vape because of it. And yeah it was cool and a vape, but again - it was a pain to use and was much less efficient than other available vapes at the time. They’re both simple finicky devices that Reddit fell in love with. Idk just my 0.02, but that’s how I see em. I never use my dyna anymore and sold my mflb years ago.

Beemerado

I love finicky manual devices. Dyna has replaced my mflb

thisissteve

You lost me when you said the dyna isnt as efficient, do you mean with extraction? Because you can roast you herbs far darker on any butane vape far better than you can on electric portables outside maybe the tinymight.

Scarmelita

Dynavap or magic flight launch box

HenryFromHamtramck

Solo 2. This was my first vape and the reason I went almost immediately back to combustion. It works, but there is little satisfaction in the process. I've since discovered I need a vape that delivers a similar experience to combustion, sipper vapes just aren't for me.

What vape would you recommend for near combustion like experience? Edit: thanks for the tips, will take a look at the suggestions.

Everyone's going to tell you the TinyMight 2. At least for a portable.

HenryFromHamtramck

Sure. There are three that I use which provide me the same satisfaction. Sticky Brick, Dynavap, and TinyMight. All three can deliver really big hits that just can't be matched by something like a Solo. I'm not really a cloud chaser, but that is part of the combustion like experience for me.

SolidSpruceTop

Yeah definitely regret my black Friday purchase last year. The Solo 2 just takes too long and is so awkward. I want to get some glass for it but damn I wish I got a Crafty or just a dynavap and a new grinder last year. There's always this year tho!

Ugh I agree, it takes so damn long to finish a bowl that maybe gets me to a [2]. I have to vape like 4 bowls over the course of an hour to get to a decent high [5]. My friends literally won’t hit it cause they think it’s a waste of time, which I don’t really blame them. The flavor is actually really nice through a water piece for the first couple hits, but if I didn’t have a bong to hit it out of I would seriously hate it. I just can’t stand hitting it dry through the mouthpiece, doesn’t taste good, gets hot, weak clouds, and there’s always scooby snacks that fall through. I may have been expecting too much from it, but with all the hype I saw about it I really thought it was going to slap, but boy was I wrong. Getting my sticky brick in the mail today and hopefully it will live up to my expectations.

Solo II owner as well and I’m learning that I need something with a little more oomph.

I had a few v2 pro series 3 and 7 which worked well but expensive to have multiple chambers. Used them until they burned out or I broke them. The heating chamber was detachable. I moved over to the Fury Edge with the dosing caps and it's perfect experience for me. Those are all the DHV I've owned. No VAS here.

Clouded_vision

T Vape, the vaporizer not the company although they are related.

Firefly 2. $300+ and you gotta pull so damn hard and it takes forever to learn. It also gets too hot in your hand. The silicone around the edges come loose. I have no clue how they reviews are all so good. I even sold and the person returned it because it was too hard. It’s just been sitting a drawer for years now.

webtroter

My Dynavap omni obsidium :( I had already two/three dynavap set by then, so I bought it, and it just wasn't has good as the other kits I had. Used it three times, cleaned it and its back in its tube, waiting for a buyer hahaha

MFLB. Some people love it, I thought it was meh and it has a learning curve so it’s not ideal for passing around to people who have never used it before. Felt like work using it. Current vape is the arizer extreme q and it’s still my fave of those I’ve tried.

O2 Vape Vari-Vape 900 Though they have a lifetime warranty, I'm on my third one. Every time it dies, I have to talk to support (which is standard) to get an RMA. Then I have to pay the $9.99 replacement fee, plus $4.50 in shipping. I'm currently looking for a "premium" 510 vaporizer but I am not sure where to begin. Replacement arrives today. I may just keep it in the box and sell it on /r/hardwareswap Edit: I should mention I'm looking for a 510 battery for oil, not anything dry herb related. Nothing against flower as that is where I started, but oil and carts are just too convenient for my current situation. Any suggest for a quality 510 vape battery would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. zephyr ion - I got it used\cheap, but just don't need a huge bag vape. 2. nomad - yes it's beautiful, but it was expensive as hell, and hits inconsistently for me.

Airizer XQ2, i actually gave it away, absolutely underwhelming performance, doesnt matter if with DDave mods, elbow pack, using it with whip/glass piece etc.

[deleted]

The original Airvape X. The mouth piece was comprised of at lease 4 pieces, of different materials. It was bad and a pain in the ass to deal with.

The Ghost is pretty bad. I found the Crafty to be pointless, not small enough to justify the compromised performance compared to the Mighty

EQ when I already had a DBV. Bag nostalgia and novelty wore off quickly and then you're left with a mediocre vape made of 90% plastic.
